Private Party Facilities:
The Havana Room seats up to 28 guests for private dinners and is available Sunday through Thursday. Minimum charge for the private dinner is $1,200.00 which includes food and beverage. A 50% deposit in advance is required for reservation. The deposit is refundable upon cancellation 48 hours prior to the event. Business lunch reservations are also available with no minimum charge required. 20% Gratuity is added to the total. Multi course wine and food pairings are available. Chef Pedro is also a Certified Sommelier and he will be happy to personally consult with you on the menu preparation. Visit our website for more details.

The restaurant is good as well as the food. Everything started with the parking. It is a busy street, and there was a valet/self parking fee of $5. The price is not the problem, if you go to a fine restaurant you are expected to pay for parking. The issue was with the guys in the parking place. I felt he was more worried about his $5 than to offer us the facility to park. The he was on front of the car thinking I was going to run away without paying. Not a friendly guy for sure. I didn't want to make a big deal of it, so we wouldn't ruin the evening.
The menu is good, with variety to choose from. They charge $5 to split and 20% tip for parties or 6 or more people. You gladly give 20% for good service, but I didn't feel it was nice to impose a tip. The we asked if they would offer bread or chips, and the waitress responded that if you ask for it, than yes, because some people leave it on the table. Come on, a restaurant of this category worried about chips!!
They should pay more attention to customer service. Food was very good, but little details like this don't make you feel welcome and there are plenty more restaurants in Houston to choose from. Don't let the name of the restaurant fell you control the market.
I've been in this restaurant several times. However this was the last one. Too many repetitive issues. I’ve brought up some of them in previous review.
The person at front desk was so rude. We didn't like the table she sat us. Asked to change, she simple said no. As we insisted, she told us to change we self. We had to carrier the glasses and menus. No help.
Our server wasn't in a good day. His humor was really bad.
The bill came with 20% gratuity. As we were four, I asked the reason. He said after a certain amount the 20% is included automatically. ????
With all those problems how care about food.
As I said enough is enough. It was our last time there.
It's been years since I've been to Spain. The tapas, paella and fish dishes were as delicious and beautifully presented as I recalled. The paella el Meson was fantastic as was the queso flameado, pureed gazpacho, the macitas, salmon salad, and sautéed snapper were prepared perfectly. The finish on the snapper was fantastic. Wish I knew how the chef does this. The crème brulee with a hint of orange was out of this world. Only wish there was a restaurant weeks menu to try for lunch and brunch. We'll be back!
My husband and I went here on a dinner date. It was amazing!! I did not get the waiter's name but the individual provided excellent service. The salad with the avocados was one of the best I have tasted. I am glad I did not need to add dressing to the salad. We both had the Pollo Ajillo. The chicken was seasoned really well. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Reception person at the front did not display upbeat, friendly, caring, warm personality, but was cold, had a dry aloof attitude. Waiter was not unfriendly, but lacks the charisma and service-oriented demeanor to make the customer feel well served and satisfied.
The human element in this business needs a dramatic improvement if it wants to create a sophisticated, elegant ambiance, with customers returning for more excellent dining experience.
We had a exceptional evening celebrating early Father's Day. The food was outstanding follow by the excellent service Jesus R provided us. We we have been here twice and both times they were also experiences. Only observation was the last time I did not received my open table point s. Please make sure I received them for past visit. We will be back again. Thank you for a great evening.
Slow service, have been ignored for a while, place loud enough to not be able to have a conversation at normal voice level, good and diverse food and wine choices, white table cloth on some but not all tables (?), overall clean, parking relatively difficult.
Would expect somewhat more for the price, and would return but not too soon.
