Una experiencia increíble y el lugar espectacular!
Me encanta este lugar, súper recomendado 🙌✨
Had great time , Juan was a great server thank you for experience !
Food tasted amazing, was very creative, and presented very nicely. The service was very good. The ambience was very nice.
New Years Eve, 7:00pm, had made reservation a few weeks before. Arrived on time, greeted by the most empathy lacking manager I have ever met. Told us we must be mistaken because the place is closed for a private event. Showed her my confirmation, both in email and on app, she said that must be an issue at Opentable because they, restaurant, had blocked the evening. I asked, when? No answer, no sympathy, no, hold on, here is my card, come back tomorrow and I'll seat you myself!
New Years Eve ruined!
With SOOOOO many excellent Colombian musicians... past and current music ... why are you guys trying to mix an excellent food experience with bachata ? it’s all about the senses right? Juan Manuel .. cambia la música q no esta en nada con tu concepto
From the time we where greeted we felt very welcome. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was outstanding.
The menu is called experience and it is truly an experience not to be missed. One is immersed in the food experience from the chocolate ritual to the very last plate. Highly recommend for date night or special occasion
Cheapest wine ever!
To slow ever
The food is outstanding and the service is great as well!
Second time at the restaurant, service and food are great, but prices have increase and only have the full experience option.
For the price the ambiance was lacking. It was in a hotel lobby and should have been nicer. Also our have a price fixed menu which is okay if you like everything. The presentation was over the top but didn’t match what was a standard ambiance. Should have been nicer.
I have been in this restaurant at Medellín, Bogotá and now Miami and I have to say that Bogotá is the best one by far. About Miami: Experience overall is good. Food taste is amazing: creative over Colombian dishes and ingredients - NOT colombian by itself. Hostess was very nice and kind. Place A little bit loud. Decoration ok. Waitress good but not outstanding. Lack of atmosphere for a place like this, you definitely expect more specially in a city like Miami where the competition is very high level.
This is the 3rd El Cielo Restaurant I've been to and this one is my favorite so far.
Good! Great place to spend +3hrs
Excelente experiencia diferente a cualquier otro restaurante que consco vale la pena vivirla!!!!!
This restaurant is an instagram gimmick. Not worth the price.
I Loved it!
Great place great service great food would highly recommend it
Very nice place with great food. A real culinary experience. The plate presentation is a work of art and the choice of flavor combination is excellent.
They also have a good wine list with options from comfortable prices without sacrifacing the quality of them.
Very interesting menu. Everyone in the restaurant was served the same food at the same time, felt a little robotic and cut down on the ambience. As others have said, many on the staff do not speak English well. It makes it a little difficult to ask questions. Some of the dishes were hits others were misses. All in all, glad we tried it, but I’m not sure if this is a place that I would come more than once or twice a year
El Cielo is an intimate experience where the presentation of the food is what I think they hang their hat on which was very unique. My girlfriend and I are from NYC and spent a weekend in Miami and tried it out. Overall it was a very good meal and the presentation of the food was fabulous. The food itself is very good but I wouldn’t say it was the best I ever had. It is an expensive restaurant so be prepared to spend between 500-600 for a couple if you want to do it right. Overall I am still pleased with the experience.
Actually the ending was a bit surprising to say the least. We chose the 10course menu and added the wine pairing. We didn’t count our courses or “moments” as they call them, but when you spend 450 for 2 people you expect the restaurant to do so. We waited for a while at end and then the hostess asked if we were “ready?” . We said yes and she brought us the check. We paid the check and then thought wait we never got any type of dessert. So we asked to see the menu and sure enough we had never received the last course. So I pointed it out to the hostess and she started whispering to the head waiter and manager. The manager brought the dessert but not one person (not our waiter who didn’t return at that point OR the manager) ever apologized for the fact that they were about to send us on our way without one of their “moments”. I think they even apologize at chilis if they forget your dessert .... strange for a $$$$ restaurant
Great experience. We had a great pre-valentines Dinner.
An incredible culinary experience! We loved this new menu!
I do not like to write reviews about my experiences in a restaurant because these are my personal point of views on the experience but sometimes it is necessary for the chef and manager to correct the mistakes, lets go directly to the point: 1.- nonsense tasting menu since TM need to represents what the chef try to tell us about his/her style and cuisine, in the other side food plating and presentation was fantastic , the food mostly on the sweet side, we got the menu called the experience : the first 2 dishes are not really dishes a drink and a chocolate hand bath , experience was so far great at this point but changed, with The last of the main dishes been Gnocchis ? after a main fish course? Really im confused , to resume We got 3 appetizers, 3 main courses ( 2 fish and a Gnocchi ) and 4 desserts (I still try to understand the menu with 4 desserts), the wine paring was the worst part supposedly 4 wines pairing , the only served 3 : Prosecco follow to Albariño but I can understand a rose ????? After and to finish the experience : tip was included and they do not mentioned and the worst thing is that they make you believe that is not because when they bring the cc voucher said tip and not additional tip, To finish I could say Bogota my favorite, Miami I do not think to return
Excellent experience we enjoyed very much and the food was very well presented and tasty.
WARNING: LOCATION IS NOT EASILY ACCESSIBLE BY CAR! There were signs labeled “El Cielo” however there were no directions that signaled the exact location of the restaurant. After browsing the area for 10 minutes we asked the hotel front desk for directions how to get there.
(The restaurant is located behind the hotel, passed the roundabout on the waterfront)
Not being regulars nor Miami natives made it difficult to find the whereabouts of the location.
I gave this restaurant higher ratings since my SO’s first time was positive.
The chef’s concept is a great overall experience. Definitely a cool place to go for a change. More importantly the food is delicious!
However, I have chosen to not give the restaurant five stars because I have a biased opinion. Compared to the locations in Colombia, MY PERSONAL experience here in Miami was sub-par simply because the staff did not take the art of the chef as serious as in the mother-land.
I did come in with high expectations because of the appreciation I had for the storyline and the storyteller. I was blinded by the rushed nature and lack of care by the personnel.
A concept menu that really stands out particularly the coffee time. It ll keep you guessing what’s next and you won’t be disappointed
My wife and I were in Miami for our 7th anniversary and had a lot of options to choose from for our special meal. We chose El Cielo - and are very happy we did! With the delicious tasting menu, great wine pairings - I would have been completely satisfied, but El Cielo went above and beyond -- rose petals on the table, complimentary champagne, and a lovely hosting staff ... I kind of wish we could come back every year!
Very impressed. Food & presentation was excellent. Great experience. Wine tasting was also excellent.
Not in miami. I went to the one in Bogota was much and mych better athough pretty much the same menu. I expected some other menu than Bogota
Great for dates even the mother-daughter kind!! Thanks for making our night so special!! ❤️
My wife and I went here for our 5 year wedding anniversary. It was the most spectacular dinner I've ever had. It was an unparalleled dinner experience.
