It was my Birthday the most beautiful presentation for every course an experience that can’t be missed
Overall great experience, however since I went to Cielo Bogota I can not compared (Cielo Miami) to Cielo Bogota. At Cielo Bogota it was an amazing experience.
Cielo Miami the employees needs to have more knowledge about the ingredients and their components, and provide in depth information about their wine pairing as done in Bogota.
Great experience and amazing staff !
This is one of the most creative meals we ever had and we really enjoyed the overall experience.
Gimmicky and food does not substantiate the price being charged.
Heard about this restaurant and wanted to try it out. Menu is ONLY tasting menu - no aka carte choices. I was not at all impressed with the food taste. Presentation is great. Salmon tartar was excellent - everything else was just ok. I’ve had better at other restaurants. Coconut rice is a special creation of the chef so jot the traditional Colombian dish, however it was more like rice pudding than anything else. Not a good choice. Deserts were not memorable. In summary, not worth the “experience” - will not be returning.
The whole experience it’s amazing, from the food and how the people who serve introduce you in all the atmosphere, was a very nice experience and very much recommended to anyone who want to have a real experience while eat, this people introduce you in colombia during the whole stay was really great to visit.
Spectacular culinary experience!! Infinitely memorable dining. This is my second time eating the "experience" and love that everything was completely different and surprising!! (except the coffee and rose petals and please keep doing that bc both are my favorite!!" Love it!!!
Just amazing! Everything was excellent, from the hostess, to the food and the service. The chef really gives you an experience that transport you to the places he was inspired by in Colombia. It was probably the best dining experience I've had in the US.
The service was very unprofessional and poor since we got there. We had a reservation, and they made us wait 50 mins. And once we were sitting the waiter came over with a lot of actitud. She was very stressed and looked like she was in a hurry, which made my table feel uncomfortable with her energy and tension. She messed up the orders as well. Also, after they made us wait for 50 mins, the waiter told us that the kitchen was going to be closed soon so we needed to order fast. What? So if the kitchen closes at 9:30 so why they accept reservations after 9pm? Shame! And the Food? Too exotic and just average.. it isn’t worth it.
overpriced, this was our second time, Menu was changed, food not good at all, too expensive for what you get.
dinner for 4 with 1 cocktail each = 700!!
Great experience. From start to finish, everything was perfectly executed. If you’re looking for a special moment with just one person or a lasting memory with friends, visit this restaurant. Every moment is specifically designed to impress. My wife and I were definitely blown away. Reminded us of another “food experience “ we had in Cape Town, South Africa. Don’t be critical of portions, let the whole experience create the memory you hoped for when you made your reservation.
Randomly I booked this restaurant , we didn’t know anything what’s going on there . It was a big surprise when we walked in and saw the atmosphere . First thought that we will leave at least 500$ but not . It was amazing dinner for two . With many many courses . AMAZING. We spend 230 for two . But it worth every penny. Definitely will come back with some special
Guests to surprise them .
Exhilarating food experience! Every dish was delicious and the service was great. This was our second time at El Cielo. Totally different experience than the first time (just as good) and can’t wait to go back in the future.
Amazing!! Been to the restaurant in Medellin and now Miami! 💚
Recommend for special occasions. The experience is worth the price
It was a great experience very romantic and great food
I was so impressed with my experience in their Bogota Columbia location that I visited while on business that I decide to take my girlfriend to their Miami location for our monthly date night in which we drove from West Palm Beach. Upon arriving we came to find that the building is a complete construction zone the view of the river is blocked and there is construction walk ways all over. If i was notified this I would have never gone there as it completely ruined our evening. The food was fine but the hostess was extremely rude and could really careless after asking why we were not notified of the construction. Would not recommend this establishment until construction is completed.
The most creative dining experience I’ve ever had in Miami. The flavor of the food was incredible. Highly recommended
Amazing food and ambiance. The staff is very knowledgeable of the menu and provided an excellent service.
El Cielo is a very special restaurant with a very special cook. The dishes are not your everyday dishes. You have to keep an open mind and just take one of the 'food tours'.
They are very creative and you will be amazed. It's great for a date if you appreciate contemporary creative food. For just a salad, just go to one of the thousands other restaurants.
Excellent place, different , is an art every thing they do. Very good ideas
Excellent food and fun
It is indeed an experience where the chef and his staff invite you to use all your senses...very creative presentations, and the quality of the food is second to none.
Presentation is amazing. Ambience is amazing. I'm not sure the price fits the food but I would say it does fit the experience. I look at this resturant as a one time experience compared to similar resturants who are similar in price but the food is that little bit more exceptional for the money and encourages me a little more to return. That being said don't let this review dissuade you from experiencing what El Cielo has to offer, it is an experience that is truely amazing! Favorite dishes? The soup with lentils and egg and the burnt ice cream.
As always, this place is amazing. It’s a unique dining experience.
The food is a real experience ! The pork belly is amazing, and the coconut rice is so good. The desserts are perfect.
We had been told that the experience at El Cielo would be different but we really didn't expect how much fun it would be. The service was amazing and Chef Juan Manuel Barriento's creativy is out of the park. Each dish, each ingredient and each presentation had a story. Everything was well orchestrated until the last minute. The only thing I would change is the option for wine/champagne pairing which really didn't compliment the meal as I expected. El cielo gets an A+ for creativity and experience!
Sin palabras, el nombre no puede ser Mejor, estás en el Cielo, viviendo un sueño.
Muchas gracias al camarero Juan y al resto del
Equipo, sois geniales.
Amazing experience! All the food of “la experiencia” was excellent.
Unique experience !!! The food is excellent !! And the service is outstanding. I will definitely recommend this place to all my colleagues and friends!!
excellent dining experience unique dishes and very tranquil kind of a mix between spa and restaurant only way i can explain it also very attentive staff well mannered
Very special place. Several wonderful surprises that will sure to please. Super imagination by this chef.
Great service and experience.
Food is solid but not necessarily outstanding.
Amazing Experience, The location was perfect very nice view, something diferent
Great food experience and the tasting menu was very creative!
It was an outstanding experience that in a few instances took me back to my Colombian roots mixed in with the amazing culinary of a Bluehill Stonebarn.
I was expecting something out of this world and that wasn’t it! It was good but like any other restaurant . Best part was the tree of life!
Juan Manuel is a great role model at his young age!
Well, the idea is okay if you want a food experience that included washing your hands in white chocolate & end up sticky the whole meal, but the concept is just to elicit a comment. I thought maybe it was some odd historic tradition, but no, just unnecessary. Food good, but always with something weird to distract from what could be delicious. It would be hard to get me there again. Sorry, because the space is great. Staff English needs to improve a bit, too.
We had an amazing experience for Valentine’s Day. Highest recommendation !
