    Food was ok… some of the dishes were kind of bland, i had the Enchiladas Mixtas, the chicken and the short rib lacking a bite… on the sweet side… the black bean was exceptional… the noise level was high, hard time hearing conversations

    Love El Vez as an affordable but high-quality restaurant. The portion sizes look small (I ordered enchiladas and street corn) but it was enough food without being too much or leaving leftovers. It's noisy, but upbeat, and a bit dark on the inside. It was accessible for my friend in a wheelchair, which I was very happy about.

    The lady checking us in wasn't very professional or pleasant to deal with. The manager was helping her navigate the system. The drinks were ok. Our waiter was fantastic and attentive. The food was well prepared and arrived in a timely manner. This restaurant is a bit pricey for mexican food, but the service and ambience makes it a worthwhile trip.

    One of my favorite Philly places. The food is always great, the tequila list is long, the drinks are yummy, and the vibe is chill. We had a fun/engaging server (Jelly) who made our meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

    Delicious food and drinks! I ordered the original guacamole, Black Cod al Pastor Tacos and the Smokeshow margarita, all of which were incredible. It was not too loud and I could still talk with my friends without needing to yell.
