Eduardo de San Angel
My wife and I had dinner on a Saturday night and somewhat enjoyed the experience. The restaurant was crowded and somewhat noisy. We sat at our table for several minutes with no waiter, water, or a dining set up. I finally asked for another waiter to find our server which we did. Water arrived and eventually so did the bread.
I selected a bottle of mid-priced wine which was served without much fanfare by our waiter. We ordered our dinners and refilled our own wine glasses. The food was well done and certainly the best part of our experience.
For dessert, we ordered berries and sabayon which turned out to be more creme fresh then sabayon.
We have enjoyed dinner at Edwardoes several times and this was the most mediocre experience of all of our visits.
There are too many excellent restaurants in our neighborhood to be disappointed, but because of our previous good experiences, we will try again before going on to other choices.
We had not dined here in past two years, and were happy to see the service still impeccable! My husband and I enjoyed all of the dishes we shared. We started with the Cilantro soup which was even better than we remembered. Instead of ordering entree's, we decided to order three appetizers to share, in addition to the soup course. So many different flavors all being very enjoyable. We would highly recommend dining here. I would also mention it is fine dining with use of many different flavors from the Mexican culture.
Celebrating a new car.
Excellent dining experience. Food was very well prepared, and delicious! Everything from start to finish of the meal was done absolutely to the highest standard. My new favorite restaurant in the Fort Lauderdale area!
I definitely recommend this restaurant. It is a bit pricey but worthy. Too bad they do not open on Sunday.
I’ve been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. Our reservation was honored as soon as we arrived. Our server introduced himself and brought us water. We then ordered a bottle of wine beers for the guys. We then were told of the specials. All sounded spectacular! We ordered two appetizers; the Chile relleno and octopus. Both were delish! We all ordered something different for dinner so we could taste several dishes. We ordered the LI Duck, Lamb Chops, Almond Crusted Grouper, and Steak. Holy cow! Everything was beyond great! We also had dessert and coffee. Even the coffee was tasty. Highly highly highly recommend!
Our experience was alright but not great. We won't go back.
Small quaint restaurant with really good food.
This is an outstanding restaurant. Everything about it is superb. The food is excellent and the wait staff is very courteous and extremely attentive.
We had our anniversary celebration here and loved every minute. They gave us an intimate table, great service and delicious food. Their wine list was also terrific!
Incredible food,Impeccable service, authentic ambiance, a Perfect Evening. Thank You
Incredible food, warm and welcoming environment and attentive service. Will definitely be back!
Such a cute amazing place. Loved the ambience and the food is to die for. Had the best octopus appetizer and my favorite cilantro soup. It’s slightly on the spicy side but loved that flavor. Service is great too!!!
Unfortunately, Eduardo seems to have regressed. We have been going to Eduardo's for more than 10 years, but unfortunately the food has become manufactured marginality. Yes it was good, but the WOW factor has been lossed. The blue crab cakes, which we loved, we're like a frozen crab cake meatloaf. The lamb and the branzino were outstanding, but after being served frozen crab cake meatloaf, our dinner was ruined. I'm sorry to say this, but we will not be back until Eduardo takes action and returns to the excellence we all fell in love with.
Outstanding service by Paul.
All aspects of the meal were delicious.
A wonderful restaurant that understands what people want and provides it.
This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Eduardo de San Angel. We love the ambiance and the intimate setting, the food is creative and very authentic Mexican. Mauriccio (I hope I spelled it correctly) was our waiter - friendly and very attentive. It is a great restaurant for a special occasion - we happened to celebrate our wedding anniversary this time. We will be back.
First time to restaurant with friends. Quality and presentation of food was excellent. All 5 of us enjoyed our meal and would go again.
Great service/food etc. Wonderful Birthday Dinner ❣
Delicious food. Excellent service.
Been dining here for over 20 years! Always the best food & service! Eduardo Pria is a culinary god!
Our firs time.. the food was amazing the service and staff top notch.. my new favorite restaurant
Three of us went for dinner & once again I was not disappointed. The food is exceptional - truly the best, authentic Mexican food in Fort Lauderdale. Service is relaxed, but very attentive. All in all a wonderful dining experience. Will definitely be back & highly recommend this restaurant.
Cilantro soup is delicious.
Have been to Eduardo de San Angel several times and each time has been wonderful. The food is exciting and unique and prepared to perfection. The service is top-notch!
As always it was a spectacular meal. We split the cilantro soup and a crepe appetizer and were pleased with both. We love that soup and always get it. The crepe is probably the best thing I have ever had there. will definitely order it again. We both had fish prepared perfectly. My pan seared crusted sea bass was delicious and my friend loved his branzino. We look forward to returning soon.
The restaurant was closed.!!!!!!😡How will you make up for this????
OUTSTANDING! OUTSTANDING! OUTSTANDING! Amazing creative cuisine!
We are local to Ft. Lauderdale and have never been to Eduardo de San Angel. If I had to make a list of Pros and Cons, I would not be able to list any Cons. The server was extremely knowledgable about the food, flavors, and preparation. You must try the Cilantro soup, shrimp ceviche, carnitas, lamb chops, and duck. The food is infused with unique flavors and includes sauces like spicy guava syrup, a green tomatillo like no other, and a smoked chipotle chile sauce that completed each bite. I cannot wait to go back!
We visit for special occasions and have never been disappointed.
Date night with the wife. Excellent experience the food is amazing and the service was exceptional. Must try the Cilantro soup.
Small intimate dining rooms. Fresh, well seasoned, unique entrees, portions very generous. Friendly helpful wait staff. Will go back for sure
Great food. Not your normal fare! Very enjoyable experience.
2nd visit, which was as good as the first. Fresh and well prepared food. The dishes were not your typical Mexican fare, but more traditional Mexican fine dining. Great fish dishes and the cilantro soup is delicious. Small wine list, but good selections at very reasonable prices. Very nice ambiance.
We are repeat customers of this restaurant for about 25 years due to Chef Eduardo consistently putting out dishes made with high-quality food ingredients cooked with a balance of Flavors to perfection.
We have taken many different Food Enthusiasts here to sample a variety of dishes that are prepared with mild spices imparting lots of flavor . We have never once in over two Decades been disappointed.
Our favorites that we order each time are Spicy Black Bean soup (best ever), Poblano Chili stuffed with Blue Crab and The Yellowtail crusted in Almonds, Thyme & also The Black Peppercorn crusted Snapper.
If you like Flavorful Food we urge you to experience Eduardo De Sanangel (a hidden gem by the Sea) at your earliest convenience and tell them Billy Wisdom from WisdomWorld Inc. sent you.
This was my second visit to this restaurant. I am not sure why I waited so long between visits. It was simply spectacular from beginning to end. The outside is not appealing. However, inside is quaint and lovely. The food is not your typical Mexican fare. They have deliciously unusual dishes. We ordered the tuna appetizer (yes, tuna in a Mexican restaurant). It was beyond fabulous. We then ordered their toasted almond snapper and the duck for dinner. I have no words to describe how good it was. We also shared a bottle of wine. We were never rushed and enjoyed every minute. Highly highly highly recommend.
Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. The food and service was very good but the ambiance is a bit rough and dated with some harsh overhead lighting. If you don't care about the ambiance, go for just the food. For me, ambiance is very important and I can find good food at many places so I probably won't return.
The food and service at Eduardo are exceptional. The seasoning and blending of ingredients is unique. You feel as if you are in a fabulous restaurant in Mexico. I highly recommend it!
It has been 14 years since we were last here and it’s still as wonderful as a we remember. Great dining experience.
It was first class! The service was outstanding and the food was a 10! We will most definitely be back. The owner is present and passionate about his Casa!
This restaurant is always amazing. Every dish is delicious
