   Had a wonderful meal celebrating a promotion. Love to celebrate and this outstanding steak/seafood restaurant. Our waiter, Ryan, was knowledgeable, attentive and fun. Had the crab legs which were to die for. Can't wait to go back for next celebration

   Attempted to take a shot as we received a gift card for a present. Upon arrival, it seemed nice, low lights, many employees taking care of patrons and the table-side was in full effect. Once we were seated, it became almost over bearing. We had many people stopping by our table for service, conversation, etc. and it was just a bit too much. But as the food began coming out, we started with bread and Brussels sprouts, which were fantastic. But as the "meal" began being served, the food was mediocre. The table-side prep and plating was a cool experience, but the "medium" steak was cold in the middle, the mushrooms had no flavor, the asparagus was also bland. We upgraded to the lobster mashed potatoes, which tasted like a salty tomato soup poured over the top of the mash with a few small pieces of lobster. The desert of Creme Brulee had literally no shell and the custard tasted as if it came from a package. I hate giving poor reviews, as the experience was one that we wanted to try, however we will not return. For $250, there are few meals that we have had that stood up to that price and this was not worth 1/2 of the check :( If you go, be prepared for decent food, a fun experience and a very hefty bill, considering.

   From the moment we walked in the door we were warmly greeted and welcomed as if it was an honor to have us as their guests. Highly attentive to our needs the team Worked together to be sure we were cared for. We never felt rushed which is in contrast to eating a meal anywhere else. The experience was beautiful the food delicious. Our 36th wedding anniversary perfect !

   Food was good. Service was a bit slow considering there were open tables. Music was a bit too loud.

   I have dined at El Gaucho many times. In fact I ate there a few weeks ago but Saturday night started off bad and continued to struggle. I reserved a table for 2 with a horseshoe booth for my 37th wedding anniversary a month in advance. When we arrived they told us no booths were available but they had a table for 4 or we could wait for a booth. They said that the 4:30 reservations were taking longer than anticipated. However, when I walked by the booths no one had food yet. Can't believe they were sitting there for 1 1/2 hours. We opted to wait and were given a bench booth 20 or so minutes later. We had appetizers were good. I ordered fish and risotto and my husband ordered a ElGaucho steak and fries. The food was ready but they had not cleared the table of salads and apps so it sat on the bar until the food was cold. My husbands steak came out luke warm and the fries were cold. He sent it back. I opted to keep my fish. The filet at the bottom was hot. But for some reason the chefs must have had a salt deficit because my risotto was not edible because of the salt and my fish was pretty salty. I was done with my dinner and they brought my husband his fries and they some mashed potatoes and gravy to hold him over, as they put it. His steak arrived and was very good. I had already finished my dinner. A very nice women came over and apologized for the food, us eating separately, and gave us a bottle of wine. At the end they did not charge us for the steak or risotto. That was very nice of them. While I know they were busy our waiter was very un-attentive. This was not what we have experienced in the past.
