Edge Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
We had an outstanding dining experience on Saturday evening for our 24th wedding anniversary and Evan made it that much more special and amazing! He was awesome, accommodating and so friendly. No complaints! Beautiful atmosphere, elegant ambiance, excellent food, beautiful presentation and superior service! We loved every part of it and we plan to come back! Thank you.
The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Nick was our waiter and we really enjoyed getting to know a little about him. The "table side" Caesar salad was very good and fresh. We had the filet mignon steaks which was excellent and shared the twice baked potato because it was very large. We finished with the chocolate lava cake. Yum.
On of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. A very enjoyable and luxurious meal. We enjoyed every course and the surprise tastings in between were fabulous. We only took one photo, because we really wanted to just savor the experience. It was so great, I really wanted to photograph ever single dish. You won't be disappointed. Nick was an exceptional waiter.
We had just gotten married during the afternoon and went here for dinner. The staff made the evening very special for us. Dereck was our waiter and made evening very enjoyable. The meal was outstanding and they even brought out a special chocolate soufflé for dessert. They serve a hot popover during the meal that is to die for. I would go back just to eat one of those.
The ambiance and decor is outstanding. Service is very professional and a cut above the usual servers in Park City. Bartender had to leave to get a bottle of Proseco and they were out of the Scotch my son-in-law ordered. Our food was well presented and Popovers amazing.
My husband and I both ordered stakes, mine medium and his medium rare. They were both wrong. His was burned on the edges and became bitter. Not to mention the under cooked Brussels sprouts and potato gratin sides. For the price and in a 5 star resort I expect better than that. That was the last time I will eat there.
Service was very slow for a restaurant that was barely half full. We were told that the bartender didn't show up for work so the manager was mixing our cocktails. He must've been overloaded as it took at least 20 mins to start drink service. Bread was equally slow in delivery. However, we thought that the menu was very good and our food, once it showed up, was excellent. Our steaks were prepared perfectly and were high quality beef. The sides were outstanding. Good wine for a modest choice. The downside was that the check was over $300, a bit pricey when compared to Riverhorse, Ruths Chris, etc. We are locals who dine out often, we'll try it again, but keep our eyes out for the 2for1 special...
I celebrated my 25 birthday and I absolutely loved it. I'm from out of town and I felt like Nick made everything very special for me. From my appetizer to my entre everything was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
OMG. I have eaten a every major restaurant in Utah, or nearly so, and nothing tops the experience at Edge. If it were in San Francisco or Chicago, at even New York, it would have a Micheline star, probably two.
Everything about our experience here was perfect. The staff was of exceptional quality, professionalism, friendliness, and competency. The food was superlative. My wife and I both had their Zabuton steak, which was done to a perfect medium rare. It was juicy and full of flavor. The potatoes au gratin and the asparagus that came with it were also excellent. The macaroni and cheese, made with gruyere, truffle oil, and a house demi-glace, was almost indecently good. I would come here just for that. Matt, the manager, took care of us personally, and he was amazing.
I could write for pages about my experience here, but let me just say that if you are wondering about any aspect at all of this restaurant, it is of top quality.
Thank you so much to Chef Felipe, Nicole, Matt, Megan, and Tina. You all created an absolutely perfect anniversary experience for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
The food served at Edge was outstanding. My duck cooked medium rare was perfect. The Caesar salad was prepared tableside which rarely happens anymore. The bites in between courses were palate cleansing and tasty. The chocolate bite at the end of the meal was exquisite. The wine steward was very helpful in selecting appropriate wines for our meal. The entire staff of Edge deserve kudos for their attentiveness, knowledge and friendly service. An extremely wonderful evening.
Made reservations here because we were staying at the resort. Edge was highly rated and often recommended. Spent two hours enjoying every course! The wine list is excellent, the pace of the meal allowed us to have a nice, quiet, romantic evening together. Chef custom made desert as I was unable to enjoy the other choices. Definitely worth the time and money spent!
I had the tasting menu for one person (consisting of a "Wedge salad" and a Wagyu beef zabuton entrée), and my wife took an "Edge salad" (+ Wagyu beef zabuton option), as well as the duck entrée. Their Wagyu beef zabuton is one of the finest I've had, and both salads and entrées were delicious. The restaurant also offers a delicate amuse-bouche at the beginning, and a house specialty bread. The dessert—a chocolate soufflé—is a must-have. We thank the Edge restaurant for the finest dining experience at Canyons Village.
The only reason to visit this restaurant is for the Wagu beef cap which is outstanding. This was our second visit of three that the item was not available. I called prior to coming to restaurant and was told it was available. So disappointing. We will not go back again. Hungry so we ordered but none of our entree's were worth the expense. Bummer.
