The restaurant's signature design element is an elegant Ipe (ee-pay) wood from Brazil. It separates the main dining room and the lounge. Greeting you as you enter the main dining room are Koi fish painted on the floor. Above the Sushi bar, a 12' x 8' Japanese inscription screen, hand painted by a Buddhist Monk.
7 pc Nigiri Sushi, California Roll or Tekka Maki Roll
Warm Noodle Soup, Tempura Shrimp, Kakiage, Fish Cake
The food was great and our server was outstanding! We had a really great experience
Eikos is consistently good.
I have been to Eiko's on several occasions, everytime is an enjoyable experience. Fresh, unadulterated ingredients, creatively assemble and served with a smile. My guests always rave about the experience.
Love Eiko’s! A go to pre-covid and actually even better now. Great service, good and strong cocktails. Service was fantastic
Aaaah, our weekly sushi splurge at Eikos in Napa. This was the first time we have eaten inside a restaurant in more than six months. For a minute it was a little strange, even with the attractive dividers built between the tables, but quickly it was like old times, other than putting the mask on and taking it off. It felt OK since all the staff were wearing masks too and not letting them drop down like so many folks do.
This week Drew was our server, an excellent, unobtrusive professional who remembers our cocktail and favorite food choices. Pre-Covid we had the opportunity to spend time and get to know so many of the great people at Eikos, now the rules are a little different and we totally appreciated their adherence to the safety rules.
As always, Sushi Chef Eddie made us incredible sushi. And as always we ordered a lot and end up taking some home.....and it holds up well in the fridge. Make your reservations early since there are not as many tables available.
I am hoping that next time we will be able to sit in their lovely courtyard, outside is always my first choice. Thanks to Alison, General Manager Ben who actually is off on his honeymoon and the entire staff for providing such delightful experience.
Ambiance was good, noise level very high. Had group of ladies celebrating President Trumps being covid-19 positive, it was a disgusting and alarming action by adult women with little essence of humanity. Other than that restaurant was a great treat.
Tasty food served quickly. Been there many times.
Eiko’s is one of our regular spots. We love the food and the service is amazing.
Service was not very good but food quality made up for it.
The food quality has sadly gone down. The Ship tempura used to be wonderful--now it is mostly breading!!!
Outstanding service. Knowledgeable staff. Great menu selection. Love this restaurant.
Sat outside on their patio, very nice and comfortable with no Covid concern. The food is always excellent with a number of creative dishes you won’t see in other places
We sat outdoors for dinner. We had the table closest to 1st street. It would have been nice if some barrier was there or a row of potted plants. The traffic noise and visitors walking around and through the dining area was a bit much. However, I was just glad they were open! They have fantastic food and are always consistent. The servicers were very nice and prompt.
One of my favorite restaurants in downtown Napa. The Ricky Ricardo roll is my go to!
This is the go to Sushi restaurant for my family and I in Napa. Always good.
Very good food and service
Staff was very friendly and the team has worked to expand their operating location by bringing more tables outside. Where we sat felt like the haphazard add on but the food was good and service was fine. We would go back here for sushi but I can’t rave about the location or food. Nice spot for every day sort of food and experience.
The fried fish was amazing! It was so tasty, I had to use my hands. The service was great and the ambiance was very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely go back. Management and the staff was very attentive to how their patrons would feel during the time of COVID. I felt like they were very safe, clean and made sure the patrons dining indoors were at least 6 feet away from the next person. (it felt like 10 feet away).
Great food, great service, nice outdoor seating.
The food and service was excellent!! The sashimi selection was fresh and beautifully presented. The wait staff were attentive and helpful.
In this time of viral precaution, I was delighted to find that indoor seating was isolated by partitions between tables. Outdoor seating was available, but the smoke from CA fires made indoor seating a better choice.
I thought the cleanliness and service were impeccable. I ordered the Kobe beef roll, chicken lettuce wraps and Japanese eggplant appetizer. All dishes had excellent flavor. However, I thought the Kobe beef was too chewy and the chicken lettuce wraps too salty. I also had a mango bliss drink that was wonderful and tasty. The music was too loud in my opinion. Overall, good dining experience but I didn’t think it was a wow experience.
Amazing food and nice servers
It was our first stop when we arrived in Napa for a long weekend. The sushi was fresh and delicious as were the appetizers. Service was on point!
Great food, great service, perfect distancing and felt safe from the surroundings and the staff! Highly recommend!
Phenomenal food and service. High quality, super fresh fish. Highly recommend
Service was great from start to finish , great list of wines and the rolls we ordered were amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone who’s loves sushi !
We had a good time here!
Lovely evening dining outdoors and as always great service and food. Every precaution was taken to insure our safety. Will be back very soon!
Best sushi I have ever had, great restaurant and great service.
Birthday weekend getaway however need to make allowance for restaurants to make some adjustments during the coronavirus situation. Overall, food and service was good.
Since every restaurant needed a reservation, we tried Japanese for dinner. We liked the whole crispy fried fish. We also ordered the Tsunami And Kobe beef rolls which were both tasty. We liked our experience here.
It was extremely warm out. Something to move the air around would’ve been nice. Otherwise it was excellent.
I was amazing, service, service, the outdoor and the food
Kinda started slow waiting for our table to be cleaned.
Maître D didn’t follow up.
Waited for our orders to be taken. It was busy so we didn’t complain.
Our server Dougie was actually on top of his game after the slow start. The food came quick and was on point.
Totally enjoyed the Hamachi Bon-bond, oysters, Blue fin with avocado, Hiba, Tako, Tai, Tobiko & Ikura.
Shot of Suntory was the perfect ending.
We were among the last customers left at closing time.
Al fresco dining at the curb reminded us of Europe
Took care of our server as always.
The Hostess was a little off-putting however, there were no heat lamps and it was very cold despite wearing an evening sweater. I do not recommend eating here as it did not appear to measure up to many other restaurants in the Napa area.
Very happy always with food and service
Consistent high quality food and attentive service.
The shrimp gyozas were mushy on the inside and disappointing but the rolls and sashimi was good. Bar was out of a couple items we ordered but the drinks from their specialty menu were good.
We just re-discovered this great place. Sat outside. Our server was friendly efficient and knowledgeable. She was happy! The Ricky Ricardo location It is awesome. Wine selections are ample and reasonably priced. Will be back again
