   I had the salmon dish and ,though I have had it many times, tonight it was not up to standards. I recommend that a little more quality control is helpful before the dish is served.

   We enjoyed a wonderful dinner before heading to a Cleveland Pops Orchestra performance. We love Edwin's, with wonderful dining and support of a great training program for skilled restaurant workers.The servers and other staff are the best !

   My wife is from Switzerland and this was the first French cuisine that she enjoyed since being in Ohio. Can’t wait to return in the summer to enjoy the patio

    We always enjoy an evening at Edwins. Unusually quiet and not crowded on St Patrick's Day so we had lots of attention from the staff. We chose the Restaurant week menu and had a very nice tomato soup to start. My husband chose the salmon and I chose the chicken and both were excellent - tasty and filling. We had the bread pudding for desert but were both so full we couldn't finish it and took the leftovers home.

    Great evening. We enjoyed their magnificent cheese table to start. Very nice with the three French reds we brought. Then we had Tournedos with seared foie gras on brioche with a prune & plum brandy sauce and of course frites. Delicious Bananas Foster finale! As close as you can get to Paris in Cleveland.

    Edwins is clearly the best French restaurant around, Cleveland and beyond. We always look forward to our dinners here, and this time was no exception. Restaurant week options - in addition to the regular menu - were delicious. My go-to favorite is the potato-crusted grouper (delicious), and my husband's chicken was fabulous. In addition to the outstanding food and meticulous service, we are especially proud of Edwins' philosophy: Eat well. Do Good. So much more than a wonderful destination restaurant, Edwins has provided new opportunities for some of those that society forgets and overlooks. We look forward to our next dining experience here.

    Excellent from the moment we entered. Staff was so attentive but not intrusive. Food was amazing. I had Salmon which was perfect… cocktails were top notch. We will definitely return. Dining was a great experience.

    Obviously it's a great cause first and foremost. But the menu is traditional French with numerous selections. The charcuterie cheese board is out of this world. And the temple side bananas Foster is a specialty for sure.

    We had a terrific experience at Edwin's last night (only our second visit). The service was perfection, and the food was terrific. I had a hard time not filling up on the bread...the texture and taste were wonderful, and he kept bringing more! Two of us ordered the salmon, which was fantastic. I was a bit nervous about the crusty horseradish on top, but it was understated and tasty. The table-side Bananas Foster presentation was entertaining to watch, and the dessert was SO delicious, generous portion so enough to share. We were seated next to the fireplace, and it made the whole experience so cozy and special. I felt like it was a celebration, even though the 4 of us weren't celebrating anything in particular. Can't wait to visit again (it's a 40 minute drive...and totally worth it...but we would go more often if it was closer to home!)!

    Service was fantastic! The bartender was a whiz! We enjoyed choosing six cheeses as an appetizer and loved all of them. Our party enjoyed the chicken, grouper and salmon entrees. All were good but the salmon preparation was just ok. Too much sauce that masked the salmon for me. However, I would definitely go back. The restaurant is intimate with a lot of ambiance and character. Complimentary valet parking a plus!

    Edwins is always a really special experience. Our food was outstanding and in fact, it was one of the best meals we've had in Cleveland in the past year. Everything was beautifully prepared and perfectly seasoned which is greatly appreciated in this day and age of oversalting EVERYTHING! The waitstaff was attentive and professional.

    Food was very good. Unique choices presented nicely. Wine was also good. However the constant stream of bread carriers, waiters and water refills gives the room a hectic disorganized feel. It’s difficult to relax. Service is good but perhaps too much. What we didn’t care for was the music playing. We were there on a Saturday evening and I think music for this time of day should create a relaxed ambiance. Instead I felt like we were at a rhythm and blues concert. Certainly not my choice for background to my dinner. It also added to the chaotic feel of the room. If I thought the restaurant would feel more settled and relaxed I would go back.

    Glad we tried it, but we will not be going back. Went in with high expectations - after all, the head chef is a James Beard award finalist this year. It was a let down. The only thing we ordered that was excellent was the potato wrapped grouper and the beat and goat cheese salad. The salad nicoise was just okay, the lobster bisque was way too fishy tasting and salty, and looked more like thin tomato soup rather than a creamy bisque. The scallops were okay, but too heavily seasoned while the veggies they were served with were really bland and the champagne cream sauce it was all served on top of was, again, really fishy tasting. Desserts were fine but not extraordinary. We were interrupted at least every 10 minutes with offers to top off our water glasses, which was way too often. Our waiter was attentive but forgetful, and we had to repeat every single thing we ordered more than once before he wrote it all down correctly, and he didn’t seem to have ever seen the menu before. All in all it was a real disappointment. We were expecting something on par with the Marble Room or another top restaurant in Cleveland, which is the level of meal and service we paid for, and it wound up being more on par with an overpriced Applebees.

    The staff was exceptionally cordial and welcoming - they all get 5 stars! The restaurant was very dark - I usually enjoy sparse lighting but where we were seated we needed to utilize the street light to read the menu (and I don’t use readers). The food was good, nothing delicious just good. The special Valentine’s martini was exceptional. The burger was not prepared tableside I am guessing because of the crowd for the busy evening. It still was over $30 - a lot for a burger with no bells and whistles. What truly made our evening? Stephen, our server!! He was always aware of what was needed at our table - whether it be refilling of our drinks, replenishing of our bread, or alerting the kitchen for our next course. He was exceptional, cordial, and very knowledgeable about the restaurant. We were already familiar with the premise of the restaurant and we love the fact that Edwin’s helps to rehabilitate people who have a less than stellar past. However Stephen would go out of his way to take the time to describe and explain details of the restaurant background, the creation of the additional butcher, bakery, and Edwin’s Too and other various details, for instance the restaurant’s method of training of the employees. Stephen truly was a delight and it was his phenomenal service that made our evening special at Edwin’s.
