El Centro D.F. - Georgetown

It was a nice experience! But it was very quiet and kinda boring. Music was okay but the brunch portion was amazing! Would come again but maybe after covid.
Just not that same that I used to remember it as

Good food. Mole salsa was different and very good. Drinks good. Staff very friendly. Atmosphere was fun.

El Centro Georgetown was amazing!!! I went for a birthday last night and the manager and our waiter did everything they could to make it the best birthday ever. The food was great and so were the drinks!!! Kenny was our waiter and he is the BEST!!! If you go to el centro in Georgetown and get Kenny as your waiter you will be In very good hands!!!! The outdoor seating at the restaurant was also very spacious and we were far away from other tables! Additionally, everyone at the restaurant was great at keeping their masks on and making sure groups were distanced!

Experience was over all good. Staff seems to have a hearing issue. Asked for a modification to seating arrangement due to our party being reduced. Still they sat us at a table for 6, kinda a waste. But after asking them again we did end up at a smaller table. Order the unlimited brunch menu which has now been heavily reduced unfortunately. The waitress didn't listen very carefully about modifications to the food items we needed. Some food was wasted unfortunately. Also one person in the party was a non alcoholic person, he asked for a ginger ale but was given a medium sized tequila. The food is good and so is the atmosphere the staff just has to learn how to listen better.

IMO, best happy hour in Georgetown. El Centro doesn't sacrifice quality for affordability during happy hour. Perfect place to go before another event to tide you over (we went at 5:45 and had dinner reservations elsewhere at 9:00), but you could easily come for an early dinner. Be sure to ask about their seasonal infused margaritas!

Bottomless brunch is amazing and they are very considerate about any food allergies.

I work at the Michael Kors in Georgetown and this has become our spot for team outings!

Definitely will never come back here lol. I came here with my girls for happy hour and it was horrible service. I honestly don’t even want to get into it, because it’ll end up being a super long review. But long story short, go somewhere else. The ambiance is beautiful here but the service was the worse I’ve ever had in years

Not only did we wait 15 minutes to get seated, but the hostess was not wearing her mask when she seated us. Our designated driver could not eat or drink anything because they wouldn’t allow her to not do bottomless. We waited 10 minutes for our waiter to arrive, he didn’t come, so we left. Such a bad experience do not recommend

The food, the service, the price.... Worth it! We brought my friend here for her birthday brunch. The patio was a winner!

I don't plan on going back my experience was not the best. The I ordered a fajita which was served burnt. My partner order diablo camarones and it too was undercooked and burnt. The food is not the best. The rice was quite hard and needed more cooking and flavor. If you want a Mexican American experience this is not a restaurant I recommend. The food was just missing all the elements needed to be enjoyable.

Food was amazing, just didn’t like being rushed out. I understand more reservations are scheduled but the way the server handled it was unprofessional.

Service was extremely slow for not a crowded night. It took 20 minutes for us to finally wave someone down for them to go FIND someone to take our orders. Not sure if I would come back if this is how service is on a slow night. I can only imagine if it was busy.

The staff are so kind and accommodating and extra clean especially during this pandemic. I felt safe and comfortable

Amazing food and drinks for a very reasonable price! You’ll go home STUFFED unlike a lot of other places that claim to have a “bottomless” brunch. This place was so good, we will be back again!

Our server was so slow and told us last call for brunch was at 3:30pm when we'd only gotten our first drinks at 2:45pm and were told we had a 2 hour limit on unlimited food and drinks. As we left at 4pm, we saw plenty of people still being served. Also, the drinks themselves (margaritas) were mostly just mixer. Not worth the money.

Best bang for the buck!!!

My daughter and I had a fabulous dinner here tonight. Neither of us had been here before but the menu looked good to us online. The white sangria was excellent and the General Manager was nice enough to send us another round on the house and for no apparent reason. So, taking care of customers is top priority and the food was amazing. What a great combination!

Our reservation was at 8 and the kitchen closes at 8:30, something we were not told. We would've made the reservation earlier so we did not feel rushed. Please consider advising customers ahead of time about the closing times.

Amazing environment, food was really good and service was just fantastic.

They offered bottomless brunch and then cut us off after 30 mins. It says it ends but you should adhere to the offering it for at least an hour.

We reserved a seat and no one would let us sit down.

Staff was so accomodating but overall it lacked in prepardness and organization.

The food was great, but all of the drinks were water down. Our soda was basically water with a splash of soda. The frozen margaritas were impossible to drink as the straws were falling apart.

We’re the first clients there when they opened and somehow the food was cold for a couple of rounds of the brunch.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Definitely returning to try some more dishes.

My only qualm was with the drinks. We went for the bottomless brunch and I had 3 drink- all tequila. By the time I got home, I had a massive headache. I haven’t had a hangover in years. I wasn’t dehydrated so it was especially weird. Otherwise food and service were great. Everything came quickly. Everyone was friendly.

Margaritas were awful. Even after the second try. Made a reservation and had to sit on the street not the patio. Food wasn’t great and service took forever to get someone to come check on us etc

It was my first visit to Georgetown and the restaurant...so im.definitely returning so i can embrace the area

The service was the worse I’ve ever been too. Took forever to get water, our server was rude end just didn’t attend at all. Awful!
Food was great but service was so bad that I don’t plan on ever going or recommending anyone to.

Very good food highly recommend the food however felt very rushed and times due to covid however rushed out when there were empty tables all around us which left us with a sub par experience

Crazy going to El Centro during COVID times - obviously the ambience is different but they do a great job of making you feel safe (hand sanitizer at front, tables adequately spaced). We were told to wait outside for a few minutes before we could be seated even though we had a reservation, and service was a bit slow, but I'm assuming these are both COVID complications - I suggest you make a reservation!! As always, food and drinks were great (frozen margarita is perfection).
