   Our server Debby was extremely kind and accommodating. The entire staff did an amazing job, including the manager Trey who was working the room right along with the wait staff. Excellent experience and food.

   Our waiter Edward was amazing. He recommended food we had never tried before, and it was all delicious. Elk loin, tomato brulee and scallops. He even took a picture for us outside to capture the sunset. It was our anniversary dinner , and he made it special.

   We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Edgewood where we were married 22 years before. Our table was lovely with a gorgeous view of the lake. We both had the French onion soup which was delicious. My husband had the Prime steak duo and I had the Brandt Farms filet. Both entrees were done to perfection. Our dessert was to die for and being served on a "round" of wood with Happy Anniversary in chocolate was so unique. The serving staff, especially Yvonne, took very good care of us making our evening extra special.

    Edgewood restaurant was upscale in food and service. Its biggest asset is the view. The staff was very attentive too. Would highly recommend.

    The Edgewood dining room was splendid, aided by the fact that every table has a shoreline view of Lake Tahoe. The service was outstanding, warm, engaging, and perfectly timed. Nice wine list.

    Edgewood Tahoe is like “ paradise on earth”. Everything inside the Edgewood compound is first class. All restaurants in Edgewood is above and beyond the other fine restaurants in Tahoe. Steaks are juicy and sumptuous. Service is par excellence .

    Food, service and view was amazing. Highly recommend this if your in South Lake Tahoe and looking for a nice dinner. Nancy our server was absolutely amazing with our toddler! Everyone that works their was so nice and helpful definitely coming back.

    Terribly disappointing! From the poor and awkward service, to the bland food with odd sides and no seasoning, we really do not recommend this restaurant. This was the third time we tried Edgewood and it always underdelivers. For the price point, we were expecting an exceptional dinner. The views of the lake are the only positive for this place.

    This is a very high end restaurant. Our server was excellent. I had the filet Mignon, which was cooked perfectly. Appetizers were also excellent. It's definitely a button up shirt kinda place. Which I like from time to time. Not sure it blew me away to a point where I'd come back. But it's definitely a nice place to visit. The views were amazing. I did make reservations over a month ago and requested a table by the window. They couldn't accommodate as every table was already seated.

    We dined at the Edgewood Restaurant last year and it was delicious so we were anticipating a positive repeat experience. Unfortunately, the food this time around was bland. The quail and elk loin were small and dry. Very disappointed I had such good memories about the food last year. Fast forward so disappointed!

    First time for us, and we loved it! We’ll be back for sure. Off season is nice because it wasn’t crowded. Elk and Filet mignon were excellent! Fantastic view, and servers were super friendly and prompt. Great experience.

    Overall, this was a disappointing experience. We chose this restaurant for a special occasion, based upon reputation, menu, wine menu & location. When we arrived, our table was ready. The view was amazing but the sun was setting & there weren’t any blinds. The glare at our table was unbearable. We asked to move over one table, but we’re told that wasn’t possible because the other server would be over-full with a large party. We asked if we could go to the bar until the sun set some more, which was granted. An hour later, we returned to the table, still there was a glare. Again we asked to be moved, now it was granted, but the experience was frustrating & messed with the timing of our food & wine experience. Allison, our waitress, was amazing. She truly cared about our experience & her food recommendations were on point. We are the type of family to order several bottles of wine, apps, salad/soup, entree, desert & after dinner drinks. This was not possible due to timing, especially because we were visiting from a different time zone & it was much later our time. We had some apps, no wine (because we had been drinking at the bar for an hour), & entrees. We sent back the meat entrees because they were too salty &/ sweet (& we hate to send food back). By the time dessert rolled around, we were not feeling it, which was sad because we were there for a birthday. While this may be the best restaurant in the area, it was substandard for those do food & wine as an experience (& even travel for it). Sad to say, we would not return.

    Had a most amazing evening watching the sunset over Tahoe while being truly cared for by Alicia who was so incredible that I wanted to invite her to sit with us. She knows the menu, the wines and was incredibly personable. Highly recommend this place and Alicia if you are so lucky.
