The restaurant's signature design element is an elegant Ipe (ee-pay) wood from Brazil. It separates the main dining room and the lounge. Greeting you as you enter the main dining room are Koi fish painted on the floor. Above the Sushi bar, a 12' x 8' Japanese inscription screen, hand painted by a Buddhist Monk.
We love the Ricky Ricardo On Vacation plus what we had on the happy hour menu. However, we froze our bottoms off till the heater was finally turned on.
Food is always top-not
Service (April) is always amazing
We love Eikos!!
We were seated outside between 2 heaters which was helpful keeping us warm while eating. The servers were busy running inside to place food orders & deliver the food so the service took a bit longer than usual but it was 45 degrees so they were cold too. The food was extremely fresh, outstanding flavors & artistically plated. Awesome selection of Sushi,Sashimi & Japanese dishes & drinks.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The drinks were good and the staff was very friendly. The waitress recommended rolls and we liked all of them. Overall very nice experience.
The sashimi was extremely fresh, as always! They have so many great rolls on the menu to choose from. Out favorites are the Napa Valley and Lion King. They make the best seaweed salad in the valley! The service is always amazing and on pointe. Al fresco dining only due to COVID-19, but the patio has several upright heaters and two big fire pits that put out a lot of heat. The owners are so personable and kind. We love this place!
Always wonderful service and food. Nice to sit outside in the sunshine and cooler weather.
Food was ok, Server and Food runner were excellent, but Host was very rude and set an unpleasent tone for the duration of the meal. Sat outside, and requested a different table then the one assigned us to, because it was right by the street and front area, where it was very cold and windy. After I asked her if we could sit at a table a little furthwe from the street, she paused, replied with, "Uhhhhh ok," and rolled her eyes, as if she was personally put out. Then towards the end of the meal, we openly heard the owner talking shop about their restaurant. An all together unprofessional experience with ok food.
The food was outstanding as usual, but the restaurant was surprisingly packed, and our server seemed pretty uninterested in being there. I think we’ll stick with ordering their food to go until after the pandemic is over.
Nice spot in downtown Napa. Took my wife for an early bday lunch. Even in a Covid environment, the staff was polite, responsive and upbeat. Very accommodating as well. They even prepared a Dragon roll and Hamachi roll. She said it was excellent. I had the Wygui steak, with wild mushrooms, fingerling potatoes. Really solid pairings and the house salad I had in the side was good as well. Lastly, for her bday dessert, the hostess was good enough to call me beforehand, and they brought a brownie & vanilla ice cream, with a candle to blow out for her bday. Very nice, all in all, we will be back if my wife wants sushi again.
Our waitperson was terrible. Seldom checked on us, I had to ask other workers for items multiple times as they passed by our table. He was awkward and impersonal. I really did not even want to leave a tip.
Mediocre food and a mediocre service experience. The ambiance is lacking and the service is slow and uninterested.
Super inventive food with good cocktails, wine and service. Ate lunch inside this time and it's a bit bare and feels somewhat cold, perhaps it was just the weather. Food is incredible with a flexible menu so there's something for everyone. Definitely planning a return visit.
Everything from the blackened edemame to the jalapeño sashimi was fantastic. We came up for a nice weekend and will definitely return
Another great experience at Eiko's. Great atmosphere, beverages and the sushi is the best in Napa!
Bento boxes for lunch were very generous portions. Service was exceptional. Very safe with outdoor seating. Great experience for a birthday celebration.
Visiting Napa for my wife’s bday. Made a reservation and made note of a bday. No one read the note. No dessert menu made it uneventful. Calamari pale and soggy with sauce on top. Sushi was mediocre at best.
amazing food but i was cold however it was so yummy
Always a treat
Had dinner on Halloween, everyone was dressed up and festive. Food was top notch as always. Always our go-to place for sushi in Napa.
A lot of hype for this spot since it’s in Napa and right next to the Archer Hotel. It’s nice inside. But it just seems over hyped for mediocre sushi and odd wait staff. The restaurant, the vibe, the staff- it’s all off. You’re either a sushi restaurant or you’re a club. Can’t be both.
Delicious food prepared well.
We had chili shrimp, salmon and steak bento boxes and all were amazing! I sure miss this place, having moved to Palm Desert!!
It was such an amazing experience. From the cocktail, entrees to the dessert it was an absolute delight as a first customer, I indulge immensely . My family will come back and further more add this restaurant in star list as a go back.I recommend this restaurant 👏💯
Another wonderful experience dining in the outside courtyard. Had a delightful cosmopolitan made and served by Will. The friendly management lead by Alison and Ben the General Manager Ben continues to support the culture of caring for their customers is so evident and appreciated. Sushi Chef Eddie continues to put out incredible sushi. We look forward to returning to Eikos!
Service was excellent, attention from hostesses and waiters was excellent, coming down to the food quality it was superb. Thank you
Such a lovely evening. This was a gift night out for my daughter and her husband for their anniversary. They came home with big smiles and very happy. They were so surprised by the complimentary champagne which made them feel so special. They loved the food and had a wonderful time. Thank you for making it an extra special evening for them! Especially lifted their spirits after many months of sheltering and giving up so much.
The food was great and our server was outstanding! We had a really great experience
Eikos is consistently good.
I have been to Eiko's on several occasions, everytime is an enjoyable experience. Fresh, unadulterated ingredients, creatively assemble and served with a smile. My guests always rave about the experience.
Love Eiko’s! A go to pre-covid and actually even better now. Great service, good and strong cocktails. Service was fantastic
Aaaah, our weekly sushi splurge at Eikos in Napa. This was the first time we have eaten inside a restaurant in more than six months. For a minute it was a little strange, even with the attractive dividers built between the tables, but quickly it was like old times, other than putting the mask on and taking it off. It felt OK since all the staff were wearing masks too and not letting them drop down like so many folks do.
This week Drew was our server, an excellent, unobtrusive professional who remembers our cocktail and favorite food choices. Pre-Covid we had the opportunity to spend time and get to know so many of the great people at Eikos, now the rules are a little different and we totally appreciated their adherence to the safety rules.
As always, Sushi Chef Eddie made us incredible sushi. And as always we ordered a lot and end up taking some home.....and it holds up well in the fridge. Make your reservations early since there are not as many tables available.
I am hoping that next time we will be able to sit in their lovely courtyard, outside is always my first choice. Thanks to Alison, General Manager Ben who actually is off on his honeymoon and the entire staff for providing such delightful experience.
Ambiance was good, noise level very high. Had group of ladies celebrating President Trumps being covid-19 positive, it was a disgusting and alarming action by adult women with little essence of humanity. Other than that restaurant was a great treat.
Tasty food served quickly. Been there many times.
Eiko’s is one of our regular spots. We love the food and the service is amazing.
Service was not very good but food quality made up for it.
The food quality has sadly gone down. The Ship tempura used to be wonderful--now it is mostly breading!!!
Outstanding service. Knowledgeable staff. Great menu selection. Love this restaurant.
Sat outside on their patio, very nice and comfortable with no Covid concern. The food is always excellent with a number of creative dishes you won’t see in other places
We sat outdoors for dinner. We had the table closest to 1st street. It would have been nice if some barrier was there or a row of potted plants. The traffic noise and visitors walking around and through the dining area was a bit much. However, I was just glad they were open! They have fantastic food and are always consistent. The servicers were very nice and prompt.
One of my favorite restaurants in downtown Napa. The Ricky Ricardo roll is my go to!
