Highly recommend Edward's Steakhouse. We have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed it. This was our first time coming back since the start of the pandemic, and they did not disappoint. Food was excellent as always, and all of the safety protocols in place made us feel very comfortable being there.
We celebrated a birthday and this place was bigger than I thought. The ambience was very quiet. We had the whole downstairs to ourselves. Service was good but could have been better compared to other restaurants. Overall, I would go back again because the food was food.

My boyfriend and I of two years chose Edward’s Steakhouse for our third Valentine’s Day together. It was incredibly romantic with a lovely ambiance, amazing food, and excellent service from our waitress, Stacy! Will definitely be returning for their Filet Mignon Burgers!
We had an amazing time at Edward’s Steakhouse. Our waiter, Mario, was excellent and despite the limited seating, we weren’t rushed. We will definitely come back again for a special occasion!
I always order he filet mignon very very good.

Edward’s Steakhouse always delivers exception service and food. I consider myself a loyal customer that enjoys showing Edward’s Steakhouse to new people.
I visited this restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The service we received was excellent however both my friend and I get violently ill after eating here. We both ordered drinks appetizers Entrées and desserts and we both were extremely sick after smh.

We had such a great dining experience! The protocols in place with covid made us feel comfortable and the staff (especially Stacey) made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

The food is very delicious, however my friend had ordered her steak medium well and it came medium rare / rare. She was very hungry so she ate it anyway and considering it was her first time trying a medium rare steak, she actually found that enjoyed it. So maybe that was a happy accident. However, for an award-winning restaurant you would think they would be better with steak temperatures. The service was unmatched. Absolutely great staff! Extremely pricey, but we didn't mind as we were prepared for that ahead of time and the food was good.
Service was mediocre. Waiter was extremely rude when we asked for the food to be cooked more thoroughly because the steak was COLD and raw in the middle.
Couldnt have had a better experience. Went with a bunch of friends just for a night out, no one ever going to Edward’s before, safe to say we will definitly be returning. I highly recommend coming to Edward’s. Between the food, staff, & overall experience, it was a lot of fun, & great for any occasion.
It’s difficult in this COVID environment but we had to sit near the door and near the bar. It was of course noisy and rowdy. I LOVE this place and love going for a quiet date night with my husband and WITHOUT our kids. wish we were able to sit upstairs or in the back for a better ambiance. Other then that, we had a great evening.
Waiter was amazing
The porterhouse steak was amazing. The stuffed shrimp was ok, would not order again. The seafood sample platter was my favorite everything was delicious. Recommend it ! The service was amazing!

Anniversary dinner. I got the petit filet with potato hash brown cake, and Caesar salad. He got the cowboy ribeye with creamed spinach and a Caesar salad. I put in the notes it was our anniversary but I don’t think that note was passed along. Food and service were good. Not crowded.
The food was AMAZING as usual. Service was excellent. The restaurant could do a bit better with Covid social distancing guidelines. Even with an early 5:00 dinner, the dining area was filled with 4 other groups within a smaller space (no windows or doors to circulate the air). We didn’t linger and got the check quickly, once more tables started to become filled.
The wine list lacks creativity -- by the glass it's dominated by California wines with little to no creativity, not to mention their red wine was warm. The service lacks follow through -- it started out good, but it ended next to bad. It took us 20 minutes to get our check, and our server barely said thank you. The food lacked quality -- perhaps patrons like Edward's because it's been in the neighborhood for many years , and they are nostalgic, but honestly, this food was flat and barely OK. We will not be returning.
Really want to love this place but they need to leave the “Peter Luger” style of wait service in the past. For the $$$ the experience needs to be much better. The food was good not great. The meat was cooked well but had a lot of fat/gristle (42oz) - not good enough. The sides also need a lot of work. Small portions for the price. Lumpy mash potatoes is not good. Please invest in having proper steak cut fries instead of what you currently serve.
DON’T DO IT! There’s much better food in the area than Edward’s. If you’re looking for a high quality meal and great steak this isn’t the place for you. I don’t mind paying for a good meal, I enjoy a steakhouse at least once a month but this was below par. Steak was beyond fatty, lamb chops had zero seasoning, mash potatoes were instant, wedge salad had the cheapest store bought blue cheese on it. I love a wedge salad for the amazing blue cheese you get at a steak house but this was not good at all. I really had high hopes for this place especially considering they price themselves as any other steakhouse but I’ve had a better meal at a diner. Even my soda was flat!!

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and it was exceptional!!! They were super polite and the food came out fast and more importantly delicious! Told my husband I can easily go here myself and sit at the bar to enjoy a half bottle of wine and their truffled beef carpaccio. We had the baby lamb chops and veal chops. Everything was amazing!
Their chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream was a perfect sweet treat to end dinner.
If you’re unsure of where to go for a nice dinner out, go here. If you’re worried about covid, don’t fret bc they do everything right here. Proper social distancing and precautions were in place.

We ate at Edward's for our son's 16th birthday. Our son was thought his steak was underdone, and I would tend to agree. My husband, daughter and I were all very happy with our meals. We started off with the seafood sampler for two and salads - all were delicious. Cocktails were great and our waiter, Mario, was very attentive. They did a great job separating the tables with partitions to keep everyone COVID safe and the music was low enough that no one had to talk too loudly to carry on a conversation.
What an incredible restaurant. I think this is the best steakhouse in NJ the service was impeccable mind you our waiter was also bartending in between and never once felt neglected. Accommodating and delicious is a rare combination these days. Go here!
We were seated right away with proper social distancing. The wine list was extensive. Beet salad and escargot were very good appetizers. Entrees were prepared to order. Service was attentive
