Eduardo de San Angel Ratings and Reviews
Excellent meal and excellent service from Robert. We had the cilantro soup (special), swordfish (special) and duck. The duck was one of the best my husband has ever had (and he loves duck). Would recommend this place without hesitation. In a little strip mall so too easy to overlook. We can’t wait to return!
8:45 PM Reservation and we were one of the only tables in the restaurant. We were rushed through every course of the meal and had the lights turned off on us by the end. So much for a relaxed dining experience. Just close earlier or don’t bother being open at all. Worst treatment I can recall in recent times from a place the has great reviews and was selected based on this. Shocking.
My Relatives were in town and heard of the restaurant and I told them they had to go as it is my favorite place in Florida. We went and everyone went crazy over the food. The flavors are amazing and the duck is outstanding. Great service and very quaint. Don't be fooled by the Strip Plaza location, the place is a must try. I had brought 26 people one time for a business dinner as I knew it would mean job security.
We have dined at Eduardo de San Angel for approximately 12 - 15 years and have never been disappointed. We are always recommending this restaurant to our friends and business acquaintances. Wayne and Paul take very good care of us in the dining rooms and Chef Eduardo Pria's food always wows! We trust their wine selections and heed their advice on what to order from their specials or the regular menu. Be sure to make this your next dining experience.
One of the best restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. Although categorized as Mexican cuisine, this is not a burrito/taco shop. This is fine dining. They are known for their cilantro soup. I recommend asking for a half portion, just so you can sample more of their menu. The pork dishes are excellent, as well as the lamb and duck. Listen closely when the Specials are described - some of my best meals here have been off of this menu. I can’t review dessert since I’m always full by the time we get there. Perfect restaurant for a quiet date or anniversary.
I have been going to Eduardo De San Angel since it opened. It is the finest restaurant in all of South Florida. The food is outstanding the service is unlike no other it is a first class restaurant.
Thank you Eduardo for all the years of your finest food!!!
Waiter was overbearing and insistent on pushing drinks on us.
Food was poor, angel hair pasta was way over cooked mush, shrimp had no flavor. My companions skirt steak was inedible grizzle.
Had high hopes for a birthday celebration and left Sadly disappointed
Arrived, presented Groupon, told they would take it at the end, ordered, ate, check was presented, gave credit card and Groupon as instructed, and the waiter returned to inform us that the Groupon cannot be used. When asked why he didn't tell us he said he didn't know. Manager on duty could have cared less. We paid $140.00 for Mexican fare including a 20% tip. Never again !
First of all the remodeling job on the restaurant was done beautifully esp the beautiful brickwork and new art. The Cilantro soup was an exciting taste experience and with the surprise of the cheese ball handmade that was an outstanding addition to the lively flavors The shrimp on a.bed of Spinach was delicious as well with exciting favors. Can't wait to go back.
This place has been a favorite of mine for over fifteen years. Hard to beat the food. Sad about the new LED, quasi spotlight bright white lighting. One of the great things besides the food and service was always the amazing (flattering) lighting... how about soft white, or, bring back the candelabra look? Love everything else!!!!
