Great menu great selections reasonable prices trendy place friendly service
Nina our server was great. Food pretty standard sushi.
Excellent all around! Food was well prepared and amazing, great sake selection. We took our time and stretched out the meal for several hours and enjoyed every minute of it. Our waiter was attentive and didn't at all mind our leisurely pace.
Great sushi, very unique. The restaurant ambiance is awesome. Loved the fried tempura jalapeños!! Sashimi was fresh. Definitely coming back when we are in Napa!
We like going to Eiko’s for the good food and the place. It’s conveniently located in downtown Napa, walking distance to a lot of small clothing stores and boutique hotels. We never had a problem before with service. They’re usually on point. This time though, we were not greeted by a friendly hostess. She was on her phone, texting and didn’t really give us full attention. When we were seated, our server was excellent, she attended to us in a timely manner. But then back to the hostess, another girl took over the young girls place and this time, this other lady was rude to the walk in customers. She basically turned everyone away like they’re not even supposed to be there. What a turn off. The hostess is the first person a customer sees and represents the business. You have to dress appropriately and be courteous. Other than that, everything else was great.
Great food!! Cool atmosphere.
Very pleasant meal
Visited with my 10year old daughter and all of the food was great. I ding them a bit on ‘service’ as the bussers were over attentive; coming by asking if they could take plates away - even ones full of food. My primary constructive feedback though regards the heavy scent of industrial cleaning products. The smell overpowered the food and it seemed like such a miss for a restaurant that otherwise seemed to focus on the details. My advice: Try something unscented. We’ll be back but hopefully next time won’t have to put up with the Simple Green roll!
We loved the crispy rice with tuna, and the fish was all good quality. The spicy tuna roll was better than most spicy tuna rolls, and our more elaborate rolls were great as well. Fun girls dinner and would be a fun date night unless you want somewhere cozy and quiet.
Great resturant! Super friendly wait staff and the food was delicious! Ordered plenty of oysters and they were so fresh. Would recommend this resturant to anyone!
Very busy and service a little slow. But food is excellent.
Best ribs I ever had in my life
Best Sushi in Napa or anywhere for that matter.
The food was amazing when it came to the check the waitress Nini G was not accommodating about splitting the checks up and she was very rude to my friends
Great dinner! Vegas roll was our favorite.
My boyfriend and I love to dine at Eiko's, rather it be just us or a group of friends. Amazing food and excellent service!
We arrived and even with a reservation the table was not available, not a huge deal breaker we went to the bar for cocktails.
The bar had open seats and the bartender offered us dinner at the bar and cocktails right away so we sat at the bar. This was not our first time dining at Eiko’s but the first time at the bar. The bartender set us up with everything we needed and asked us about drinks. We ordered and our drinks came quickly and just as ordered. The food service was just as efficient as sitting in the main dining room. I was very comfortable and impressed with the service we received. As always not being a huge sushi foodie we picked and closed several items from the menu and had a great dinner.
Sushi was superb! Service was really good too.
This is such a special Sushi restaurant. It really caters to all situations - family, dates, special celebrations, business, dining/drinks with friends, and even solo meals. The menu is simple and the Chef is accommodating to items based on dietary restrictions/preferences. Our kids love the tempura veggies and chicken. The bar provides a livelier ambiance while the dining room provides the perfect opportunity for large and small groups. Smaller booths towards the back provide the perfects setting for intimate dining and conversation. They have an extensive Sake, Beer and Wine list - not to mention a signature cocktails!
I met 3 friends at the bar for cocktails. The cocktails were excellent. Our server did not check on us very often. We ran out of water, we waited a long time to place our order for a second round of drinks, one my friends ordered avocado tempura and it just never came. We waited so long for our second round that my friend found the drinks at the bar & got them herself. Another friend ordered a vegan sushi roll & is it was poorly rolled making it loose and messy to eat. We finally gave up and got our tab and then had to wait for him to process that. We enjoyed hanging out but the experience was not very good.
We have eaten at Eiko's many times, and the food is usually excellent. This time I tried the seaweed salad, and it was totally disappointing. It was over-chilled and generic, no better than what you could pick up at the sushi counter of the grocery store. I have had seaweed salad elsewhere, where you get a variety of types and colors. We will still come back, but I won't order that one again.
My wife and I go here often. The service is alway great and the food is great
Always enjoy Eiko's. Great food, good choices for those who like Sushi, Sashimi, etc., and those who do not.
Great space, great menu, delicious food and attentive staff.
Way over-priced for . . . mediocre food, an impatient waiter, & absolutely nothing special about the environment. It's downtown Napa, so supposedly a good location if you can find parking. The experience simply is not fine dining or even faux fine dining -- it is Appleby's or Chili's with Japanese food -- but the prices are top dollar. Out of alignment.
Incredible service & presentation! Great food great value!
Sushi was just ok and service was slow. Probably wouldn't go back.
The tempora and udon was not good. Too much dough on the tempora and no soup! The spider roll and spice trios was average. The yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño was good. Service wasn’t impressive. It took the waiter a long time to get to the table. And I was always out of water.
Good sushi. Large sized rolls, difficult for a non regular sushi eater to eat with the sticks. But tastes, variety, drinks, service all great!
Phone was not working, could not hear them. Host would not acknowledge there was an issue. Ended up using Opentable. Was a birthday, notes in reservations, not verbally acknowledged.
Food was good and on point with each dish we tasted. Service attentive but no connection created.
Good crowd For a Monday.
I always loved this place. I do even more now that I don’t live in Napa anymore. Great food, service and people.
This place never disappoints. In a town heavy with touristy and often overpriced eateries, it’s great to see somewhere local that doesn’t skimp on the atmosphere.
Great experience! Great sushi. Will need to go back and try other dishes.
Exceptional as always!
Always delicious, service was slow but friendly!
It was my birthday and the staff always makes me feel special when we come in to dine. Everything was delicious and well prepared. Always a win at Eikos!
We were recommended Eiko's by a local vineyard and so pleased that we chose to go there. The food was incredible. A relaxed atmosphere and dining experience, but a MUST go to.
The confit duck fried rice is out of this world, so good we ordered it twice. Lots of sharing options to chose from.
Highly recommend!
Me and my friends definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We are definitely coming back
There are many dining options in Napa, most are fantastic. I found that Eiko’s fell short. We were placed near the bar, we consistently heard servers gossiping and complaining. It was uncomfortable. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, but we won’t return. We spent well over 150 for two (without alcoholic beverages) and were disappointed by the seating and service.
