Appetizers were the best part, especially the octopus. Salmon was dry and salty

We had fabulous food at lunch and then again at dinner. The Hi Wire local craft beers are awesome with their food selections.

My husband and I had reservations for dinner at Edison last Thursday evening. We had a table by the window and a beautiful view of the terrace and grounds. I had the Shrimp and Grits and my husband had the Hanger Steak— both were excellent! Honestly, we are still talking about the steak! For dessert we shared the peach tart and the Snickerdoodles. Those Snickerdoodles were sooo delicious! We even took the leftovers back to our room for a late night snack. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, he patiently answered our questions about things to do in the area and gave done great suggestions. We loved our experience at Edison!

The ambiance is worth the trip. Service was outstanding. Everyone enjoyed their entree, especially the shrimp and grits.

Nothing bad to say about anything. Staff was great. Got us seated before our reservation. Food was incredible and not overpriced. The view was killer. Would definitely recommend and go back

Sat us in open air area. Too chilly but were kind enough to move us in. Much better but because of the move didn’t get to enjoy the view.

Watching the sunset on the patio was awesome. The food was terrific and our server Valentina was very attentive.

My pear salad with blackened salmon was incredible and my husband thought the ribeye was exceptional. Our server was so personable and helpful. And what a view!

A perfect location for celebrating my wife's birthday. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience was just what we wanted. Add to that delicious meals. We can't remember a more overall pleasant experience.

Wait staff was perfect, I requested a table to see the sunset and they did a fantastic job, and the meal was fantastic. I love this place and will always return whether I a staying at the end or elsewhere in town!

This is a great place to come with kids if you’re looking for top rate dining with a view. We brought our two well behaved children (aged 8 and 10). Unfortunately, no one else did and the other kids rouined the ambiance. It was like being at an Applebee’s. One family’s 3 year old was running around the restaurant which I totally get but the parents did nothing to stop the child except to vanish him and his older brother to outside the restaurant by themselves after their meal. A high school aged child threw a cup of water over the balcony. One kid left their football in the middle of the floor where a waiter could trip. Seriously folks, if you can afford the Grove Park, you can afford to buy some class or hire a nanny for your unruly kids. The food was amazing and my kids liked their meals too!!

Great service. Great food and drinks. Prices are about what I expect for a resort property of this level. My family and I will eat there again.

Easter dinner in the open air. Absolutely stunning view. We started with the grilled octopus and charcuterie. Also had the bison meatloaf and the local Joyce Farms chicken with cauliflower, mushrooms & kale. Divine!!! Finished it off with the peach sable breton and the Black Forest chocolate lava cake. Service was on point - It’s GPI. Bravo!

A perfect Anniversary dinner! Phenomenal food, tasty drinks, a gorgeous view, and a super sweet waitress who brought us cake to celebrate the night. We are already planning our next trip back!

My wife is a “local” who resided on Sunset Terrace for years and always enjoyed visits and dining at Grove Park Inn. Unfortunately, since we have been married and this property has become an Omni Hotel property, the service and food quality has gone so far “south”, that we will most likely quit dining there during our visits from Charleston. Our latest dinner experience was absolutely horrible. We waited over one hour for our meal, a simple hamburger, which ended up looking and tasting like something from McDonald’s!
Management needs to straighten this place up quickly before you lose your supportive local clientele, who are already becoming acutely aware of the declining quality.

Our server Alyssa was lovely & the food was as beautiful as the view! The evening was absolutely perfect.

Alyssa was the BEST! Attentive, personable, efficient. We all commented on how much we liked her. The food was excellent, drinks were delicious and the view is outstanding.

Very good food with a spectacular view. The server seemed to have some friends at another table so he was slow getting back to us & we had to “flag down” other servers. A minor annoyance that didn’t ruin our evening. We will be back.

Burger missing bacon; overcooked. Rushed out since we were last diners. Shrimp and grits were delicious.

Edison at sunset is very hard to beat. The views are incredible. The food was prepared well and everyone liked what they ordered. I felt like the price was fair for what you get as well. The staff was friendly and we had a great dinner. No complaints from us!

If you're looking for a flight of beers, a glass of wine or a specialty cocktail, Edison's is the place! Sit by the fire, or enjoy a table by the window or outside, when the weather permits, and watch the sun set over the mountains.
We chose the meat and cheese charcuterie board which was a meal in itself! Three different deli meats, four kinds of cheese, French bread, focaccia, raspberry jam, honey, mustard, pickles, olives, and pickled pearl-sized peppers.
Our waiter, Cody, was extremely attentive to our needs. Wish we could stay another night!

This restaurant has a beautiful view of the mountains but seems somewhat dingy and run down. Our table was sticky it seemed like the lacquer finish was really old. A server (not ours) spilled a bottle of champagne a foot away from me and just left the spill on the floor... we were there for over an hour and it was still there when I left. The music was 70s and disco not fitting what I think of as a Gastro pub ambience. Our server was friendly and helpful. The red wine list and champagne list are both really thin… Not one Napa Cabernet on the list at all. We had reservations for later on in the week I think I’ll cancel those, disappointing.

Wonderful experience. Staff was very friendly and professional. Food was extremely good. I highly recommend the venison, it was unbelievable!

A little disappointed at the quality of food vs prices. Guy who brought food to table both days slammed the food down inappropriately. Otherwise waiters awesome!
