The contemporary menu marries fresh modern cuisine that embraces the season and region. Mere feet from water’s edge, the dining room’s sweeping wooden archways and vaulted ceilings sets the stage for the spectacle of the flamed sunsets as they paint the skies.

Because of the intimate nature of the Edgewood Restaurant, the maximum party size for indoor dining is 6. We also cannot split tables larger than 6. Multiple reservations made by the same party will not be honored.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with excellent staff our server was polite including others walking pass. I wanted a photo with my partner and with no hesitation one gal with blonde hair blue eyes understood the assignment and snapped away! The food was delicious, we would come back and would consider the hotel.

We arrived half an hour early for our reservation and decided to have a pre dinner cocktail. Andrew was probably the best bartender we've ever had. We only chatted with him for a short while, but that was enough. My wife had some allergies and before we even placed a drink order, he had whipped up a concoction that instantly helped. He also provided excellent recommendations for drink combinations and we chatted a lot about our travels. When it was time for dinner, Edward was amazing. he knew the menu from memory and was able to provide recommendations with us just providing what kind of things we felt like. Along with excellent conversation, he was always coming by to check on us. We will come back here every time we come to Tahoe now, because of Andrew and Edward.

When year after year this restaurant has served up an extraordinary experience, having a good meal is a disappointment. No more tasting menu with paired wine; no more amuse bouche; no more after dinner truffles; no complimentary anniversary creme Brule. Yes, a complimentary glass of prosecco for our anniversary was presented. Filet mignon with strip steak was cooked a bit too rare. But the quality was excellent. The branzino which my wife had was very good, but we've had better in Carmel (at The Pocket). The highlight was the duck risotto appetizer. The panna cotta was not good. Wines by the glass were good but expensive. They are about to shut down for an extensive remodel, so perhaps that's the reason for an underwhelming meal. We still plan another visit next year.

Our experience was superb from the moment we made reservations. The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. My partner had a vegeterian dish and I had the Elk Loin. Cooked perfectly. We got a desert to go and it was amazing. Thanks to everyone involved.

We had high hopes for our meal out but were disappointed. Two out of four entrés we ordered were unsatisfactory. Meat ordered medium-well came raw with searing. Tomato Burre salad was rustic. You cut your own overly-dressed limp leaves and ball of tomato. Bronzino dish was excellent; tasty and satisfying. Service was attentive and view was stunning.
