this was a disappointing meal not up to the usual standards of a Viceroy Hotel
This was our second visit. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as last year. The service was very attentive and personable. Great wine list. Scenic views. Nice ambiance. We'll try again next year.
Delicious lamb ravioli, mussels and clams, sommelier very helpful, excellent service.
Many couples were seated against a wall while 4 tops at the window / mountain view remained empty the entire evening.
Moved our chairs to get a better view. They should treat a present paying customer as their favorite. Probably the reason the place was not full.
Very original. This is outstanding gourmet food. We have driven from Denver to eat here. Dylan our server was great
The shrimp and grits are outstanding and the ribs are off the charts.
Always great service and wonderful food. The pastry chef is amazing- desert is a must have. Have a drink at the bar with Justin - best bartender around and make sure to ask him about his special libations!
The food is very rich and I thought it was just okay. However, some members of our party were happier with their meals. The service unfortunately was quite lacking. We waited a very long time for both our wine and food orders.
Much, much more than we expected. We had a wonderful waiter named Randall and suggest you ask for him by name. He was funny, smart and knowledgeable to the point that if you are a foodie, you will be impressed. He made sure the wine was the perfectly paired and a meal we wouldn't soon forget.
The decor is more upscale and the views are fantastic.
Chef, Will, was even kind enough to come say hello at our table but what was even more impressive is that we were very full when we left. It's not the kind of restaurant that leaves you wanting. The portions are generous, which is not always common for a restaurant of this caliber. Enjoy!
The service was really slow and the nuce space was ruined by the smoke coming from the open kitchen
We loved Eight K. The atmosphere and view is spectacular. The food and service was very good. Pricey but worth it and one of our favorite spots to enjoy family and friends.
I can't remember a time I was insulted so freely by a waiter. All of the other waitstaff were terrific. They tried to make it a wonderful experience. It's a shame the main waiter had it out for us. My jaw dropped, his comments were harsh. We've all had bad days...As for the food, it was pretty good. The restaurant is probably the most beautiful in the area.
Absolutely amazing!!! We had dinner here 2 nights on our 4 day vacation! All staff extremely knowledgeable and professional! Foie gras, gnocchi, skirt steak, salmon tartar, tune carpaccio, bread pudding, peanut butter mousse and wine list A+!!!!
Great staff. Rick Lang is most knowledgeable and pointed us in many good directions. Thank you!!
Handsome restaurant touts its "hand-crafted" cocktails and locally sourced food, but falls short due to general pretentiousness and over-the-top prices. Chef needs to focus on making the $31 burger something other than unremarkable.
We had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing as was the service. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we have had.
Best Gnocchi ever!!!!
Ate here at a conference with the family. very disappointed that they did not have any gluten free pasta at dinner time or GF pancakes in the am- I had called and spoke ot the chef and concierge several times and they assured me they had this available. Too bad- our kids were upset after I told them they could actually eat normally here when they could not.
It was very good, food excellent and the manager attention exceptional
This was our second time staying at the Viceroy and second time eating at Eight K.
We just thought the service and the food were both fabulous. Our beet and blood orange salads were delicious as were the main courses.
Plus people were really attentive with us. Lovely meal. Ate the second night at Element 47 at the Little Nell and though we liked our meal there, I personally thought Eight K was actually better all around.
We went there for Valentine's dinner. Food was great. Staff were nice and helpful. Although pricy but overall pleased with the experience. Would definitely go back if in the area.
The Duck special was so tender and the vegetables were fresh and tasty, the over priced Barolo was an excellent accompaniment.
The service was fantastic. The food was excellent. The prices are high.
Just fantastic! A new favorite!
Everything was good and presented beautifully. The waiter rushed us a bit by reviewing the specials prior to asking us what we wanted to drink!
Snowmass best kept secret is Eight K at the Viceroy. The service was excellent, helpful and attentive without being obnoxious. Food was delicious with a great menu selection. Ambiance was warm and inviting. We left wanting to come back and try more menu options. Definitly will be coming back.
Great food and very convenient in Snowmass. Viceroy will also pick you up and take you home!
Extremely overpriced for the quality of food. We ordered scallops for a main dish and was served two tiny scallops. Our dinner party left hungry and dissatisfied. Their sommelier offered a wine and never checked back with us throughout the meal. Atomsphere extremely pretentious and very warm and uncomfortable in the dining area. Really expected more for the prices they charge, very disappointing!!
The service was slow almost non existent. The water server was the most attentive. The wine expert ended up taking our order.
Delicious dinner at a beautiful hotel. Service was outstanding. Absolutely recommend.
