   Really great service, amazing food, and cool vibes in there. Many of the menu items are shareable and filling. The playlist and artwork brought the place to life, would definitely visit again!

   El Catrin never disappoints! The Guacamole en la Mesa was made fresh right in front of us and absolutely on point — so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The fish tacos were a standout: crispy, fresh, and packed with bold, delicious flavors. And let’s not forget the margaritas — hands down some of the best I’ve had! Refreshing, balanced, and dangerously good. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-tier Mexican dining experience in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

   Food was good, fine, but the service was outstanding. They were understanding, on a busy Friday, about us being late to our reservation due to an Uber mixup, which also knocked my phone out. The hostesses charged my phone and the servers were very attentive with drinks, water refills and clearing finished plates. I’ve never eaten inside at El Catrin and the atmosphere is very lively, fun anbd our main server offered us the Soulpepper discount as we were pre-theatre.

    I had the fish tacos and sopa de lima. My husband had the beef tacos. The food was delicious and we truly enjoyed the whole experience. Our server was fantastic (Andrea). Thank you for the amazing experience as it was our first time there.
