My son and I had the cheese toast which was incredible. Then he had the Shrimp pasta dish and I had the vegetarian option of sweet potato smothered in vegees~ both were delicious! Our server was perfectly attentive and polite and anticipated our every need. The cocktails were very tasty as well. All in all, a great experience at Ronin! We will be back.

We went to Brazos Proper Texas Kitchen on a day when there was not a home game at TAMU. This restaurant is hidden in the Hilton Hotel & Conference center. It was very quiet. Service was pleasant and playful. The steak sandwich had great smoky flavor. For a casual night our bill was a bit high compared to if we had gone to "a burger joint". The atmosphere is lovely. This is a hidden gem, unfortunately. On game day I image it would be packed. Worth a visit.
