One of our favorite off the beaten path restaurants!
Took some friends to dinner. They enjoyed the food and service
The food was great but our server was very rude and seemed very rushed. As soon as we sat down she wanted our order then when she brought our food about 10 minutes later while we’re still actively eating she wanted to know if we wanted boxes. She also was very rude the whole time like I said she just wanted us gone it seemed like so she could leave. She took my fiancé’s plate while food was still on it. We have always had great experiences until tonight with service. Just very unpleasant and not welcoming.
The food has went downhill over the years. I will not be returning.
I don’t know if it’s changed ownership but the food was ok. It used to be great. The pork chop used to be the best. It was smaller and not as flavorful or juicy. The Mac and cheese as not as good as it used to be.
Food was excellent. Service fell short for our dining experience.
Only big disappointment for me was they have taken the empanadas off of the menu. I haven’t been there in a while and was looking forward to having one.
Food --nothing like previous visits
onion straws -not even close to resembling them
mashed potatoes could have been eaten with a straw
maybe changed cooks or owners just not sure
Perfect food and atmosphere.
Pork chop was a little dry.server was not very personable. Never bother to ask me if I wanted another drink. After my first one. Had water instead.
Delicious as always!
Amazing food. My only suggestion would be to use less salt on the chips. Inedible.
Dinner with a friend. All was great tonight.
As always, Nathan, our Server was very good.
We arrived early and Restaurant quickly got very crowded and noisy.
Foods were delicious and 1/2 price margarita night is always yummy!
Friends that were with me hadn't been here in quite a long time. They were happily reminded what a nice place we have in the neighborhood!
Will return--- thank you Nathan & El Coyote!
Pork chops! OMG— the pork chops. Can’t beat the flavor. My wife had the fajitas for the first time and loved them. She usually gets the filet, Oscar style, but we mixed it up this time. Can’t go wrong with either. I love the hot slaw and she loves the regular house salad as well.
It was outstanding. We were sat immediately, service was quick. We couldn’t believe we had been sat, waited on, ate and were leaving within an hour. Food was hot, cooked perfectly. Our waiter made very good recommendations. As first time visitors here, we will be back!
Never disappointed when coming to El Coyote!
We have been going to El Coyote since it opened in the 80's and it never fails to impress!
Good is always good, with s very wide selection.
We made reservations for Valentine’s Day. We We’re seated right at our reservation time. Our waitress was wonderful her name is Emma. Our food was delicious and the margaritas did not disappoint. We had a wonderful experience! We have dined here several times and it’s definitely one of our favorite restaurants
The food was delicious as always. We went on Valentine’s Day with no issues because we made a reservation a couple weeks prior. The decor could use some updating, but other than that, don’t change.
Food was very good. Our waitress was very attentive. They were very quick turning the tables. The restaurant was loud and noisy, but it was Valentine Day and very very crowded. We had a 5:15 reservation and when we left at 6:15 we could hardly get out of the restaurant. I thought they were giving something away.
Always good food place is usually crowded. Service is excellent.
El Cody's Margaritas are still the best... We have been going there for the last 30 years and I have to say I don't think it is as good as it used to be
Always a great meal!
We really wanted to like this place but just could not. Made a reservation and included the fact we were celebrating a 50th birthday, and not 1 mention of a birthday the entire time we were there. I called before making the reservation, asked if the seafood enchiladas were made with snow or king crab since there were different menus online that stated both. The girl put me on hold to check and said it was king crab.
We arrive , were seated , and again ask to verify it was king crab and was informed now, that no, it is snow crab. Ordered the seafood enchiladas and I doubt if there was any crab at all, mainly fish and scallops. The sirloin was just OK but it was cooked as ordered though. Our waitress was nice and polite.
The quality of the food was not worth the price. Just really disappointed in the whole experience.
Great food as always. Service was super! Server was very knowledgeable about the menu.
Terrific as usual
My husband and I requent El Coyote often. He always orders the pork chop dinner and it never disappoints. He ordered the sirloin steak for the first time and it was fabulous. Perfectly grilled, just a great cut. I ordered a two burrito dinner. This is something I order often. This time, the burrito wraps themselves were so dried out on the ends that half of each burrito could not even be cut with a knife. I know it was a very busy evening, so I am going to chalk it up to the fact they were probably sitting under a heat lamp drying out. Hopefully the next time I try these, the experience will be better. They brought back the sweet potatoes, so I am thrilled.
Best filet mignon I’ve ever had! Seriously!
The Best Pork Chops in the Tri State! Great deal on Tuesdays
Food portions are huge and delicious. Always take customers here and they are always impressed with the food
I have had better service at all fast food restaurant’s and I don’t like fast food. I would hire people who don’t have an attitude and are angry at the world.
The young man that waited on us was very professional. The baked potato and sirlion I had was great. I can't say the same for the Mac and cheese. We will go back.
