This is one of our favorite sushi places to eat at in Atlanta, the combinations are packed with amazing flavors, everything is very fresh, the drinks are on point. This is a gem of a place. I can’t say enough about how fantastic the food is at Eight❤️❤️🥂
Not a huge fan of sushi but this was definitely worth it! Food was amazing, great service , pricing was very reasonable. I will be back.
Some of the best sushi I’ve had in Atlanta and by far the best service!
Fantastic sushi. We let the server pick for us and he did a great job!
This was my second time eating at Eight Sushi Lounge and it was another wonderful experience. Everything we ate and drank tasted amazing and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend it!!
Hands-down Best Sushi in Town. Consistent and Delicious.
Awesome food and awesome atmosphere. If it’s your first time dining here, ask to sit in Daniel’s section. He’ll make amazing recommendations.

This is our go to sushi restaurant in Atlanta.
Eight Sushi never disappoints!!
I have been to Eight Sushi Lounge 3 or 4 times, but this is the first time I have sat at the sushi bar. First, the sushi is excellent. It is expensive - don't let the 2 '$" on Open Table fool you. If you want the sushi the "$" indicator should be "$$$$." That being said, the price is worth it if you really enjoy good sushi. The sushi bar, however, is a disappointment. The display refrigeration units are set too high, and impede the view of the sushi chefs. To add insult to the situation, the sliding doors to the fresh ingredients are opaque plastic instead of glass or clear plastic. Thus, if you sit at the sushi bar, you cannot see any of the artistry of the awesome sushi chefs in action. So while the sushi was top rate - though expensive, I had also come for the experience of watching the sushi chefs and was disappointed to have my view blocked by the set up at the sushi bar. My recommendation is to eat the sushi and avoid the sushi bar.
I was very disappointed with the menu choices at Eight. The only sashimi plate choices were $80 or $120 plates. The rolls almost all involved some type of frying - either tempura or crunch. The vegetarian choices were almost non-existent. I've never seen such a thing at a sushi restaurant. There was an attitude by the server that it was a top quality experience but I found it off-putting. We were told that the rolls couldn't be altered, such as removing fish, without ruining the roll. I have been to a lot of very fine Japanese sushi restaurants around Asia and live in NYC - this did not rate. I would not return.
Our favorite for date night! ❤️ Great cocktails and amazing sushi.
I ordered chef's choice nigiri and unfortunately was served escolar, but great service from Jason!
Great price-quality relationship! Sushi plates are creative and delicious, and the service is amazing. Great music and ambiance! Great drinks!
One of our favorite places! Top notch food and flavor in every dish!
The sushi and cocktails here are fantastic!
We were waited on by Kai, who was kind and attentive. She is a fantastic server. The food was superb, as always, and the drinks were great. I realize a few may complain about price for portion size, but I think too many restaurants overload guests with food and it ends up being thrown away. Eight Sushi knows balance.
Great food - love how they change the menu and new items regularly. Sushi is extremely fresh and dishes are creative and delicious
Our waiter Jason was very nice and considerate! The only issue is there is no parking space for customers coming to this restaurant. We had to use valet parking which of course charged separately. One more thing about valet parking, we saw on the restaurant website that the parking fee can be included in the final dinner bill but in the end, we were told it was not feasible.
This was recommended by a friend and we loved it! Our waitress was amazing and the food waste beautiful and delicious. Will come back if we make it back to Atlanta!
We had a great waiter and fantastic experience! Sushi was amazing!!! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Incredible sushi and service, perfect for a date night
Always a fantastic experience at Eight!
I was kinda disappointed. The other reviews on this place were great, so I went with it. It was my wife’s birthday and sushi is her favorite. The service was lackluster to say the least. I have previously been in the service industry for over ten years so when we step out to eat our expectations are high. Our server was very short , he must have been extremely busy. He didn’t spend anytime explaining anything, no menu description at all. For a place as busy and lively as this place, again I was disappointing especially considering the price point. This isn’t some hole in the wall sushi spot so I expect more. When my wife ask about Sake suggestions “she said it’s my birthday I want something good. Our server didn’t say happy birthday, nothing (rude). He recommended the highest price items (which is cool, but not really) if he wasn’t rushed and explained it, sure maybe. Every time he came to the table he rushed away. Yes it took us a long time to order but that’s because we didn’t have any guidance. A guest helped us with suggestions more then our server did. It’s unfortunate... I did notice other servers Daniel and Tina killing it. I asked for there names before we left because I think we like the spot and want to sit with a server who look like they gave a dam. Sorry Eight but when it’s a birthday you all have to nail it. I shouldn’t have had to apologize to my wife for the poor service and subpar experience.
Thank's, now I can't go back to regular sushi at all
I recommend Eight Sushi to all visiting & local friends. They allow you to eat with your eyes & palate. The service on Wednesday with Kai was fabulous & thoughtful. Eight Sushi is a 10!
Took a long time to get attention from server. Water took forever to get refilled. Food was good. Nothing spectacular. Once we ordered the food, it did come out quickly. Just wouldn't drive back there from sandy springs area.
Food was delicious as always but the waiter seemed very rushed every time he came to our table. He was talking so fast I couldn’t under stand him. It was not a comfortable experience.
I have been a couple of times to this place and this was not their best day since it was mother’s day and hence quite busy day. The sushi was quite good but the grilled fish was not juicy. Overall was a very good experience in one of my favorite japanese restaurants in atlanta
First time. A really great experience. Our server Esther was excellent!!!!!!!!
Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. The sushi was fresh and tasted excellent. We will definitely be back.
