Edison - Omni Grove Park Inn
Christmas dinner with family
The Edison restaurant is an elevated sports bar theme with a more refined take on your typical bar food. Enjoy casual dining at the beautiful Grove Park with all the ambiance of the grand historic hotel!
Wonderful food next to the fireplace with a beautiful view of the mountains! Love everything about Edison!!
This is an annual girl day for us and we always enjoy lunch at the Edison. Our waitstaff was especially accommodating. His name was David. He went above and beyond to serve us well. We LOVE it there!!! Thanks!!
Great food and ambiance, unique lighting with mountain or TV views, your choice. And accommodating to kids.
The waiter was very friendly, the soup was excellent but our ribeye was overcooked. The manager was apologetic & took 1/2 off our entree. They brought us a dessert for free, which was sweet since we were celebrating our anniversary. Would definitely try again.
We had lunch at the Grove Park Inn during a visit to the Biltmore in Asheville. Good food, wonderful service (Erin was great!) and a beautiful view. We’ll be going back!
Food and service was good.
We had made reservations a couple weeks before but still we were seated in a back corner next to a black curtain that had been drawn across part of the restaurant. Behind the curtain were loud fans running, blowing the curtain. They said something about having refinished part of the floor and were drying it. Was sad that our experience was compromised by this. Seems like they should have not used those tables during that time.
In addition, the chairs at our table seemed broken down and were so low, relative to the table, that two of our party asked for cushions to sit on. Not sure what was up with that ;maybe we were at the dud table. lol
Glad the food was good.
Our server was very good. The food was good but not outstanding.
Wonderful ambiance, food and service! Trout and turkey wings were delicious!
Very friendly staff and great food - very inventive preparation... the pork tenderloin was delicious.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Tim, was fantastic! He was friendly but professional, and had great recommendations for what to order.
Very good food with a very good waiter. My only complaint was that it was very dim lighting for my poor eyesight so the waiter turned the lights up enough for me to see all right. We always enjoy this restaurant when we make the trip to see the Gingerbread House Competition at the Grove Park Inn. The food is flavorful, nicely cooked and the waiters are delightful.
Very rewarding lunch. Staff were very professional and accommodating. Comfortable chairs, great tasting food, and efficient reservation system as we were seated right on time even when very busy. Pricing was premium, but felt they earned it!
We ate here for dinner the night we checked in to the Grove Park Inn because it was the only place serving dinner food late (we sat down at 9:15pm). Overall great but a little overpriced. Our server Davve was great, the ambiance was nice especially with the large fireplace when you walk in, but if we wanted to watch a game there were plenty of TVs there to do so. We ordered beer flights which was plenty enough to last us the whole meal & give us a variety to try some of the different featured craft beers. The trout dip & goat cheese fritters were delicious appetizers. We had the bison meatloaf & Farmer Ann’s salad for entrees & both were full of so much flavor & good-sized portions. Good choice for dinner any time but especially if your night is running late!
Excellent service staff. Food was very good. Liked our quieter dining area.
My expensive steak that I ordered was very fatty.
I couldn't even chew it. The waiter volunteered to take it off of the bill.
The hostesses were just fine ... they knew what they were doing and did their job quite fine. The waiter missed the boat - Patti ordered a bowl of soup, but was served a cup. She did not receive a spoon to eat the soup with. It could have been warmer. My libation and meal was excellent.
Food is over priced and taste is average. There are really no other choices if you want casual fare at the Grove Park.
We don’t go to the Grove Park for the food.
I had ordered an ipa to go with my burger and the food was delivered and I still hadn’t gotten it. The waiter apologized and went back to get it and said they were changing kegs. He should have asked me if I wanted to wait or if their was something else on tap I might want to order.
When your restaurant has an incredible view, excellent service and delicious food, how can your experience be anything other than superior! Well done Edison!
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal!!
The atmosphere was amazing!!
Can't wait to go back!!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere, happy thanksgiving!

The salmon dish was delicious.
Jason was great
Great food, efficient service, fair price. Wonderful views.
Weekend get-away gifted to us by my husbands company. Great choice. Would come back to Edison even if not staying at The Grove Park Inn
Nice restaurant good food good service and a beautiful view!
I made reservations to meet two friends for my birthday and requested a table with a view. They were excellent, kind and very personable! It made my trip one of relaxed, delightful and delicious experience. I'd do it again tomorrow if I lived nearby! Thank you, Edison staff!

We ate lunch there on the first day of Gingerbread houses display. Beautiful view of mountains, friendly server, fast service, delicious foods. Hamburgers were delicious, grilled cheese sandwich-salad-and tomato soup (served in a cute coffee cup) were yummy, and salmon and salad were scrumptious. Shared delightful deviled eggs. Decorated for Christmas. Memorable time!
