A hidden gem in South Florida! They are always very gracious! Very authentic food, very fresh and tasty! Well worth the drive in the Ft Lauderdale Area.

This is by far the best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! As a foodie you will enjoy the exceptional blends of taste and herbs with local fish. The steak is remarkable and the ravioli stuffed with black bean sauce will make you go back again and again...oh an the deserts...heaven on a plate! Eduardo is extending the Crave menu for the month of October...walk, run or fly to get a seat!

Not as good as I remembered it. The lamb was pale outside and not grilled enough. In fact it looked broiled instead. The pepper fish was on the dry side. I don’t think we will be going back. Something has changed.

In 25 years I have never been disappointed. Eduardo is an amazing chef and his work is a true dining experience. Top on the list for Fort Lauderdale! Already made another reservation to return next week!

My fourth time in one year at this restaurant. It will not be my last. Never disappoints. Excellent in all respects. Appetizers, pork, shrimp, yellow tail, yellow fin ahi tuna, all delicious...hard to choose.

We went to try their Crave menu for the month of September. The bread and corn bread they serve is so warm and fresh right out of the oven so good! The appetizers were good but nothing great. We had the eggplant appetizer and what seemed like a taco with pork and carnitas. Then we had the beef tenderloin tips which were excellent and to finish off our dinner we had the decadent chocolate marquise with a shot of rumchata that was also very good. The place is very romantic and intimate and the service was great

Outstanding as usual. Everything is delicious from appetizer to entree to desert. Great wine selection as well. It’s a must try for dinner. Not cheap Mexican food, upscale and worth the price.

The online write ups were very encouraging and we were looking forward to aunthentic Mexico City cuisine. The meals were luke warm and lacked in flavor. The pork chop tasted like it was watered down bbq sauce.
The cilantro soup was ok but after the meal ended up being there he highlight of dinner. I ordered the egg plant. The sauce was bubbling when delivered but it was clearly prepare in advance as when I bit into it, the sauce around the eggplant was cold and the eggplant itself was rubbery. We didn’t say anything at the time because the server was so enthusiastic about anything we ordered I felt I would kill his good mood

No chips for you! Forget the American/Mex regulars, this is Mexican fine dining. Authentic sauces, condiments, breads and a menu with the unexpected. The blue crab appetizer en papillote was tasty (if a bit spicy-send my girlfriend scurrying). The cilantro soup well seasoned and delicious. My pork chops came with a lovely maple glaze (maple trees in Mexico?) but could have been carmelized a bit more. The skirt steak was enormous and tastefully prepared. A recommended Spanish wine did well against the onslaught of flavors and spices. We were one of only two couples on a slow summer night...and were glad we chose it over a busier weekend. This place has been here 25 years, just my second visit but a solid pick for out of the ordinary Mexican cuisine.

We have been dining here for 30 years. The restaurant has exceptional food. Their service is unrivaled. The restaurant is quiet, pretty, and special. I can't say enough great things!

Great food! Not what I expected from the decor. Amazing dishes, well presented and flavorful. If I had to criticize the venue, my only regret is the look of the place. Bright colored walls, plastic plants, neon lights over the kitchen, etc. It’s decorated as if it was a Mexican taco restaurant. it is not! The dishes were Mexican inspired, yes, but you won’t find tortilla chips here. Bathrooms also need renovation. I laughter out loud.

However, the food and service are great! Worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for the past 11 years for different special occasions and each time the food reminds us why we love this place. The food is authentic and so good that you will want to come back to explore more great dishes. Try any fish entree, seafood, and all chef's specials! I love the staff and this place! You won't be disappointed.

Eduardo de San Angel delivers unique recipes that are amazingly flavorful and creative. Every item is terrifically presented. Service is very reliable and you never feel rushed to finish your meal. A local gem that always delivers an excellent dining experience.

We celebrated Father's Day at Dad's favorite place. We always have excellent, professional, formal service at Eduardo's. New waiter to us was like a waiter at a diner. Reached across our faces to serve, was rushed and not professional in his demeanor.
Food was very good, as usual. Next time we will specify our waiter preference.

Have been going for here for years a d the food and service have always been excellent. Went there with another couple for dinner. $400 later (which I have no problem paying for a good meal) but as soon as we finished dessert at 10:04 PM on a friday evening the managercame to us and the other tables and told us the cleaning crew was there and we needed to leave NOW. This was the first time our friends have ever been there and we were all at disbelief. While outside other people leaving were saying the same.

My husband and I had been to this restaurant a year or so ago and were disappointed. We decided to give it another shot recently. We had the Cilantro Soup and a Calamari Salad for appetizers, both of which were decent. For main course we had Pan Seared Beef Tenderloin Filet Mignon and a daily special Ahi Tuna over Pasta. Both of these dishes were not good...….I asked the waiter for a medium rare temp on the filet, and he explaind that it was stuffed and was prepared medium.....It is difficult to think the meat was Filet as it was tough on the outside, sliced very thin and cooked through. In any case, it was not remarkable at all.....The Ahi Tuna was sub standard tuna, over pasta with an oil base sauce. No real flavor and the lower grade Ahi once again gave us a very poor impression of Edwardo De San Angel. We purchased tuna the following day at Whole Foods. We seared and served over mixed greens......Amazing quality Tuna, Light years better than what was served to us the night before...…...Ahi is a very simple dish to prepare, its ALL about the quality of the Tuna and what was served to us was not what you would expect at a fine dining establishment. For a restaurant with such amazing reviews, you could wonder if this was an "off" night, but our memories from our first try there was similar...…….We wont be going back...……

Eduardo de San Angel has been our favorite restaurant for 30+ years. The food is creative and magnificent. The service is seamless, friendly, helpful, and very attentive. The chef prepares the food elegantly and consistently delicious. Good for anytime, but especially romantic and glorious for special occasions.

We had a marvelous time at EDUARDO DE SAN ANGEL despite our waiter rushing the service a bit. It took a while to warm to his hasty hurried style in such a lovely upscale dining atmosphere. The Food was exceptional - the first course soup was a definite "WOW" flavor and uniqueness. The highlight entree for our group was the crispy Duck and the Toasted almond Yellow tail fish. We did not partake in dessert.

Nice Quaint Atmosphere, staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was definitely polished take on Mexican fare similar to what you would find in upscale Mexico. A must do for food aficionados.
