It's our most popular, elegant, tender and flavorful. The special occasion cut
Absolute vanilla vodka, triple sec, orange juice, cream
Excellent experience as usual!!!
Best margaritas in Cincinnati. Enchiladas Houston always a favorite.
We were blown away this first time we went, so mai our expectations were high, but we had 7 in our group and only 1-2 would say the food was above average- same for the service.
With Tex-Mex being a specialty, I expected more up for an enchilada & burrito than contents simply wrapped in a tortilla
Mine at least has a small amount of melted cheddar on it.
A friend enjoyed the pork chop & my son enjoyed a steak (sirloin?)
Great food - great service- great time
We had a great experience, We sat outside and the server was great with her recommendations. The food was delicious and their margaritas are terrific.
Great food, great service, and felt good about the safety measure in place.
wonderful experience, excellent social distancing and service.
Excellent food, service, and margaritas. A gem in Anderson Township.
Our server was excellent. We have been going for years and noticed that the last few years the quality of the food was not as great as before. I am happy to say that the food was much improved this visit.
This was a birthday celebration for my father in law and his twin brother. Food was very good, service was good although a little forgetful with ordered items. Had to remake two drinks. Recovery was positive.
I ordered the black bean and corn salad with grilled chicken. It was ok. Nothing to brag about. Waiter forgot the dressing. Hardly any black beans or corn in the salad. No tomatoes. So basically lettuce (and it was mostly iceberg), some carrots, and a lot of chicken. Not that good and way overpriced for what I got.
Everything was great as usual!!
I Had ordered the margarita shrimp and they were not cooked but cold and tasteless. The sauce for them did not come until I asked. It was disappointing! Not what I would expect for that price! It was more like I was at Friday's!
The staff was excellent. The salmon was perfect! Large portion sizes. I had to take the mashed potatoes home because I was so full! Their salsa is always the best! Great place to eat.
Fathers Day with the family was a bit disappointing. Not very friendly service but ok. All 6 of us had mediocre meals at best. I’m sure they are struggling with turnover in this current Covid environment but none the less the food was not up to our expectations. I personally had seafood enchiladas that gave me a stomach ache.. tiny scallops and cheap small shrimp. My hot slaw was swimming in dressing and burnt my tongue it was so hot. Several in the party had steak/shrimp fajitas and steak wasn’t the best-chewy. We like to support local but doubt this place will last.
Food and service is always great.
Food was great as always but some food came out a bit on the cold side . In their defense it was a busy day since reopening and it was Father’s Day. The handling of the reservations, takeouts and walk up was shaky at best. Should have had a better plan maybe with more signage and greeters. All in all El Coyote is my favorite
Another great meal. Best pork chops in town! The mud pie is also outstanding
El Coyote is one of our favorite restaurants! It’s worth the drive from Mason. The food is always good and you get a ton of it!
Let me start off by saying we love wale coyote. The food, service, (minus the host who was a tad rude when we got there this time) and feel of the restaurant is one of our faves. The entire quarantine my husband was craving your porthouse steak. He ordered it (along with two other people we were with so yeah 3 porterhouses came to our table) medium rare. It came medium well to nearly well. And since when we arrived we were told by the host that we needed to be done by 6:50 for the next reservation. Umm ok.... the waitress thought that was rude too. The salsa was the bomb but the chips were like the ones we by for basketball game nachos... served in paper boats. Tacky. The plastic cups...weren’t the same size as the normal glasses. You have to do dishes anyway why plastic cups? We were just very disappointed paying $46 for a steak and the entire evening was one disappointment after the next. Don’t get me wrong we’ll be back we love it so much and everyone has a bad or off day. I just hope this isn’t the new normal or your going to be getting a lot of negative feedback. Normally when we come we’re in a group of 10 or more. I’d appreciate if you addressed these issues.
Great food, excellent service, very clean. Will return..
Food was good just not as good as it was before the COVID stay-at-home order.
Emma our server was fantastic!! She was so fun but very professional. And your bartender makes great Cosmos!!
Even under the pandemic requirements they found a way to make the experience personable. The food was outstanding as always and the service was good. We felt safe dining in the environment and will be back soon.
We had a date night and someone recommended El Coyote. We made reservations and the hostess told us to go inside and find our seat. There were no open tables. Another hostess told us to grab the table to the right in the dinning room, again no table and no one would seat us. Finally a kind server directed the hostess to lead us to our table. We ordered orange queso and the Texas twister margarita per many recommendations. The margarita was very syrupy. Sub par margarita at best. The queso was terrible. It tasted like cheese wiz that was reheated 15 times a day for a week. It was glue and absolutely disgusting. The chips were Kroger brand tortilla chips but they did warm them up for us. We ordered the coyote, the pork chop and macaroni and cheese per recommendations. The pork chop was fine, nothing special but edible. The coyote was scraps of fatty chicken and steak over rice with terrible queso poured on top. We only ate two bites. The macaroni was mushy noodles covered by the same gross orange queso. We ordered side salads that were really good. The homemade ranch and croutons were yummy. We actually ordered another salad bc we couldn’t eat any of our meal. They didn’t charge us for the salad, the queso or the macaroni and cheese and our bill was still $120. We expected to pay as much for a decent date night spot but Taco Bell would have been much cheaper and has far more quality food.
Good food in nice atmosphere. Social distancing practiced. Service excellent. Friendly gathering place.
First time being inside a restaurant after Covid closures. Server was AMAZING! Margarita's were incredible as always, and food was exceptional El Coyote has always been in my list of five favorite Cincinnati area restaurants, and Saturday's service, drinks, and food are the reason why.
Excellent service and delicious food and drink. Best Tex Mex in entire Cincinnati region
Nice evening out with the wifey. Get the pork chops!!!
This was my first time eating out since the virus started. It's always been my favorite, but this was like heaven on earth! I missed their margaritas so much, I actually drank two. The steaks are always done perfectly. They took all the proper precautions for social distancing. Still my favorite local restaurant!
We had a very nice experience. The gentleman that seated us was so friendly. Had a great server. She was on top of everything. The food was great. It was a very relaxing and pleasant evening. It was our first time there and we will go back.
Good food but seems there has definitely been a price increase
It was very dark in the restaurant, took a little while for eyes to adjust
Food and service was excellent!
Got the filet, so juicy and tender. Tried the hot slaw was very good. Husband got mashed potatoes he loved them
So full, could not eat dessert
For a Tex Mex/Steak place, food was very bland. The apps, queso and salsa...amazing, entrees...tasted like eating at an old folks cafeteria. If you offer blackened steak, should be blackened with bold flavor. Fajitas, had the combo fajitas - Steak and chicken, how can fajitas be bland???
The service was great and the food excellent
I have been going to El Coyotes for over 30 years. It is a great local restaurant/bar with a wonderful vibe. The food is out of this world good. Try the pork chops, steaks, carnitas - all fantastic. The mashed potatoes are amazing as is the mac and cheese and the carmelized apples. Even the salsa is unique to El Coyotes. My husband and I eat here on average 3 times a month. All other restaurants are measured by our favorite, El Coyotes.
The food and service was outstanding. Did not disappoint.
One of our favorite off the beaten path restaurants!
Took some friends to dinner. They enjoyed the food and service
