I had gone for brunch on Sunday and the service was so bad and slow. Our server kept walking past us and barely came to our table. Definetly not coming back here for the bottomless brunch because we didn't get the brunch that we paid for.
The bottomless brunch is AMAZING!!!!
We have always enjoyed Richard Sandoval restaurants. However this brunch was very disappointing. The food always showed up at room temperature, instead of hot and everything tasted the same and very generic. They didnt even have coffee at a brunch. 15 minutes of waiting for coffee with our bill and we finally left. Won't be going back here for brunch.
Overall good and I think value for money for bottomless brunch. If you’re a foodie/food critics about eggs, then you may have many points to criticize though :) Service was very attentive and pleasant. Nice uplifting music as well when I was there (Dec 1) for Sat brunch.
El Centro never disappoints for Brunch. Food is great, our server was amazing as well. The ambiance was average I understand it is a restaurant/bar for younger people but if the theme is Mexican some Spanish music (salsa, merengue) would have been better than the hip hop they played the entire time we were there.
the food and drink was AMAZING. i like the waiting staff also. they were nice and friendly.
The staff was great and very accommodating!
Great service, good food & a fun experience that I would recommend to others. Not a great option for parties with small children though.
Drinks weren’t that strong but overall everything was delicious!
The food was average, I ordered 3 things from the menu and the restaurant didn't have it in stock. They would take a long time to get the actual food to the table. In addition the waitress spill fajita juice in my friends shirt.
My favorite spot for my Mexican fare addiction! Love the salsa and the El Centro margarita!
The bottomless brunch is wonderful. There's great drink variety and the agua frescas, margaritas, and bloody marias are all delicious and deceptively strong. The michelada is disappointingly bad. All the food we ordered came in reasonable portions and was uniformly delicious. I highly recommend the chicken quesadilla and the churros.
Brunch- quality of the food isn’t great for the price
Very good indeed
I wanted to like this place. The ambience was ok but the music was a bit loud. We are at a restaurant not the club...Food was bland. We order the shrimp ceviche and it tasted so bland I had to ask the bartender for something spicy to add. A ceviche is suppose to be cured with citrus but all I tasted was a consistency like a Mexican cocktail shrimp which is different than a ceviche. I asked the bartender because our service was nowhere to be seen. The salsa for the chips tasted bland as well. Very disappointed in the food and the service.
We went for bottomless brunch. The selection of food and drink was great and the quality was high as well. Initially, the service was very attentive but that stopped about half way through our meal. They play pretty good music throughout the meal, but it got very loud and I was unable to talk to the people I was eating with.
NOT Mexican, compared with the one in Georgetown, not even close. The bartender was nice and the Virgin Marias very good. Do not bother with the margaritas...
Great tacos, reasonable drinks. Never had a bad meal here.
Great food ! Our server was very attentive and kept the bottomless mimosas flowing. The chicken casadilla's are the best I've had in a long time . Great brunch menu.
Looking forward to visiting the DC area again and will definitely make this restaurant one of our stops for sure! My husband grew weary of me telling him how much I loved it! :) Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed it as well!
So much fun, great brunch deal and they were so accommodating and engaging with my table!
Family brunch. Workers were fun. Music was great. Food was bomb.
Overall, the food was very good, definitely authentic Mexican flavors. The look of the restaurant was very cool, but was a bit noisy. The service was mostly good, just took a while to get the check.
Great food. Loud by lively.
This was a fun place for brunch. It was raining out so not very crowded. The service was wonderful and drinks were tasty. The food was good. I particularly recommend the empanadas, steak taco, and chicken taco. The music was a lot of fun too. I would go back for a fun brunch!
My friend and I went here for a brunch on memorial day. We had a reservation and got a table really quickly. However, service was very very poor. Our original waitress took our drink order and disappeared. We had to hunt down another one only to find none had placed our order. Salsa tasted like paper. My friend never got her food order and had to share from my plate. We asked for the manager who told us that they had no staff due to memorial day holiday. Well, may be they should have closed down for the day as many other restaurants were! He did not charge us for anything - which was great since we barely ate anything and drinks were just colored water. I will never go here again.
Our server Ryan was awesome!
Very attentive and just pleasant to talk to.
We will be back!
The food was great; however, the service was disappointing. The waiter didn’t write down our orders and we kept receiving the wrong food. This happened throughout the entirety of our brunch and we even asked why the waiter wasn’t recording our orders. The ambiance was also a bit poor due to the weather and lack of AC on the second floor of the establishment. They only had fans but that didn’t help with the 90 degree weather.
Excellent food and service. Our server, Wendy kept my mimosas filled the entire time. My bf decided he didn’t want the unlimited brunch and the manager gladly accommodated his request. I’ll definitely be visiting again!
Just enjoyed an amazing fun and delicious brunch with family visiting from Puerto Rico. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was as delicious as ever. My family enjoyed themselves so much the now want o search for an apartment nearby for future vacations!! A million thumbs up for El Centro D.F.
I love the energy, music and food. Our server was awesome!
Nice place to meet with friends. Great staff.
Bottomless Brunch. All you can eat and drink! If you leave hungry it's your own fault
The basement seating is a bit dingy. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. There was a leak/drip in the ceiling it hit two of us on the head when we walked underneath it and waiters carried food underneath it.
Aside from the noise level, everything about out experience here was amazing. Friendly wait staff, delicious food, and awesome drinks. Definitely recommend for any occasion.
Tacos were not particularly good; husband had to explain to the bartender how to serve the tequila he ordered; we were seated in a basement room on a nice summer evening.
This place was a complete failure on so many levels. It was 90 degrees outside and I was expecting to go into the restaurant and find some relief in the indoor air conditioning. Wrong! It had to be 95 stifling degrees inside the restaurant. No air conditioning, no fans, not even a breeze from outdoors. It was so miserable I couldn't bear it. I left. Never going back there!
Service was great, they made a special tequila espresso drink that was incredible
We’ve been wanting to try this brunch for while. Great atmosphere and we were really excited for bottomless. Overall we did not find that the brunch was worth $39. There were indeed plenty of options but the majority of the food was delivered cold as if it were pre-prepared and had been sitting out for some time. The service was good, but our waiter was fairly distant considering the thin crowd. We probably won’t do this brunch again because of the somewhat okay food and high cost.
