Very nice restaurant with great tapas! Gluten free tapas available :) it is celiac friendly
Great mexican food!
The food is good and the ambiance was nice. Although you have to pay for chips and salsa, the prices are decent. Margarita's were a little small for the price but I'll definitely go back.
Always a great experience
What a delightful surprise. Good food, fresh flavors!
We arrived one hour before our reservation and had some drinks at the bar first. The Happy hour specials were good. We started off with a house Margaritas that were $5. Not too good, they were very tart and sweet. Switched to beer. We went to sit down and requested an outdoor seat, the host said it would be 20 minutes and we looked and there were about 5 empty tables?, a gentleman who worked there, maybe a manager, heard the conversation and then sat us immediately. We had the guacamole, which was very good, then the Mexican corn on the cob which was also very good. My wife and I split a braised pork taco dinner, which was just OK. I think there are better Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas, but this one was convenient, a good value, and great people watching.
Always a must go when in Vegas. Excellent food and prickly pear margaritas!
Awesome server who really helped us understand the menu so we got exactly what we wanted!! Love this place!
Excellent Mexican food! We have been to Las Vegas many times. This was our first time. Server was very nice! If looking for Mexican food, we will go back!
Over all good experience. The staff was amazing. The food was just OK. I’d go back.
This place is great for happy hour or appetizers. We ordered entrees, but the portions and sizing were very small for the price. Drinks and food tasted great though. Our waitress was very good, when she came around. Service was slow, but besides that very good. We will be coming back, we had an overall good experience!
We decided to stop in for a bite. The drinks were good, we enjoyed the chips & salsa (pico de gallo was my fave), but the best ever was the elote corn. I would go back JUST for that and I wished I did! Will definitely go back next time!
We went based on the great reviews for the gluten free menu. All but two or three items were GF. My wife didn't experience any allergic reactions which is great - even having the chips! Overall the food was very good. The guacamole was fresh made with large chunks of avocado and the right amount of medium heat we requested. The mahi fish tacos were tender and tasty and the corn I'd highly recommend. My taquitos were fried well without being too oily, but had little chicken in them compared to the cheese. The tuna ceviche had a bit too much lime, but maybe they increased the liquid with vinegar? It was too acidic for my tastes. The margaritas were so light on the tequila we thought they didn't have any - how could we tell? Even with top shelf tequila you should taste the tequila.
Service was slow and we were getting apologized to a lot without even asking about our drinks and food. So, they knew it was slow and the server didn't seem rushed.
Atmosphere: we were first sat under the fake tree outside where birds were perched above me. Two bird droppings on the table and one next to me hitting the ground and we had to move to a treeless area. If you sit outside you will be prone to drunks walking by along the path, loud cars and multiple songs playing at once from different areas. It's all part of Vegas, so it's lively.
We will head back for the food, have beers, and sit in a treeless area.
kind of disappointed with what you get for what you pay. $17 for 2 chicken enchiladas, rice and beans. The enchiladas were good, rice and beans so so... just didn't like cost for what i got. The homemade corn tortillas were killer though!
Disappointed to say the least. Was there last year. It has gone down hill quick
Guac was amazing. Everything else was just okay. Slow service. Neat atmosphere at night.
The best Mexican food that we have had in a long time!
I know it’s Vegas and everything is expensive, but this was a bit ridiculous for a Mexican joint. Street taco platters worth about $15 were $25; a large margarita (which wasn’t that large) was $24! Seriously. And the medium margarita, which was in a basic 12 oz rock glass, was $13. The food is decent enough, and the drinks were good too. But the outrageous prices kind of shadowed the entire experience.
Great guacamole and Rita’s!
Very good pork tacos - juicy and flavorful. Avoid guacamole- it was fresh but tasteless..
Its ok nothing spectacular, ok.
Excellent burgers. I usually order the mexi-burger but with a grilled chicken breast instead of beef and salad instead of fries - delish!
Tonight we had fun playing basketball:)
Awesome place.... the view was amazing and even better the service was awesome.... my only complaint from being a local resident is.... the size of Those tacos were tiny.....but all in all wonderful place... would recommend it and definitely going again for the happy hour food....
Well versed in gluten and dairy free items!
Take a big appetite with you when you go to El Segundo because you will need it! The food is fresh and plentiful and you will not go away hungry. The chips, salsa, & guacamole is awesome!! The Bloody Mary spicy, and the chilaquiles YUMMY!!
We usually go to El Segundo Sol every time we are in Vegas. We love the location, ambiance, drinks & steak fajitas, but we were disappointed with the food this time. The steak was tough & chewy, whereas in the past it was quite tender and enjoyable. Not sure if they changed suppliers, but it definitely wasn’t the same quality as previous visits.
Excellent food and outstanding service
We ate at Stripburger and was extremely disappointed. Being a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant we expected a great Burger place for Sunday lunch. The burgers were mediocre at best. I had the bacon cheeseburger, and I believe they described the bacon as Applewood Smoked Thick Cut. 2 very flat small thin pieces of bacon that was either sitting for some time or microwaved or both. Buns were either stale or poor quality.
We were all expecting nice size juicy, tasty, cheese nicely melted, freshly cooked bacon hanging out of a nice fresh bun and none of that was what we got.
Hostes the worse, they sat us all in the back in a dark corner. I wanted to sit in the front, they said it was reserved! I thought making reservations from open table was going to give me a better quality of service and sitting placement. Next time I will call the restaurants directly.
Also the photographers was not selling the pics but repeated like 10 times, pictures are free but just make sure you take care of me. At end after two members of the party tipped her $20.00 each, she kept saying it’s all ok? Like saying that’s all the tip you all will leave? Not right......finally after we tipped her a total of $80.00 she left and our waiter came and asked.....did the photographer charged you for the pics? Because the restaurant pays her for taking customer pics! If we should have known that since the beginning we would haven’t tipped her $80.00.
Weak Service and communication. Cold tamales too!!
Can’t fault. Catered for gluten free very well.
We went for happy hour and had margaritas and street tacos. Our server Bryson was so fun and fast and so patient with us. The tacos were delicious and we kept ordering more. We all had about 4 tacos and 2-3 margaritas and tequila shots and the bill was $120 for 5 people. Great place, right off the strip, but quiet enough to talk to each other.
It was me a 2 yr old and 2-4 yr olds. Dining alone. Alexxis was a great server. The hostess was amazing. Other servers I encountered were great. I met the manager he was friendly with the children. It’s hard to dine out with kids. Some servers despise it. Alexxis was so sweet and kind and accommodated my little family well.
I wish I remembered our server’s name because she was excellent. She was clearly busy (as was the whole place) but she never missed a beat. I worked in restaurants for over a decade and she was way better than I ever was!
The food was delicious. The guacamole was recommended by our server and it was perfect; foned and super yummy with crispy chips that weren’t greasy.
Also, the restaurant is easily gluten-free. You can choose flour or corn tortillas for everything.
Decent food. Was a little loud. Definitely fun people watching being right on strip.
Great food! Tres Leche Cake was phenomenal!
Great food great service and not just this visit, every time i visit
Service was not very good. When arrived, someone cut their foot on a broken plate and was bleeding everywhere. Medics came to the rescue but onlooking crowd was hovering over my wife and I trying to eat. A few bumps from nosey people and we were over it!
My friends took me there for my birthday lunch. It was delicious. OMG! I couldn’t stop eating the chips and Salsa!!
Great Mexico food and awesome value. Restaurant was nice and clean and ambience was good. Great location outside of FS mall.
Carne Asada tacos, chicken quesadillas were both delicious. Service was excellent. Had patio seating with great views.
