The restaurant's signature design element is an elegant Ipe (ee-pay) wood from Brazil. It separates the main dining room and the lounge. Greeting you as you enter the main dining room are Koi fish painted on the floor. Above the Sushi bar, a 12' x 8' Japanese inscription screen, hand painted by a Buddhist Monk.

Hamachi Wrapped Around Snow Crab, Topped with Scallions & Sesame Soy Tobiko
The best Sashimi in Napa! Great Menu! Rhonda always gives us the best Service!
Order salmon with ginger, served teriyaki. Tea pot had a chipped tip. Server forgot to give us paper napkins as requested. The one assisting her was more reliable. Since we are also in the fnb industry, we just didnt make a big deal out of it & did not even requested for any changes. Overall it was OK.
The quality of the food is fabulous. The menu a delight. However! This was our first time at the restaurant (two women for weekday lunch) the waitress kind of steered us wrong. The quantity of food was more than we could possibly eat. I wish she would have told us we were over ordering - and we were asking for her advice. Nevertheless, everything was fabulous, waitress was very help (except for the over ordering part) We ended up with lots of left overs - yet, the price was pretty modest. Will definitely go back - just order less. Just used to Japanese restaurants with small portions. Great place! See you there.
Wonderful place for a lunch date! Service and food spectacular. Great outdoor seating
For our first visit since pre-covid, we enjoyed lunch on the patio and had a wonderful experience. We shared an order of calamari, which was crunchy and delicious. Then, three of us had bento box lunches - steak, sesame chicken, and tempura shrimp, and one of us had the Ricky Ricardo and Poki Tuna rolls. All of us showed off our Clean Plate Club skills! The service was friendly and attentive with very little wait. Eiko’s is one of our favorite local restaurants, and we can’t wait to go back!
This is one of our local favorites. They never disappoint!
It was a little busy and we had to wait a while on drinks and food, but sushi was absolutely delicious
Service very slow. Sushi was dry.
Food was great! Our server was awesome as well! I would recommend the wagyu steak. It was delish!!
I've been going to Eiko's for over 20 years and every single time I go, with every bite (especially when it's the Hamachi Bon Bons) my eyes roll back in my head and I'm in heaven. I always leave there saying to myself, screw Disneyland, this is the the happiest place on earth.
Ricky Ricardo is outstanding and very filling! I also had the Poki Roll and unagi for "dessert". Delicious. My friends and I sat outside on the patio and it was so relaxing. Our server was a pro.
I like Eiko's very much I go there twice a week. Good sushi.
Good, pricing, and service were all good. We dined inside near the sushi bar. The bells/alarms along the back wall (ring when an order is up, phone rings, etc) were loud and annoying. We switched tables toward the entrance, which was better.but could still hear the alarm too well.
The restaurant needs a good cleaning: sections of the floor were sticky, my cell phone stuck to the table, odd smell around our booth. Hopefully this is a state only created by COVID lockdown. I’ll give them another try in a few months after the lockdowns are over.
First - food was great and met my expectations. Service today was below my expectations. Slow to bring us beverages. .when fired rice was delivered it was placed 9n table as server walked past with no spoon to serve with. Could not request as server just walked on. Waiter was ok..but seemed to be there just to take our order.
Would go back again for food...
The service was disappointing, we reserved the table and told to come back that it was being prepared. the restaurant was not busy and the table given was just whatever and had to request for better seating. From front of the house to the server who was just zipping through and did not even introduced himself. Expecting that service will be better that restaurant staff will be more attentive, excited and friendly to be back in operation due to COVID-19 closure. The place should need to be cleaned remodeled and should have more attention on sprucing up and cleaning it to be much cleaner and sanitation process was so bad.
Only problem was it took forever to get our food. Was lunch time and we got passed up for sure.
Maybe our server thought my friend and I want to sit there for 40 minutes waiting. Seriously I do know how long it was but the place was empty of people when we got our food. Should have carried a briefcase. !!!!
Amazing! Service and food was awesome. Thank you!
Most frustrating experience. I usually love Eikos, but yesterday I had a reservation for two for lunch. My friend came a little early, gave the reservation, and was seated in the back patio. I came at 12, on time, and did not see her. I asked if she had come. The hostess said no. Then the hostess said I had no reservation, because they had evidentally erased it once she was seated. But the hostess just stated, they had no reservation for me,. Nevertheless she was able to seat me in the corner of the front patio. I never saw my friend. She finally left after about 20 minutes or so. I ordered a half hour later then left. When I got home, we figure out what happened. Sloppiness on the part of the hostess wrecked our afternoon together. I called and complained to the owner/manager who did offer me a gift certificate which I will use next week. But the incident was very upsetting.
The quality of sashimi was awesome, thick cut and fresh. Rolls were also very good. Prices are reasonable and competitive. Strongly recommended.
The food came quickly and was delicious. The waiters were helpful and came by often to fill water glasses, clean away finished plates. I recommend Eiko’s to anyone that likes fresh, delicious food and great service.
Our server was horrible otherwise the food was good! Would be willing to try again as we enjoyed the food just not our server!
We enjoyed our annual dinner at Eikos celebrating our son’s birthday. Last year we did takeout, as indoor dining wasn’t an option. So glad to be back inside the restaurant. We all appreciated the safety measures taken, including the table dividers, which provided more privacy than previously offered, as well as the hand sanitizer on the table. While we missed the cork chopstick rests, we were glad they had been removed from table service. Always a great experience. So glad Eikos survived the last year to continue serving Napans excellent dining and service. (Tourists, too, but I’m being a selfish local here 😊) Thanks, Eikos!
Great sushi! We’d go again next time we are in Napa.
I felt very happy when we were there last Sat to have a birthday party with 8 people. Good food quality and service. Thank you!
Our server forgot our appetizers until I asked about them (we were already waiting at least 30 mins). One of the appetizers arrived barely warm and not hot. Also the server forgot 2 nigiri on the order. The food tasted great as always but the service is usually better.
Eiko’s is our go to birthday place. Good consist service and food.
I love Eikos as the best and most affordable sushi restaurant in Napa.
The best sushi in Napa - always on my list when I’m in town and never disappoints- would definitely recommend
Always delicious food and very good service!
Orders weren't taken until about 20 minutes after we were seated. Food was just ok.
Great experience at Eiko’s, made a reservation for Sunday at 4:00 right when they open for dinner service. To our great surprise they have Happy Hour from 4-6, great prices kn yummy food and drinks! It wasn’t bloody inside but I think that might be due to limited seating capacity. I could see how it could get noisy with more people inside.
Food is good and prices are reasonable. Ambiance is lacking but part of it is due to COVID (plexiglass for small booths).
Boyfriend and I are regulars. Food is always excellent. Why we keep coming back. Our main dish did get rushed before appetizer and salad we ordered. However it was a minor issue. Always satisfied each time we come.
I have been fairly regular at Eikos for several years, and was so happy to be back indoors again. The extensive happy hour menu is a great value, and can be an early dinner. They are self-proclaimed fusion cuisine, but really more innovative Japanese, and best known for unconventional sushi rolls. The nigiri list is somewhat smaller than you might see in San Francisco, but very high quality. Best happy hour in the county by far, including $2 miyagi oysters. Great specialty cocktails. Warning, sushi is expensive and not very filling. Dinner for 2 with 25% tip was $300. A sensible person would eat less, but I love their food.
Great food downtown...fun place and casual! I would recommend
Great sushi and service- reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening!
Service was incredibly slow and it took away from the experience.
The appetizers were a really good, but that’s the most I can positively say about the restaurant. Our server definitely had some preconceived notions about our table and it showed with his efforts. Our drinks Took over 30 minutes to receive, I ordered soup and I wasn’t brought a spoon until after my soup was cold. We came towards the end of the night and we definitely felt the haphazard way our service was provided. The best part was our friendly busser he was the only one who came to check on us and remove things from the table. The hostess( or what appeared to be a manager) was at the front desk and ignored three people for what seemed like 3 minutes before greeting them, only to continue looking down at the host stand table chart without so much as “ be right with you” the sad part is as a group we are all servers and deff can understand being tired and ready to go home but please don’t take that out on your guests. We still left a 30% tip on an over $240 check because the judgements of others did not mean we still don’t respect people’s time and their need to pay their bills. Do better Eiko, being snobby or having judgments based off skin color and age was not okay!
Superb per usual!
Our server was Ivan and he stop at our table three times. One to take our order, check if we got our food and the check. Rarely saw him. Kept asking the bus boy or food runner for something cause we never saw our server. Otherwise the food was really good, food came out quick. Wish service was better.
