My entree was cold. Black Beans were cold, little to no flavor, the staff catered more to the Hispanic diners than others, including my spouse and I. will not be back.

Food is good for the price...don't know how packed it gets after 9pm but I usually go 6-7p on Saturdays and never had a bad experience...no waiting, not packed with people, food is good, price is right, and music is great for salsa dancing...although the party doesn't get going til after 9p from what waiters tell me

Used to be great. Ropa vieja had no taste. Tostones only 4 for $4.00 were mushy. Service was lousy

Love this place. Been coming for years and you can't find better Cuban food than el Criollo!

Family owned and they care about their food.

Probably one of the best Cuban fast food places in the valley. Simple menu but the quality is very good and authentic.

Good to very good Cuban food. While there's better out there, this is the best I've found in Burbank. This visit was early on a Frida night and the front room has Salsa dancing and live music and very loud...which personally I would avoid in the future but if it's your thing, it looks like the dancers were all having a blast. Good service.

Takes you to the world of Cuba. Great waiter- very good cocktails and a varied menu to satisfy the non-meaters in our party.

Food here was good...everything was "good." Not excellent, not very good...but good. Would I come back...yes if I wanted Cuban and wanted to stay local to Burbank.

Environment and service was good. Owner was welcoming. However, the food was very disappointing. It was bland and lack flavor. Would not return...

Went here with a large group. The service was painfully slow, and we were the only people in the place. The food was good however. A great place for lunch.

The food was incredible, best I've had in California. Staff was polite, enthusiastic and helpful! After, the bar was a great place to talk with friends and dance to a LIVE Cuban band! Awesome Saturday Night!

It was a great experience and great Cuban food in the area of Burbank. We celebrated our daughters HS graduation and we had a ball. Our reservation for 10 was ready and waiting for us. Salsa Music was fantastic!

Very generous food portions, way too much to eat, and pretty good. It was fun listening to the live music and dancing. If you can salsa, the floor is hard on the feet (not wood covered) but it's slick enough for turns and spins. They offer salsa lessons and a DJ on Saturdays; On the Friday we visited there was a live band, check their website.

Went for lunch on a weekday before a movie screening, and it was a very satisfying and filling meal. Since it was quiet, we almost had the place to ourselves. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Our neighboring table of diners informed us that there are salsa/mambo nights at the restaurant. It would be interesting to check that out and the dinner experience as well.

It was our first time visiting the restaurant. I was there with my husband, my cousin and 2 close friends. The food was delicious.
Our server was very helpful. The place has a very welcoming atmosphere. We will be having dinner there again soon. They
have live music but we had to miss it because my friends had to get home early.

I think it's over rated on Yelp. The food's adequate (we've had much better cuban food). side dish of plantain includes 3 pieces which is just stingy. Why don't you call it "garnish" rather than side dish. I was hoping for better atmosphere based on the "Bar and Grill" in the name, but it's just a typical strip mall set up with no much atmosphere. Maybe good for lunch but not for weekend night out.
