Fabulous meal but unfortunately for guests it was our last meal there. Its closing permanently 12/31/19. Fortunately for Chef Pria he gets to retire and enjoy life. Thank you Chef for yeats of superb dining.
Have been dining at this FABULOUS restaurant for over 20 years! It is so sad that it is closing. Eduardo Pria, who is retiring, is not only an exceptional chef, but an exceptional person as well. His waitstaff, which have been with him for many years (especially "Paul"), have been most friendly & professional. Dining here is dining with friends. I wish Chef Pria & his employees great health, love & happiness in the coming years!
12/26/19-after 27 years he’s closing his doors on an upbeat ,we were lucky enough to get a reservation . Friday night, there’s cute little rooms with just 2 tables one was a nice room only maybe 8 people at one table .
We were given a cute little table in the main room on left, passed bar.
Paul our server is a seasoned server for sure the service was magnificent greatly appreciate it ,it made the whole evening great .
The cilantro soup was very nice I said I was gonna let my husband try it he separated it and brought out two bowls that was so special. There’s was clumps of cheese in the soup interesting.
We each received a hard roll and 2 tiny little corn bread muffins.
We then went with the shrimp appetizer over a bed of cream spinach, which was very good Gulf shrimp. I ordered the lamb chops you get three to an order and it came with a refried bean mole in husk, plus I don’t know what it was , but it was white. Great presentation since I told the waiter sshh ,yes I needed ketchup sorry everybody, I like it
Hubby had the stuffed Filet mignon it was huge it came with beautiful sliced carrots asparagus that were peeled and some zucchini spaghetti
it was all so nice . Our desserts were flan and a chocolate cake yummy.

I’m sorry for Paul because they’re closing on the 31st but it was a great experience glad we went back.
We were told that already a new Italian restaurant is coming in and should be open early 2020
I can’t post more than one picture so I’m only going to post my lamb chops I’m sorry you can see the meal so incredible from start to finish.
Enjoy your next Journey.
Best restaurant sorry to see it closed 12/31/19 will miss it and chef Eduardo
Tonight was our first night here. I’ve always wanted to go and never did. When I heard they were closing I had to go and I’m so glad we did. Everything was delicious.
Food was amazing. Really going to miss the creative dishes that you can’t get elsewhere.
Christmas Eve Dinner
Wanted to dine here before it closed forever. The food presented was very nice as well as complex and bland except for the cilantro soup which was delicious. In my opinion the effort that went into the plated entrees were ruined by the lack of basic seasoning. It's hard to understand why an experienced chef would not properly season dishes that are expensive. There was no salt nor pepper on the table and the waiter never returned to the table after delivering the food so we could not even ask for anything. We left our meals and were disappointed. There is no warning on the menu regarding the philosophy behind this. Proper balanced seasoning is necessary to bring out flavors. It is the bare minimum expected of a restaurant with such high accolades.
So happy we were able to dine at Eduardo’s before it closes. Superb.
Great service with very good suggestions by the waiter for selecting an appetizer and entrée. Food was excellently prepared, appealing and tasty.
It is sad that such a good restaurant and great chef will be calling it quits the end of this year.
Outstanding service and food
unfortunately they are closing for good at the end of December. :(
Everything was wonderful as always. My Almondcrusted Yellowtail was prefect, scallops, perfect, wine?? Perfect! I'm sad that they are closing due to retirement. This restaurant will be missed.
We wish everyone the best of luck. We've loved your spot over the years. Going out on top. That's great.
It’s unfortunate that this lovely gourmet restaurant is closing. Chef gave us complimentary champagne to celebrate 🥂
We have been patronizing this wondwrful restaurant for over ten years. It has been our go-to special occasion place. We are devastated to hear it is closing. Eduardo, you have fed us magnificently. You have earned a rest. Retire in good health.
Best place ever! Best chef ever! So sad it’s closing 12/31! Get there before it closes! have cilantro soup, carnitas, duck or strip steak!!Sabayon for dessert! Love Chef Eduardo!! Thank ypu for all the amazing dinners since 96
This wonderful restaurant is closing at the end of the year, so we made a last visit and (as always) enjoyed excellent food in a nice setting. So sad it won't be there for birthdays, anniversaries, etc., in the coming years.
Eduardo is retiring and we will miss this wonderful restaurant!
Excelente place, great restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere amazing. Highly recommended.
The food and service have never failed to be anything but excellent. Please give our thanks to Eduardo for such an enjoyable evening out. We wish him the very best in the next chapter of his life.

Our favorite restaurant over the past 7-8 years!. By far the most authentic taste of Mexican gourmet food we've found in Florida after 19yrs living here. Always our place for special occasions. This time was our 20yr Wedding Anniversary and once again, we could not have picked a better place.
Mix feelings about the upcoming closure of the restaurant. Thanks for all the great meals and moments we've experienced at your restaurant. All the best!
This restaurant is closing for good soon and it shows. The service was ridiculously slow. They clearly sold more tickets than they had seats. I took my wife and daughter/son-in-law there for my wife's birthday. To say we were disappointed would be a massive understatement. Despite the horrific service ( it took over an hour and 15 minutes to get our dinner after ordering), the waiter didn't offer to comp anything. We all had several drinks waiting for the food. I should have demanded that they take off the drinks anyway but I was so disgusted, i just wanted to get out of there. Like I said it's a good thing they are closing because we would never go back ever.
As always it is a place to go for outstanding international cuisine. Service is always five star. We split their cilantro soup as an appetizer. It is a must if you haven't tried it. We also shared a crepe appetizer that had amazing sauces. I went with the pork medallions and my friend had the chicken . Both were tops. We split a brownie with hazelnut ice cream for dessert. I don't know how many times we have been there but I can say we have never been disappointed.
The most amazing Mexican food I've had the pleasure to taste. Kindness the background music tasteful; the decor delightful and the lighting low. We will return to this restaurant...soon; we will also promote them to our friends and family.
My wife and I had dinner on a Saturday night and somewhat enjoyed the experience. The restaurant was crowded and somewhat noisy. We sat at our table for several minutes with no waiter, water, or a dining set up. I finally asked for another waiter to find our server which we did. Water arrived and eventually so did the bread.
I selected a bottle of mid-priced wine which was served without much fanfare by our waiter. We ordered our dinners and refilled our own wine glasses. The food was well done and certainly the best part of our experience.
For dessert, we ordered berries and sabayon which turned out to be more creme fresh then sabayon.
We have enjoyed dinner at Edwardoes several times and this was the most mediocre experience of all of our visits.
There are too many excellent restaurants in our neighborhood to be disappointed, but because of our previous good experiences, we will try again before going on to other choices.
We had not dined here in past two years, and were happy to see the service still impeccable! My husband and I enjoyed all of the dishes we shared. We started with the Cilantro soup which was even better than we remembered. Instead of ordering entree's, we decided to order three appetizers to share, in addition to the soup course. So many different flavors all being very enjoyable. We would highly recommend dining here. I would also mention it is fine dining with use of many different flavors from the Mexican culture.
Celebrating a new car.
Excellent dining experience. Food was very well prepared, and delicious! Everything from start to finish of the meal was done absolutely to the highest standard. My new favorite restaurant in the Fort Lauderdale area!
I definitely recommend this restaurant. It is a bit pricey but worthy. Too bad they do not open on Sunday.
I’ve been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. Our reservation was honored as soon as we arrived. Our server introduced himself and brought us water. We then ordered a bottle of wine beers for the guys. We then were told of the specials. All sounded spectacular! We ordered two appetizers; the Chile relleno and octopus. Both were delish! We all ordered something different for dinner so we could taste several dishes. We ordered the LI Duck, Lamb Chops, Almond Crusted Grouper, and Steak. Holy cow! Everything was beyond great! We also had dessert and coffee. Even the coffee was tasty. Highly highly highly recommend!
Our experience was alright but not great. We won't go back.
Small quaint restaurant with really good food.
This is an outstanding restaurant. Everything about it is superb. The food is excellent and the wait staff is very courteous and extremely attentive.
We had our anniversary celebration here and loved every minute. They gave us an intimate table, great service and delicious food. Their wine list was also terrific!
Incredible food,Impeccable service, authentic ambiance, a Perfect Evening. Thank You
Incredible food, warm and welcoming environment and attentive service. Will definitely be back!
Such a cute amazing place. Loved the ambience and the food is to die for. Had the best octopus appetizer and my favorite cilantro soup. It’s slightly on the spicy side but loved that flavor. Service is great too!!!
Unfortunately, Eduardo seems to have regressed. We have been going to Eduardo's for more than 10 years, but unfortunately the food has become manufactured marginality. Yes it was good, but the WOW factor has been lossed. The blue crab cakes, which we loved, we're like a frozen crab cake meatloaf. The lamb and the branzino were outstanding, but after being served frozen crab cake meatloaf, our dinner was ruined. I'm sorry to say this, but we will not be back until Eduardo takes action and returns to the excellence we all fell in love with.
Outstanding service by Paul.
All aspects of the meal were delicious.
A wonderful restaurant that understands what people want and provides it.
