About
This winning and fresh approach has meant that El Quinto Pino has enjoyed being called “the best” and “most authentic tapas bar” over and over again since we opened in 2007.

Really glad I discovered and the server let me and my guest know of the other venues in the "family". Roasted vegetables good but seemed more like a ratatouille than what I expected. Cocktail could have been a little more generous. Server very nice. I will definitely return and recommend to others. Great find in Chelsea (thank you, NYT!).
The best restaurant in NYC
Lovely place to meet for dinner and talk. Great service and food.
This is such a special little place. People were super attentive and generous. Food was tapas mostly and unusual blends of flavor. Had a lovely experience and would highly recommend. Food was really good too!
The food and the place was terrible. We are from Spain and this place has nothing to do with Spain. We won’t come back.
Love the drinks especially!
Excellent restaurant!
Fabulous service, fantastic food and drink- can't wait to return!
Perfect place. I’ve been here so many times!!
Always a great pleasure to dine at Quinto!! Food, service and ambiance come together and create an unforgettable experience. We’re always happy to meet our friends for dinner here. It has a youthful and sophisticated vibe and a super friendly staff that makes it feel like home. 👍
Amazing! I would go back again and again and recommend EQP to anyone who cares about food.
It was uneven. The lamb skewers were excellent but the seafood dishes were below par... both the octopus and calamari were too chewy.
I forgot to review this place and it was so long ago. Pre-pandemic. I walked by El Cantaro Pina
Delicious food and cocktails! Nate was amazing
We had a great dining experience at El Quinto Pino. Excellent food, service, and ambience. We will definitely go back.
Cozy spot, perfect to hang out with friends, graze on tapas and drink good Spanish wines. Can't think of a better way or a better place to spend an evening.
Always a pleasure visiting El Quinto Pino. Feels like going to a friend’s house. Food, ambiance and friendly service are consistently great. Our favorite spot for a guaranteed great evening with friends.
i have had a good experience in the past in this restaurant, but this will be the last time i eat there. because it is a tapas place, we felt encouraged to order more small plates if we were still hungry after the first round. we were interested in ordering more, including dessert, when we were told we had to leave our table in 15 minutes because of a reservation (we too had reserved our table). i have NEVER experienced this before, unless i was a walk-in, or had sat for a really long time. we had NOT been sitting for an extended time, and were continuously ordering. we were reminded that we "only had 5 minutes left", which made it worse. i still left a 20% tip, because i have been a server myself, but it was unsatisfactory and i was embarrassed that i was the one who chose this restaurant
Love this restaurant. Has a wonderful energy and such a friendly and knowledgable staff. Excellent.
Love it here!
A treasure tucked away in Chelsea: I LOVE this restaurant! The food is adventurous without being contrived. It is Spanish and everything I have ever had on the menu is beautifully conceived and prepared. The room is small, warm and inviting - comfy furniture, good lighting, homey. The service is impeccable. And you can talk here. I would recommend it to anyone who really appreciates a well sourced and expertly prepared food.
The beer was too expensive and the portions were small.
A quaint tapas place in the Chelsea section of Manhattan - with super tasty drinks as well as food. The service was top-notch and outstanding, from the hostess seating is to our server - super helpful and so accommodating! The atmosphere cozy, it's definitely intimate and is a reason to travel to a less touristy and crowded part of the city to enjoy quality food. My spouse and I are trying to watch our potions and this was a great choice for it! Quality meat and seafood too. I especially loved the frozen Mallorcan lemonade cocktail. Not something I'd normally order in December in NY but it was a warm evening (restaurant too, on the warm side, of your ok with that) so it went perfect with my mostly seafood based meal. I can't wait to return.
The food, service, and atmosphere were great. the only downside was the very small servings for $14 glasses of wine.
The space is charming. The food was outstanding. We had 15 different dishes and were blown away each time. The waiter we had, Alex, was quite simply the best! His attention to detail and efficiency made the night wonderful He was helpful and could answer any question about the menu, both food and wine. It was a wonderful experience.
Excellent food! Everything we tried was great. Service was friendly and efficient. Nice casual decor, a bit noisy...
Food and wine was great. Perfect for any date night!!!
Loved the ambience/vibe, but the food was just okay. I wasn’t blown away by anything and we ordered half the menu. If I’m spending over $100 on going out to eat, I expect the food to be unforgettable. That being said, the service was excellent.
El Quinto Pino is the kind of small place with carefully prepared food and lovely service that is so rare. It was fun, delicious and a a bit of a mini vacation -- what more can you ask?
Wine was good, food was good, very noisy
I love this place -- great food -- great service -- I always feel good when I'm there
Great food, nice atmosphere, exceptional service. We had a party of 5, and the server offered to plate our selections so they could be evenly divided, which was perfect, as we all wanted to try everything! Her recommendations were spot on.
We ordered all the specials and they were all spectacular. I love this place! We’ll definitely be back.
Dishes were a bit small for the price. Quality croquetas, for example, but the smallest ones I’ve seen. Good service.
Amazing food, great service, cozy ambience. Only suggestion is to not crank the heating so high. Would come back for sure!
Very nice people working at El Quinto Pino. We were warmly welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommended.
Great tapas wonderful service
Love every meal I've ever had here- the shepards pie balls are to die for!
Such a nice place. Warm, cozy and welcoming. Delicious! You will feel like a part of the neighborhood!
One of my favourite places for a quiet and delicious supper in New York. Will definitely be back next time we’re in the city
