Good carnitas and tacos. Service was super fast! Drinks were great.

Have been there many, many times over the years. Consistently excellent food, service and ambiance. One of my favorites and the by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area!

Nice location in downtown Harrisburg. We try to go there at least once a month. Convenient on street parking or valet service for a small fee. On street parking is free after 6 pm.

Very busy on Saturday evening and the staff appeared rushed, but doing the best they could. That left little time to provide the extra touch we all sometimes enjoy. However, El Sol sets a high bar for itself, as my dining experiences have always been very good to excellent. As always, the food was excellent and the menu selection wide-ranging.

Consistently excellent food and service... Start w/the chips/salsa and guacamole... Ceviche a good choice... shrimp soft tacos...

Ate at El Sol Express (Lindle Road) the night before & the food at Express was better than the full service restaurant. The Guacomole was good. The Chile Rellenos (cheese stuffed) were a little soggy and they were not hot enough to keep the cheese melted. The fondue was a big blob of melted cheese with small particles of mushroom, green onion and pepper. We were hoping to love our experience but the food was not that good. Our server was great!

The food is very, very good. Excellent menu and the waitress was very professional. This restaurant is worth a trip to Harrisburg, PA.

We had reservations and people without reservations was seated and served before us. Then we waited an hour food our food and our oder was wrong. When we did receive our food we didn't have silverware. We wait for 10 minutes for the silverware but decided to leave without eating.

The food and atmosphere are authentic. The quality and taste of the food is outstanding. Our waiter, Steve, was very helpful and courteous. We highly recommend El Sol for an authentic Mexican dining experience.

We made reservations for our “family date night”…2 parents & our 19yo son. I’ve heard how good the food is here, and hearing they were getting ready to open a west shore location, I figured it was time to check it out. (Well, that & the San Diego native in me is always looking for good -truly good- Mexican food. I have to say that I was more than happily surprised! The food was really good, and authentic to what I remembered having at home…and to my many adventures into Mexico! I would highly recommend to anyone!!

Dinner on Saturday night. My wife and I tried the Birria specials...tacos for her, a burrito for me. Both were delicious. El Sol is one of our favorite restaurants in the Harrisburg area based on always meeting expectations, friendliness of wait staff and value.
