Amazing service and we tried the wings which were delish!!
Food was delicious and staff friendly. Ambiance was a bit all over the place, in that we were given a table with broken chairs which we wrangled ourselves. Also, they turned the lights completely off for several minutes on our section of the building. Food and wine made up for it, though.
From A-Z our experience was perfect. Our server/Wine expert/Food Guru, Sami was very knowledgeable with food and wine pairings and she went out of her way to take care of my wife and I. Reservation recommended. The duck tacos, The Salmon Oscar, and Ribeye were AMAZING and ask for the Half Baked Cookie Ice Cream before you go..wow. Thanks Sami, we’ll be back soon.
The service from our waitress, Lexi, was outstanding. Not only did she know the food menu, she was also very helpful with the wine selection. She was never pushy or in the way but was always there when needed. The food was also outstanding. Great value for the meal. Helpings were very large. We definitely did not leave hungry.
Great Gluten Free menu for me. My husband loves the Bison Meatloaf & Ribs (not GF). Restaurant & menu are different than location in Creve Coeur.

Service is extremely top notch. The food is really good. It's always very consistent. I would recommend this to everyone. Children are welcomed, but not appreciated by all diners.
We went for joint couple birthday celebrations on a Lenten Friday @ 7:00pm. The seafood selections were outstanding although we were disappointed with the black rice served with the scallops. It took awhile for cocktails even though the crowd was light. Our food was superb and we received complimentary dessert. We are wine club members and the Cab Franc was a perfect compliment.
We've been going to EdgeWild Restaurant and Winery since shortly after they opened their doors. Over the years, they have been consistently excellent; a great menu, beautifully prepared food, a wonderful staff and a great list of both House and "Guest" wines. We've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and special occasions with them, and they've made us feel like family...in fact, as good as their food, wine and service is, it's the people that make it extraordinary. We can't recommend them highly enough.
They messed up 3 of our orders. Two of our steak orders were cooked improperly, medium was well done, medium well was pretty much rare. The manager took them back to do over, and it took so long to get them back, the rest of our group was pretty much done eating. When the steaks came back, they were still not really correct. They did comp those meals though.
Our particular server was a strange combination of rude and friendly. She seemed annoyed when we weren't ready to place our drink order or meal order when she wanted us to be. And when one of us tried to talk to her about our miscooked steak, she just said "Sure" and grabbed the plate without listened to what was being said, and walked off with it. It was all kinda strange.
The food was ok. The bar and bartenders were great. BUT, our server was terrible. She wouldn't quit talking, causing all of the other servers to do her work. To top it off, she brought 4 different checks to our table before she finally got the correct check. Terrible experience.
Service and waiters were excellent and pleasant, along with our happy hour wine and flatbread. Totally disappointed in the 3 dinners we chose. One was a strip steak, was to be med-well and totally dry and tough. Other one was some kind of beef, 3 pieces on plate. Gentlemen ordered med-rare and it was well and tough. My eggplant was just OK.
Bread was dry - need to serve olive oils with it.
Birthday desert was excellent.
If I come back it will only be for happy hour food.
We enjoyed this visit very much. Food was excellent and the service was good. Small quibbles over how long we waited for a drink and then how fast our food came out, but overall, a very good experience. My wife really enjoyed her Ribeye Cap and my Filet Trio was excellent. We also enjoyed a very nice Frog's Leap Cabernet. No room for Dessert!
One question I always ask at restaurants is “what are your 3 most sold menu items”. We had a server named Wendy, who was amongst the best servers I have ever had. I love it when a server takes the time to offer suggestions, not only on food, but on wine and drinks. Wendy went above and beyond and talked my wife and I both into the 3 mini fillets... I added scallops onto mine and we probably would’ve ordered different items had we not liked steaks prepared differently. Wendy brought us wines to sample, suggested sides, salads, soups, etc. I wish I could tell you how dessert was, but to be honest, nothing else was going to fit in my body. We did get different sides and salads and everything was wonderful. Kudos to EdgeWild. I hope Wendy enjoyed the $2 bills, which I add to my tips especially when I get exceptional service. I see many more $2 bills in her future. Thank you for a great dinner and great evening.
Our waiter was phenomenal he was so helpful and kind. Daniel was awesome!!!! Helpful for beer and wine pairings for the food we chose. The new dessert was really good to, bananas foster cake.
While the atmosphere was nice, there were just too many people packed in the room making the noise level extremely loud. My wife and I were looking for a quiet place away from the kids so we could just talk and enjoy ourselves, but I could barely hear here over all the noise. The food was just okay. I had the ribeye filet. It was goofed well, but this form of meat was tough for a filet and didn't have much flavor. The sides were better than the steak. Overall, the experience was okay, but I do not plan to return anytime soon.

The noise level was way to high. We had a party of 8 and couldn’t hear each other. Our waiter was inexperienced in wine and didn’t know how to our properly. The steaks were not done as asked and the sea bass was very stale. Not the best experience for us. The wine was great. We were disappointed as we have been there before and his time was not as we expected.
We've been patrons of EdgeWild Restuarant and Winery since shortly after they opened; in the years since, going almost weekly for either Happy Hour, dinner, special occasions, etc., we've never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the service is outstanding, they have a diverse wine list of both in-house and "guest" wines, the food is consistently outstanding...I rarely go anyplace else. Outstanding restaurant and even better people.
Welcoming environment, friendly bartenders, good house Chardonnay...and the Crab Chowder!! Amazing. Tried the ribeye and the salmon Oscar. Both were delicious...
The avocado toast appetiser was one of the best things I've had in a while, would highly recommend. Our waiter was both so attentive and really made for some great conversation. 10/10 would go again!

We have dined here many times but this was the best of visits. Our server was very involved in this great experience. She did an outstanding job! The food and wine were first rate, and we finished up with dessert. It could not have been better, trust me.
Food was very good, not quite great. Ambience was fine, if not underwhelming.
Overall, what ruined the night was incredibly poor service. Our waitress was certainly not friendly, even bordering on rude. Barely spoke more words than necessary, and was rushing us to leave. Hostess wasn’t much better.
Will not be going back. I’m certainly not a dining snob, but an “upscale” restaurant should really take better care of it’s clientele.

I planned an early Valentine's dinner and Edgewild met the perfect criteria for a date night! Waitress (Sammy), was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was cooked well and portion size matched the price.

The food here is always fabulous! Love the ambience, though the tables are really jammed in there so they can pack in more people. Our server did a decent job but was not the friendliest and even seemed somewhat curt at times. I gave her an outstanding tip in hopes that she might be having a bad day and a little extra cash would help.
