Edoko Sushi Ratings and Reviews
This is our second time to try this place and we don't understand why it gets good reviews. The Sushi is awful. We went for Valentine's Day and the Valentine's Day special had a garlic cracker on it... I think they were trying to be Innovative, but it was a complete fail. They didn't put real slices of fish on top of the sushi rolls either. It was more like fish paste. We will not be returning for a third time.
Very well decorated an modern atmosphere with a comfortable ambiance for a nice lunch with friends. Noise level is low so easy to talk while enjoying the wide selection of sushi and other dishes. Great experience and will be back again. Price was very reasonable too.
We had the Green Hulk, Paradise and Anaconda rolls. Very tasty. We also had sashimi; Tako, Unagi and Ebi along with 'Wandering Poet' saki. Typically, we'll test a sushi restaurants on how well the octopus is prepared. Many times, its over-cooked and rubbery. Edoko prepared the Tako just right. Excellent. We enjoyed our meal and will return. Our waiter was extremely attentive and made the meal very enjoyable.
Haven’t been here in a long time and had forgotten how good the menu was. Nice atmosphere and quiet. The food was delish. The tower had just the right amount of heat. I enjoyed the duck with roasted carrots and mashed potatoes but my son had sushi and enjoyed every bite. Prices were very reasonable for sushi and the surroundings were elegant. Service was top notch. Will be back more often since it is not overpriced and menu is good for sushi lovers and non sushi fans.
When we eat sushi, we have always gone there since they opened years ago. Food is always very good. This last visit, the service was below par for anywhere. I always tip 20% plus, but did not this time as the service was so poor - sadly I am the one that feels guilty for giving a 15% tip....sometimes wish my conscience would allow me to do even less when warranted....and this last time it definitely did.
It was my Wife’s birthday and we had an amazing time. Our waiter (Andrew) was awesome n had an answer for any question we had about the food/drink menu. We have been coming to Edoko for at least 3 years and have never been disappointed. So Much appreciation for making my wife’s birthday dinner an experience. Keep up the great work!
