Great experience...don’t miss it
The time stops...we spend like 2 hours that seems much less...
Great signature moments....everything was perfect
By far the best restaurant in Miami. I was amazed by how the Chef can creat such Menu and provide the experience we had.
It was my gf bday and we had the best dinner celebration since we have met at El Cielo. Already planning to come back for my Birthday in the next month with my whole family.
Amazing experience, worth every dollar. Food, service are delightful. Will come back many times!
The best experience!!! Thank you for everything!!! Amazing :)
After we finished eating, we were asked to move to the bar because there was a large reservation and they needed the table. We were enjoying a nice conversation and finishing our drinks... we were almost done and this was just a big disappointment for such a famous restaurant. We felt a bit unwelcomed.
Loved every minute of this experience. Worth it 100%.
Fue una experiencia única.
El personal del restaurante muy amable y atentos a nuestras inquietudes.
Cada plato era una sorpresa
Lo único es el acceso al restaurante que no está bien explicado, nos tomó 25 minutos tratando de encontrase el lugar...
I went with my mom to celebrate her birthday which was not acknowledged l. Additionally, as the first people in the restaurant, we were handed dirty menus. We ordered cocktails which arrived during our third course. When the server came to take our order was when he remembered there were three dishes that were different than what was printed on the dirty, outdated menu. My mom doesn’t eat mushrooms, which we told him and he said there was nothing to worry about. One of the dishes was duck with morels. After placing it in front of her, he realized she had told him no mushrooms and asked her if it would be ok to just leave it. We told him no, he left my dish and took hers and then came back with a modified dish and blamed the kitchen for not doing it correctly. My duck was inedible. It had so much sinew that I couldn’t even cut it. I left it and no one ever asked me if there was anything wrong with it.
When the dessert was served, we were forgotten. We had to call the server’s attention for the bill. He sent the hostess with it, who knocked over a water glass on us while delivering it with no real apology. We paid almost $270 for two people and when we left, we did not even get a good night.
This was our second time. We will never return.
The best restaurant experience we’ve had in USA. The service was stunning. Everything is highly detailed , original and perfectly performed. Our waiter Edgar is very professional and friendly.
Overall excellent !!!!!
We went to celebrate our 33th Anniversary. It was perfect!
From the moment we walked in there we felt welcome.
The service and the food was excellent and detailed like expected.
We went last year to the one in Medellin for our Anniversary and we r thinking next year to go to Bogota or Washington to continue with the tradition.
Definitely will recommend if you want to experience a different extraordinary restaurant 🥂
Excellent experience food was amazing and service was So good
Una experiencia unica... lo recomiendo. Un ambiente muy acogedor!!!
Great! Best restaurant ever. An incredible experience.
AMAZING experience and WONDERFUL service... the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about each course. Bartender was awesome and a true mixologist. She made me delicious cocktails that were outside of the menu. The food was EXQUISITE. It was by far the best dinner and experience I’ve ever had in Miami. We got to meet Juan Barrientos (the chef) who is incredibly sweet and humble. I will definitely be going back!
Servicw is the best I’ve experienced !
Very professional servers
Loved our experience here!
We had “Experience” tasting menu and it was fun and entertaining! Very interesting concept! Perfect for a special date or if need to impress someone!
Amazing experience, intimate and romantic.Food was delicious and the
I would never call myself a food critic, there are professional people for that, however i am a food enthusiast that knows the basics of cooking as i spent countless hours in the Kitchen.
El Cielo’s prices are a Joke, and the service for such tasting menus should be impecable, it is not the case
Chocolate experience ... fail
Instead of taking and displaying pictures of him everywhere, Manuel Barrientos needs to head back to Culinary school and learn the basics of serving decent meals
Great service. We had one vegetarian in our group and they took care of their need too without any issues. The food was awesome. The eggplant mouse was the best presented.
Amazing culinary experience for all the senses!!! Exceptional artistic presentation, celebration of taste, spices and colors! Can’t wait to go back!
Awesome experience, greats views espectacular food
Una experiencia culinaria extra sensorial. Definitivamente vuelvo!
Very great experience. Loved every moment.
The Food was well worth the cost and every plate came with a story. It was a breath of fresh air for Colombian dining.
Incredible food, service, and overall experience. A must visit at least once. Surprises every step of the way. Only drawback is the price. Very expensive but well worth it to try out once on a special occasion taking in consideration the overall experience which is excellent.
amazing experience, I definitely come back. it makes me feel so proud as a Latin person from San Cristobal Venezuela (border with Colombia) to be able to try this familiar cuisine that I grow with but executed with great finesse showing one more time the potential we have coming from our roots.
Juanma, has been a pleasure eating your creations; my wife and I enjoyed every bite.
Unique experience but extremely pricey. The lack of flexibility in the menu is something that some of my guest did not care for
The experience and service was terrific. I’ve indulged in many tasting menus around the world and have to say that El Cielo offers something unique and exciting.
Great experience, unlike anything else I have done before.
The best restaurant that I have ever experience. The positive attitude of the chef is transported to the employees. Exquisite professional service, the creativity and quality of the food is exceptional.
Dinning at El Cielo is an experience that is out of this world.
Espectacular overall experience. The food: presentation, explanation portion and taste.
It was my birthday: we waited for 90 minutes to get our table and we were quite disappointed with the service.
Celebrated 23rd wedding anniversary with friends and had a very memorable evening
Such an enjoyable evening! We did "The Experience" and enjoyed 14 little plates of food poetry. Everything was delicious and thoughtful. The cocktails were exceptional too. My husband had the jalapeño margarita and it was incredible. We will definitely be back and try the regular menu. YUM!
It is a great experience and the food is just simply amazing!
Not worth it. The “Chocotherapy” on the menu is a joke, they pour chocolate onto your hand tell you to rub your hands and lick.. seriously? Why don’t you just give a shot on the side for drinking and do the hand part separate, hands are full of germs and there is no way I am licking my fingers in a restaurant even if it’s “part of the experience”. Plus at the very end they bring 2 rose petals with a tiny dollop of hand cream between them, it is redundant we already had a hand treatment before, I have enough products at home to my opinion there is no need to include that in a food menu to justify the price. Only 2 plates were good the rest was disappointing, took the pescatarian menu the scallop was too salty, the chocolate cake tasted like the ones you get from a box. All the plates were small, which was expected for a tasting menu, except this giant bread they bring and call “tree of life” so if you eat that you will for sure be full at the end of the meal to compensate the 2 courses that are for your hands.. We asked for an item not to be put on 1 plate for one of us they decide to remove it for all without letting us know. There Was also a mistake with what was brought to the table so we had to send it back. They have a “coffee show” at the end that is also a joke for coffee connoisseurs. Only Smoke and mirrors very disappointing and not worth the money.
Amazing food and best of service! Went for anniversary and couldn’t have asked for more! Affordable wine bottle options. Definitely recommend!!
Excellent experience, again!
JMB's is a culinary artist, with an uncanny ability to translate his artistic creativity into a gastronomic reality.
Difficult to evaluate every dish of the degustation menu, as each item has it's unique inspirational origin.
Key to remember, is that you're paying to visualize and taste JMBs vision.
