We had a company holiday dinner there. We were a little skeptical because it shares the same parking lot as a strip club, but who cares! The food was AMAZING. Drinks were awesome and service was spectacular. We will be back.

Food was terrible burrito was more like a wrap than burrito. Enchiladas served lukewarm. Enchilada sauce more like marina sauce.

We’ve been here a few times before and have always been 100% pleased with food and service. We would actually have a hard time getting a table before. We were surprised when we came last Saturday that this place was pretty empty. We got a table for 8 right away. The service was terrible the entire time. We probably waited 20 minutes just for drinks. The food was still delicious.

Great food and service. Located within a strip club with it's own entrance. Don't let the outside fool you...great place.

This place is a hidden gem that most visitors to Vegas would never know existed. The food is really good with plenty of authentic dishes to choose from, alongside the standard fajitas and Burritos. They offer two types of tacos, street and standard, with some interesting selections. Table side guacamole is best we've ever had, truly worth every penny. It's located in a slightly sketchy off the strip location and shares space with a gentlemen's club next door, but don't let that scare you off. If you want a great Mexican food meal at a decent price in Las Vegas, his the El Dorado, you won't be disappointed.

Total surprise! Wasn't aware it shared the building with a strip club but there is no evidence it is there once in the restaurant. Food was very tasty. Service was great. We will be sure to return.

Yes, it's attached to a strip club, but the food was awesome. We had a large party (12) which they accommodated no problem. The food was delicious and the service was very good. They have off-the-cob elote, which was incredible, and many other authentic Mexican dishes. The only problems we had were that the margaritas we're too sweet and they charged $1 extra to put ketchup on a burger. After mentioning margaritas were too sweet, the next round was much better.

Uniquely strange location (same building as a cabaret) with average tasting food, held together by a friendly staff that is figuring things out moment by moment...I left dinner with confirmation of the obvious: this is a cabaret restaurant.

Was actually expecting more after reading all reviews, but it was good, not at all bad. Taste was nice, but it could´ve tasted more. Needed alot more spice(s). Only other comment is that its a shame every bar and restaurant has these screens showing sports. Totally annoying and ruins the atmosphere. Some music would be nicer.

Nice selection of margaritas. I ordered the Mole enchilada with cilantro rice and refried beans. The chicken in the enchiladas was very dry and mole too chocolaty. The Spanish rice was also dry and seemed to be sitting around for a while. The refried beans were over seasoned and had better beans from a can.

Excellent food, great service, prices were good. I have nothing but good thinks to say about the restaurant. Just don't get freaked out when you pull up and it's next to a giant strip bar. Doesn't effect your experience at all.

I would hope that the population realizes that Mexican food is comprised of only a handful of ingredients that transform into different named items. Tacos are a tortilla filled with meat, cheese, cilantro, pico de gallo and folded over once. It comes in a hard or soft shell. Enchiladas are tortillas filled with meat with cheese, onions, sour cream etc. Burritos are....you get the idea
El Dorado uses the same ingredients as Robertos except they use different spices and PRESENTATION which makes a big difference not mention that it shares wall space with a gentlemens club ( strippers is the operative word here ) and a wait staff that will kiss your bottom so well you are obligated to leave a nice tip.
Expensive? Definitely. Prices are almost triple than off strip joints that serve great food.
Alcohol? Yes, again priced heavily
Ambiance? It's just ok
Gluten free and something else....I forget. Either way it's an excuse to charge more. It's like overpaying for stuff at Whole Foids because it's organic.
Bottom line is I was not impressed with the taste of the food. The presentation was nice. The fresh guacamole made at your table was good but way overpriced. $16 for three avocados and ingredients. Please. Margaritas were very good even if you only have three sips through a straw before you were finished. They were very strong.
Would I go back? No!
If you want to impress visitors from out of town this would be the place to take them. And if you time it just right you might catch a glimpse of a whole table full of strippers I just got off the shift enjoying their shift meal before returning to the laps of luxury next door.
I'm not trying to be the place up because it is OK. To each his own and all my opinions belong to me.

Expected better flavor and better service. Ordered a long island iced tea and it was awful. Came from a mix. That's why I wouldn't recommend to my friends.

We had a big group (13) for dinner... the service was great, the food was delicious and the red sangria was perfect (not too sweet and chunks of fruit). It was a little difficult to hear those sitting across the table and us adults needed our phone lights to see the menu, but would deal with that to dine here again. Don't worry about the world's largest gentlemen's club next door.. this IS Vegas baby!

One of my 2 favorite places in town. Best Mexican restaurant of course. I always get their pulled chicken burrito. Their rice is amazing. Fresh quack, salsa, and chips. Locals discount on mondays.

Don't let the fact that it is next door to a gentleman's club dissuade you - the food, ambiance and service are great. You can tell a good Mexican place by its chips and salsa and theirs was very good. The tacos are amazing and the margaritas were perfect - and I'm from Texas so I've had good Mexican food. We hosted a dinner for 20 and it went off without a hitch.

The food is just okay. The decor is the main reason to go as it is very Art Deco and funky. The ambience is fun. The table side guacamole is the best thing on the menu. We didn't try the margaritas.

Even though it shares the same parking lot as Sapphire strip club, it is very refreshing to have a restaurant in Las Vegas that serves organic, non-gmo, and wild caught seafood. The cilantro lime rice is amazing. If you check in on yelp, get a free flan, which is surprisingly very tasty! The prices are higher than your typical Mexican restaurant, but its worth it for organic, non gmo and wild caught seafood. Parking is easy and locals save an additional amount on Monday's.

The food is always excellent, but my "reservation" for seven people magically disappeared in favor of a party of 35 instead, effectively taking up all the private space and leaving us all crammed into a booth--including a family member in a motorized wheel chair. If you're making reservations for a small party, beware that if a bigger party comes along, your reservation might suddenly get lost.

The carnitas were bomb! So much flavor was packed into these tacos. I like my food a little spicier but I should've asked for a hotter salsa. Everything was amazing!!!! I can't wait to come back here with my girls or husband. He's very finicky with his food and he loved his enchiladas. The cilantro rice was also a favorite on my plate. Mmmmmm I'm getting hungry just thinking about the delicious food. My only complaint is it's a little hard to find. I didn't know it was next to sapphire club. They need a big sign saying turn here for your restaurant. Our server was very attentive and my michelada was on point. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas, and it's all ORGANIC, NON GMO ingredients.
