The food and drinks were great but the service was very slow. Water glass was never refilled and we placed drink orders that never arrived until we reminded the waitress of our order.

Great and attentive service. Best Guacamole ever! They were really nice and the manager came to greet us. We were scared to tell them about the sangria but they made a change and it was amazing. The only thing I would recommend is music and if they would have made a Birthday celebration. I wrote on the notes we were celebrating my birthday but I didn’t get the sombrero. Food was really good everyone thought it was delicious. The aguachiles weren’t spicy but it was really good. It was more like a ceviche. The shrimp was tender. My friends loved the tacos and sopes. The scenery is nice and elegant.

Non-GMO, farm to table Mexican, and fantastic Chef Paco to boot!

No matter what you order here, it WILL be fantastic!

A little pricey, however, portions can be shared as they are HUGE!

GO WITH AN APPETITE and don't forget the tableside guacamole!

The reservation was easy to do online, the food was delicious (we eat vegan), the staff was fast and friendly. It was only as short Lyft ride from the Vegas Strip to the El Dorado CANTINA. I highly recommend it.

Our Hostess was so understanding as we seemed like Goldilocks trying to find where we wanted to sit. We all laughed our way to the third choice we made. :0)
Juan was the best server ever! He was very friendly, attentive and answered all our questions with a smile. My roasted vegetable tacos were wonderful and the black beans with rice, such a great finish to the combo plate. My guy asked Juan to recommend 'something with eggs' ..he did and it was a delicious looking plate of steak strips and eggs (not sure the menu name). I think my guy liked it because his plate was totally cleaned. We are happy to find El Dorado and their healthy ..organic..non-GMO chef prepared delicious foods .

The Al Pastor tacos were great. For the platter, it was only 10 tacos, 2 choices of meat. And service sucked although it was dying down from the madness of the day. It was understaffed and my food was slightly cold.

food was great but service was horrible. we waited over 5 minutes before any one came over to take our drink order. when we did get “service”, our server seemed impatient and she was distracted and in a rush. our platter of tacos came out before our margaritas did. to get our server’s attention was a task on its own and we had to ask twice for another order of chips/salsa, which was not free for the second round. the food was great, but the service was not.

Bottom line...you HAVE to try this place. I’ve wanted REAL FOOD in Vegas for many years of visits. Finally, El Dorado Cantina was everything I wanted. The guac was tailored to us, made in front of us, all fresh ingredients. EXQUISITE. Our waiter Juan was knowledgeable, polite, and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty. I had the veggie salad and also order the cauliflower tacos. My husband had, well, I have no clue, but he LOVED it. I also ordered a tequila flight, which Juan also had helpful knowledge of, and I loved
the sangrita to sip between. I loved getting a little off the strip, and I felt like my business was actually appreciated. Best meal I’ve had in Vegas.

Arrived at 4:15, seated at booth, next to bar. Asked about happy hour specials, told they could only be purchased at the bar (note: we were at a table NEXT to the bar, and there were NO other customers). So we went to the bar to order a drink and sit back down at our booth. Told we MUST drink the drink at the bar. Really? I asked to see the manager, but he was busy talking to someone about marketing or something. When he finished with that person, he moved around the restaurant, and would not come and address us. We decided to order our meal at the bar (by now, 3 tables occupied in the restaurant), and still no manager stopping to talk to us.
I finally stopped him and asked if our server told him that we wanted to see him (we saw the server go and speak to him when we requested a manager), and the manager told us that the server did NOT tell him that we asked to see him. I explained to the manager that we were not happy about the service, but didn't care to ruin our meal discussing it. Manager tried to engage us, o asked him not to. Well, the server walked by, while the manager was standing there, and I quickly asked in, in front of his manager, if he had told him that we wanted to speak with him. He said that yes, he did. So, was the manager lying to us??? He said he didn't understand his own server. I asked the manager to please leave us along so we could finish our meal. The manager took care of our meal (NOT the drinks, which started all of this).
Either way, the damage has been done. One of our top two restaurants in Las Vegas, has let us down, and I don't see us returning because of the manager, and that's unfortunate.

One of Vegas’s somewhat hidden gems, though word is finally getting out. Excellent menu selection and great tasting meals. We have not had a bad meal yet. Portion sizes a a little on the large size so you are forewarned not to overdo it on salsa and chips. But if you do, they are delicious.

This was an odd find. I was looking for a good Mexican place off the strip so I can go on a double date with some friends. This place had a great reviews so we gave it a try. Why do I say odd? Well it is connected to Sapphire's gentleman's club. So needless to say that threw me off when we pulled into the parking lot. The restaurant is very dark and loud, which isn't an issue for us, but something to mindful of if you are looking for a more intimate setting. The service (waiter) was good, but there was some confusion when the food was delivered. And more importantly, the food was average. Portions are big, but nothing special to write home about....I don't plan on going back anytime soon. However, I did notice it was a 24/7 place so if I come back to get a lap dance and want a place to soak up my alcohol, they will certainly be on my mind.

This was our third time at this restaurant over the last five years, since we don't live in Las Vegas. It never disappoints! Spectacular food with innovative menu items, all organic, good service, and friendly management. The staff works as a team together, which is unusual. The staff responds well to questions and very sensitive to food requests. Can only recommend!

Our service from Danny was absolutely excellent. He explained multiple dishes and drinks to us, gave us popular recommendations as well as his personal favorite recommendations, and told us the best way to modify our drinks for the best experience, and with a smile and great attitude. And as a vegetarian, I loved the vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free friendly menu.
