Tim was amazing and provided impeccable service. His suggestions were the best and did not disappoint. The Angus Filet was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth! The Fried Calamari and Lava Cake are must-haves! This place is great, we will absolutley be back!

Stayed at the Elms with my wife for our 19 year anniversary; Great food, great service and wonderful cocktails. Probably was a bit noisier than usual because I musician was performing. Highly recommend!

Great service. I had the juniper brine double pork chops. About 3" thick of amazing flavor all the way through. Excellent meal Chef.

Our party was very disappointed in our experience here, and would not recommend dining here for any kind of special occasion. I noted on my OpenTable reservation and also stopped by the restaurant earlier the day of our rez to note that we were celebrating my mother and grandmother's birthdays. When we arrived, we were taken to two tables pushed together immediately next to the flapping kitchen doors. The hostess was unfriendly when we requested to be reseated. When we were taken to a new table close the fireplace, our server introduced herself to our table by saying "Are you all ready to order? The kitchen closes in 15 minutes." Our drinks arrived late (after our appetizer), and we were not asked if we wanted a second round. Our server did not ask if our meals were OK. My pasta (the mushroom carbonara) was room temperature and I had to ask for it to be microwaved. We were not offered dessert and I had to remind her server that I had noted multiple times that we were celebrating a special occasion. Overall, service was terrible, food was mediocre and ambiance was great.

We had an absolutely amazing meal. The braised lamb shank is one of the best meals I have ever had. My wife had the filet mignon and it was delicious and cooked a perfect medium rare. Our only hiccup was an extremely loud group at the bar. No real separation between the bar and the dining area. The manager did ask them to tone it down. We will definitely return.

We had reservations at 715. Showed up to the restaurant with a very angry women upset about not being able to get a table outside and another couple who didn't have reservations. We told the host we had reservations and we still waited while everyone else was helped. There were 2 open tables next to the fire place so we were floored when she sat us literally up against the staircase. Waited forever to get waters and place a drink order. Finally our waitress came to our table to inform us that the 2 appetizers we wanted were out of stock!!? So we settled with something we didn't really want but didn't really have a choice. At this time we find out our 1st round of drinks is complementary, ty and thank goodness because a huge party of people started walking into the restaurant and up the stairs that we were pressed against. At times I had people's shoes with in a foot or two of my face. It was disgusting, rude, as well as unnecessary as the tables were empty by the fireplace! Food came out it was ok, waitress was amazing, management came to our table 2 times and didn't once address the issues we were having... like not having items on the menu or the horrible seating. But the people kept going up and down, up and down those stairs all evening long! Our entire experience was less than acceptable at The Elms and its restaurant. At one time we tried to speak with a hotel manager and was told no. Asked about the restaurant and hotel staff said the restaurant was not affiliated with the hotel!! Good luck if you try it! Not really worth all of the hassle. Especially if someone or something else is more important to the staff than their guests.

We went with one of the specials on 9/11/20. The snapper was almost to hot to eat and the was was undercooked and lacking in flavor. We also ordered the mushroom carbonara. It was a very small portion overwhelmed by sauce. We were pretty disappointed. Had heard great things. Our stay at the hotel was lovely except for this.

Had reservations, we were sat as soon as we walked up . Our waitress was Emi she was very attentive never had an empty glass . Food was out really quickly. The food was excellent. My wife had the 8oz Fillet medium rare, I had the pork shoulder both were cooked perfectly ! The sides were really great also. She also brought us fresh baked bread with seasoned chive butter. That was incredible flavor. The restaurant was busy but quiet & very well spaced out . We look forward to dining @ 88 again.

We were there earlier in the day for spa services and asked to get a table near the fire place, the bartender said she would take care of it. We show up, and we are seated away from it. She was even our waitress. Besides that, the food and service were as good as usual.

Great servers/hostess and a clean, spacious dining area. Food was acceptable, but nothing special. Also, never in my life have I paid $10.95 for a quesadilla and fries on the kiddie menu and then an extra $2.50 on top of that for a soda pour that didn’t even fill the wine glass it was served in. I suppose they can get away with this because hotel guests enjoy the convenience of staying onsite instead of driving somewhere to eat, but I think 88 is super overpriced, especially if you are traveling with kids.

First the waiter didn't know what beers they had on draft and when she found out she didn't know was kind of beers they were. The food was overpriced with small portions. The menu was extremely limited.

With such a limited menu and draft selection all I ask is that the staff have a good grip on promoting there drinks and food.

We love The Elms and their restaurant, 88@ the Elms is wonderful! The food is always top notch and well-prepared. The ambiance is quiet but lovely. We were disappointed that the LIbrary Bar wasn't open, but under the circumstances, we understood. They did a good job of keeping everyone a safe distance and making sure that everything was clean. Highly recommend!

We had heard such positive things about The Elm's. My boyfriend and I had our table reserved, and during the reservation process were asked if we were celebrating an occasion. I listed that it was our 2-year anniversary and we were hoping for dessert to share after dinner. When we got there, they rushed us getting seated, not even looking at the reservation since there were so many tables open. I even got a reservation cancellation email later on since I'm guessing they didn't actually get our names when they seated us (even though I stated plainly who we were). From there, it just went downhill. It took 45 minutes to get a cocktail, and when it was brought out, it was in a shot glass (we ordered margaritas), and were told that someone in the kitchen made them because their bartender wasn't available and that she'd never made drinks before. These were $12 cocktails that consisted of mostly just juice, zero ice, no salt and an incorrect glass. After questioning our server, we were able to get different drinks brought out in glasses that were more along the lines of what we expected. We ordered our food, and were just hoping that we would have time to eat it as the paranormal tour was starting at 9 (our reservation was for 7:30). We didnt' get our food until 10 minutes till 9. The bread was completely dry, and the butter spread was frozen (straight from the freezer). The entree was good, it was cooked as we had requested. Although when asked what type of sauce was on my filet, the server was clueless and could find no one that knew the answer. While the entrees did taste good, they were extremely small portions, that cost over $30 a plate for what we were given. No salads, no soups, only stale, dry bread, a meat and a side. Finally, we had to ask for dessert which was a "lava cake" (simply, boxed chocolate cake covered in Hershey's), and were charged $8 for it. Unless you dig throwing money away and incompatence at its best, I'd not recommend the 88.

Keep in mind very short staffed, hotel. I purposely made 9 pm dinner reservations so they would be in a hurry to get us out, breakfast another story 50 minutes wait after ordering, but I knew this going in so dont arrive starving, be willing to be patient I'm very picky and food both weekends I've stayed this summer have been terrific

The food at Elms 88 was fantastic. The best Caesar salad I've had in a long time. The ribeye was perfectly seasoned and our pasta dish was tasty. Finally our apple crust dessert and ice cream was a great topper.

Very disappointed. Party of three, we each ordered something completely different and all of our food was disappointing. To be honest it was just bad. For the price, I was expecting much more. The manager did give us $50 off, even though we didn’t ask for it. I would say they need to hire a new chef, and don’t waste tour money

This night we found the steaks and the salmon to be very good. But on the 2nd night, we wanted something different and were not pleased with our choice of roasted 1/2 chicken and a grilled portebello mushroom. The chicken was very dry and the mushroom's sauce not appealing. We also had the fried green tomatoes, which were good, but the sauce with it was heavy and not complementary. The service was very good though, and the wine selection good. Also the desserts were good.

The wait staff was very nice however it was a long wait to get drinks filled, food and our ticket. My husband and I both ordered the rib eye steak which was good. The portion sizes on the sides are very small. For the amount of money the sides were I expected alot more. For the price of the meal I would not go back. I have been to other high end steak places that are similar in price however the service and portions are bigger and better.

Meh. It was just okay. A little overpriced for the ambience. When I am eating a nice meal I don't expect a shirtless, shoeless guy to keep walking in from the pool to get drinks at the bar...but he did. And the staff seemed more than okay with it as they were chatting him up 10 feet from where we were having dinner. Not a good look for a restaurant trying to be a fine dining experience. My advice- you can do MUCH better if you want a nice meal.
