Food was great. The service was awesome. Would recommend.
Place looking tired. Dirty plastic flowers at entry? Actually the whole entry are looks seedy. Waiter only good spot attentive and friendly. Food tasted like microwaved. Person who brought salad could care less about dripping salad dressing across the floor, table, and me. Not going back.
The food was good, but was disappointed in the soup presentation. My husband got a salad that at least came with a piece of crostini. Nothing came with my soup. When I asked the server about crackers or something with the soup, she said she could bring bread service for an additional charge. You would think they could afford to at least put a crostini piece on with the soup. I wasn’t asking for a whole basket of bread.
The area where we sat was a little noisy and the room wasn’t even totally full. I think it is the shape of the room that makes conversational talk elevate.
We just came back from a trip where we paid twice as much for food that was half as good. We keep resolving to come to this local gem of ours more every time we visit. Highly recommended.
The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. The wait staff was very attentive. The live musician played at an enjoyable level.
Nice restaurant, great that they take reservations for both the main dining area and bar area.
Their smoked chicken wings and pizza are my favorites!!
Service is always excellent, the staff are really courteous and accommodating.
Food and beverages just fine. But very lengthy delay getting our food order. Two of group received their soups in reasonable time, but the other two of us didn't get our orders for over 35 minutes after, which made for awkward dining and conversation. Very uncrowded, but staff explained that a large private party group created the delays. Unacceptable.
The food and service was excellent as always!
Good food and wine
Service was good but not perfect
Excellent food and service, one of the best
EdgeWild has been our go to restaurant for many of our special occasions and we have been going there since the first night it opened. It always has great food and an impressive wine list. Thanks for making our most recent birthday get together another memorable experience.
It took 25 minutes to get our appetizer but only 10 minutes to get our dinners. Waitress never told us about any specials. I knew that they had them because I heard another waiter. Lobster ravioli was just ok. The sole and shrimp was just ok. Fish was way over cooked The caramel something cake for desert was awesome. Best part of the dinner.
Food was good. Service was fair.
It was dirty and you could feel it. There was at least two flies circling our table the whole time we were there.
Good was great as was service. Noise levels got a little loud making it tougher to hear one another, but good experience all the way around.
Excellent food and wonderful service. Always enjoy a dinner at Edgewild.
Nice restaurant for change of pace. 4 out of 6 of us had pasta dishes. It was so-so. Service was good. I’d go back for dinner but not for a special occasion.
The meal was very delicious. For an appetizer I had the goat cheese and for my main meal I had the Dijon chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I ate every single bite!! Very delicious!!
The food was good, but service was weird. For an Italian menu it was weird not being offered any bread for the table or any salt pepper shakers or even shaved cheese. Menus were their own challenge if you wanted a printed menu. And we did not like our main server, just saying.
So very pleasant in every way! Wouldn't change a thing!
Everything was amazing (Food, service) but very loud in restaurant so it was difficult for my Father who had hearing aids to enjoy the atmosphere.
Very good experience overall, good food, good ambiance. Had a great time.
The restaurant was very nice for my date night. My lady enjoyed the food. Everything was great!
We were disappointed in the side dish that came with the Tenderloin Trio. The only option of a starch was an unappealing scoop of garlic mashed potatoes which were cold when the were served. I was able to choose a vegetable other than spinach which was nice but disappointed that the only starch with a potato was the garlic mashed. For future reservations I will make sure and ask that we not be seated in the domed room at the front of the restaurant because of the noise level which was so loud we could hardly hear each other across the table. This was the third time we have eaten at Edgewild but will probably be choosing another restaurant with better atmosphere and menu.
Edgewild used to be a great upscale restaurant with amazing service and delicious food. Not to mention the amazing selection of wines. It was always a great happy hour or a nice date night place. But the last couple of times we have gone it seems like the place has really made a turn for the worse. I am very aware that the industry is short staffed and facing challenges but even basic courtesy should still be maintained. We made reservations for a kid free date night and when we were arrived we were immediately greeted with a young lady who was obviously annoyed. No hello - nothing. I gave her our name for the reservation and quickly snapped at the other hostess to seat us. We politely asked for one of the booths in the main dining area but instead she sat us next to a very large loud party with screaming children. I will stop here and say I had been in the food service industry for many years and had been a hostess a majority of that time - I will also say that I have children and we were just seeking a quiet area to enjoy a nice dinner. When we asked for an area that was a little quieter but said if they couldn’t accommodate it was okay. Obviously frustrated she left us standing in the middle of the dining room went and got the other hostess who said “come on” and proceeded to stick us in a small booth in the bar next to a group of drunk golfers. We decided that instead of wasting our time and money we left and went down the road. I hope that Edgewild gets it together because it has been a favorite spot of ours but sadly it will be a while before we go back and try it again.
Our server was fast and knowledgeable on their dinner and drinks menu. The area were we were seated was darker than I prefer but their service made up for it. The Mask On sign on the front door made me feel safer- maybe that’s why the staff there seemed happier than other restaurants we’ve been since March 2020! Well done!
Our table for two was very close to the back side of the bar. It was cramped and very noisy. The food was good and the service was good. Should have requested another table
The food and atmosphere are always fantastic. The service has always been great as well. This time, unfortunately, our server seemed to have a bad attitude and seemed put off by questions that we were asking. Rather than offering to inquire about a request, he was combative about what or what was not on the menu for the past 5 years that he has worked there. I’m a pretty easy person to please, but his sarcasm wasn’t appreciated. I would think twice about eating in the bar area again as I would not want him as a server. However, we still love the establishment!
Seems that your place was understaffed, but that is understood. Waiter did disappear for extended period of time when we needed to leave. My dish could have been a bit warmer. My wife's colw slaw seemed like no one had tested it. It was not eatable the way it was seasoned. Our entress were brought out and we asked for new silverware since ours had been taken away after eating apps. The server never brought silverware and we had to wait until waiter came back.
Food was very good. Got a couple glasses of spoiled wine. Was corky and sent it back. But otherwise all was good.
Always an enjoyable experience great service good menus
Food was good but we tried to order the chocolate dome dessert, which was the reason we picked this restaurant, and we were told they just sold out of them. This was at 5 pm on a Saturday night so pretty disappointing. Service is usually great but was just ok. I guess they were just having an off night.
W have dined here 4 times. With the restaurants inability to hire staff it may have been the reason for the poor quality of the food. But, it is also incumbent on the management to limit the number of patrons to balance to slower preparation of the food. It was not discounted and one should expect quality food and full price.
The service was good, but overall the food and cocktails were suboptimal, definitely not worth the price.
Waitress had no idea of the beers available and was not very familiar with the wines either. I had to go to the bar to ask about the beers and even the bartenders did not give me much help.
We went there for my wife's birthday - a party of 4. The wine was passable for the price and the entree's were very good. Chicken and steak entrees were ordered. We mentioned that it was my wife's birthday in the open table reservation but our waiter did not mention anything about it. When I mentioned it, he offered a dessert. Wife chose a chocolate multi layer cake, which was delicious.
Everything was great; definitely recommend for a nice meal without it feeling too stuffy!
EdgeWild never disappoints. The apps and entrees were outstanding and the service was very good. The house wine was also delightful and moderately priced.
The steak and bison were great. They prepared the dishes to our liking and modified where needed. The server made excellent recommendations and allowed us to relax, chat, and enjoy our meal without rushing us out. It was lively but not so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. Perfect evening!
