If you want the best meal and most amazing experience book a reservation today. I can’t even describe how special this place is. Shoutout to Juan who provides the perfect touch. And great wine list (recently expanded and improved). I have had the pleasure of eating at many Michelin star restaurants and this deserves one. Enjoy!
When you first sit down you wonder whether it will be all it’s cracked up to be. My father is a chef. I grew up in a kitchen. This is by far the most creative culinary experience ever. It takes real guts to ask your guests to wash their hands with chocolate. No, I’m not kidding. You wash your hands with it. Just go for it. Do the meal and the 6-course wine pairing. When it’s all said and done, you will leave smiling like a kid. What incredible fun and all-around great food. Seven stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
It was outstanding as always. It is an unique experience. As a fellow Colombian I’m so proud to bring people to this restaurant.
If I could give them 10 starts I would. The food was delicious we did the experience with wine pairing. honestly I can not tell you which plate was my favorite because they were all spectacular. The service was amazing, the way the explained each plate was awesome. The ambiance was perfect. I will 100% recommended to all my foodies out there its a very unique Colombian Modern cuisine experience.
Music was too loud to enjoy the conversation.
Tree of Life was thinner than usual, and therefore, it was too crispy - I like gooey texture inside better.
Overall, we enjoyed the dinner very much.
We were pleasantly surprised by our dinner at El Cielo last night. The creativity employed in creating the various dishes not only gave out a complexity of flavors but also a pleasant sense of satisfaction. The service and attention to details were excellent, specifically we commend our waiter Juan and his staff for giving us such a unique high level of experience. This restaurant can be compared favorably to one of the other few Miami restaurants that offer a degustation menu, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon. El Cielo provides a step in the right direction providing a unique high level of quality fine dining which Miami very much lacks when compared to other major cities around the world. We would like to make an observation and recommendation about the wine pairing as what is being currently offered does a major disservice to the degustation menu. Rather than offering pairings on the inexpensive side they should try offering two pairings with much higher quality wines, perhaps one at $100 for 3 glasses and another one at $150 for 5 glasses. That would be more consistent with the high quality degustation menu offered. We highly recommend El Cielo, whether is for a special occasion or at any time for those that enjoy fine dining.
Extratosfericanente caro!
Amazing cuisine, one of a kind in Miami. The Tree dish is a must. Very romantic place
Fantastic the food was excellent very different from any other restaurant is good experience
I love the theater of this restaurant. The food is amazing. The huge disappointment is the wine list. Frankly, for this price point it’s terrible. We ended up having to order a very mediocre Pinot noir with a fabulous dinner. Honestly, I almost left to go home to get a bottle out of my cellar. One of the enjoyment of spending a lot of money on a fabulous meal is a great wine list. I’m completely mystified how they can charge the prices they do yet have no good wine selections. It’s a shame because it’s a very good restaurant
Una experiencia increíble y el lugar espectacular!
Me encanta este lugar, súper recomendado 🙌✨
Had great time , Juan was a great server thank you for experience !
Food tasted amazing, was very creative, and presented very nicely. The service was very good. The ambience was very nice.
New Years Eve, 7:00pm, had made reservation a few weeks before. Arrived on time, greeted by the most empathy lacking manager I have ever met. Told us we must be mistaken because the place is closed for a private event. Showed her my confirmation, both in email and on app, she said that must be an issue at Opentable because they, restaurant, had blocked the evening. I asked, when? No answer, no sympathy, no, hold on, here is my card, come back tomorrow and I'll seat you myself!
New Years Eve ruined!
With SOOOOO many excellent Colombian musicians... past and current music ... why are you guys trying to mix an excellent food experience with bachata ? it’s all about the senses right? Juan Manuel .. cambia la música q no esta en nada con tu concepto
From the time we where greeted we felt very welcome. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was outstanding.
The menu is called experience and it is truly an experience not to be missed. One is immersed in the food experience from the chocolate ritual to the very last plate. Highly recommend for date night or special occasion
Cheapest wine ever!
To slow ever
The food is outstanding and the service is great as well!
Second time at the restaurant, service and food are great, but prices have increase and only have the full experience option.
For the price the ambiance was lacking. It was in a hotel lobby and should have been nicer. Also our have a price fixed menu which is okay if you like everything. The presentation was over the top but didn’t match what was a standard ambiance. Should have been nicer.
I have been in this restaurant at Medellín, Bogotá and now Miami and I have to say that Bogotá is the best one by far. About Miami: Experience overall is good. Food taste is amazing: creative over Colombian dishes and ingredients - NOT colombian by itself. Hostess was very nice and kind. Place A little bit loud. Decoration ok. Waitress good but not outstanding. Lack of atmosphere for a place like this, you definitely expect more specially in a city like Miami where the competition is very high level.
This is the 3rd El Cielo Restaurant I've been to and this one is my favorite so far.
Good! Great place to spend +3hrs
Excelente experiencia diferente a cualquier otro restaurante que consco vale la pena vivirla!!!!!
This restaurant is an instagram gimmick. Not worth the price.
I Loved it!
Great place great service great food would highly recommend it
Very nice place with great food. A real culinary experience. The plate presentation is a work of art and the choice of flavor combination is excellent.
They also have a good wine list with options from comfortable prices without sacrifacing the quality of them.
Very interesting menu. Everyone in the restaurant was served the same food at the same time, felt a little robotic and cut down on the ambience. As others have said, many on the staff do not speak English well. It makes it a little difficult to ask questions. Some of the dishes were hits others were misses. All in all, glad we tried it, but I’m not sure if this is a place that I would come more than once or twice a year
El Cielo is an intimate experience where the presentation of the food is what I think they hang their hat on which was very unique. My girlfriend and I are from NYC and spent a weekend in Miami and tried it out. Overall it was a very good meal and the presentation of the food was fabulous. The food itself is very good but I wouldn’t say it was the best I ever had. It is an expensive restaurant so be prepared to spend between 500-600 for a couple if you want to do it right. Overall I am still pleased with the experience.
Actually the ending was a bit surprising to say the least. We chose the 10course menu and added the wine pairing. We didn’t count our courses or “moments” as they call them, but when you spend 450 for 2 people you expect the restaurant to do so. We waited for a while at end and then the hostess asked if we were “ready?” . We said yes and she brought us the check. We paid the check and then thought wait we never got any type of dessert. So we asked to see the menu and sure enough we had never received the last course. So I pointed it out to the hostess and she started whispering to the head waiter and manager. The manager brought the dessert but not one person (not our waiter who didn’t return at that point OR the manager) ever apologized for the fact that they were about to send us on our way without one of their “moments”. I think they even apologize at chilis if they forget your dessert .... strange for a $$$$ restaurant
Great experience. We had a great pre-valentines Dinner.
