El Rincon Mexicano

Awesome meal and service, excellent coffee too! As good experience as any I had in Mexico. Definitely going back and sharing the experience with few friends.

The whole experience was stellar. The food was delicious and the drinks great. The ambiance was nice in the backyard but in the front indoor part of the restaurant the same ambiance music wasn't carried inwards so it was very quiet in there. The food delivery also got jumbled and some dishes were confused with others but that wasn't our waitresses fault as others stepped in to deliver.

Delicious food on a nice patio which doesn’t feel like you’re in the city. Yummy! Will go again.

Backyard patio was colourful, comfortable, very pleasant on a hot summer's evening. Food was excellent and service friendly. Server did not rush us out at all.

Fish tacos were poor quality and server did not ask why when I sent them back, back area was beautiful, but hard to enjoy with bugs and leaves falling into food.

Great (and patient) service with a fab patio and a good selection of menu options made this a no-brainer pick for a small birthday gathering with guests who are veggie and gluten-free. Our only disappointment was hearing that they were out of guacamole!

The best Mexican food I’ve eaten

There are fake reviews posted with great ratings and the pictures of the restaurant r outdated so when u look at the pics u think u r walking into a nice place,but when u get there it’s small in dingy.. there is barely room to sit inside so u r forced to site outside.
Food had no flavor(unlike typical Mexican food) sour cream which is part of Mexican meals has to be asked for on the side n then charged for extra.. over priced.

They need a serious make over of their cooking so it actually tastes like Mexican food and not blend.

The food was tasty. The only complaint was that they served us way too quickly.

It was my first visit to this restaurant and won’t be my last.

One of my favourite places on St. Clair to experience traditional Mexican. I love tacos as much as the next person, but this place has that and MORE. I've eaten almost everything on the menu at this point and can say if you want heat they'll bring it. The flavours warm you inside out and the quality is always top.

First time at this restaurant with some friends so we enjoyed lots of different tasting of food. We have a great time, and enjoyed it!

What a fabulous little restaurant. The food was delicious and full of flavour. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive. The ambience was colourful, bright - beautiful patio in the back that seems pretty enclosed (from the all the plants/trees) from the outside noise all around.

It was so great experience, excellent service and very friendly staff. We'll be there for sure again :)

Food was good, but it took almost and hour to arrive

Had the beef buritto - 4 very tiny pieces of beef the rest all rice. The spice was good - but needs more beef in the dish.

The service was excellent. The guacamole was super fresh and delicious. Flavourful without being spicy. I enjoyed their beer options and all the food came out at the same time. The burrito was huge! It was a little dry but otherwise very tasty.

Although the food looked amazing the taste was lacking. The tacos pollo were bland. the tacos carne were only slightly better. Someone at the table commented her chicken quesadilla was bland and so did our friend who had the fajitas.
The inside seating area is tiny and we were seated on the patio.....on Oct 21! I wish I had known that when making the reservation. It was cool out there and they do not have heaters. They should if they insist on using the patio this late in the season.

Service was amazing! We sat on the patio which was so nice, food was great, they were accommodating with dietary restrictions.

I always look forward to dining at El Rincon - authentic Mexican, spicy Azteca sauce, love their guacamole and service is always friendly!

My friend and I were very excited to try this restaurant but quickly became disappointed when we order guachamole. The guachamole had at least two whole raw onions in it. I like onion, but not that much. We asked the server if this was normal, she said yes. Disappointed we decided to give the main course a try. I got chicken tinga tacos and my friend got a chicken quesadilla. The tacos came with barely any chicken and a pile of raw onions again, no seasoning. The quesadilla was blan and flavourless as well. Finally we decided to get dessert giving them
The benefit of the doubt, it's pretty hard to mess up dessert. We got chirrohs... they were hard as rocks. The only thing that was good was their piña coladas.

A little small which makes it quaint. The food is authentic and excellent. Prices are reasonable and gives good value.

A rather underwhelming dining experience. Food and service were just OK. Waiter was unclear on menu options. Cozy premises, nice decor. Convenient location - metered street parking available directly along street entrance.

I went to this restaurant on a Tuesday after work without realizing it was "Taco Tuesday." This worked out in my favour because the special was 4 tacos for $8! It was excellent value and the tacos were delicious. The restaurant was fairly empty considering the special (again, good for us because the service was prompt). We tried the churros and the fried ice cream for dessert - both delicious!
