The service was great. The appetizer was really good. The pizza was overly greasy. We each had a slice and gave up on it. The scallops were just decent. We were sitting so close to the table next to us that it was as if we were in the same party. I would say it was a little pricey for the quality of the food overall and I'm not sure we will choose to go back.

We were disappointed with some of the food. There were replacements from the menu items that we were not aware of. For the price of the food it should be served exactly as stated. So overpriced for what you actually get.

Our first time at Edgar's and we would definitely go back. Service was quick and attentive, menu was varied and interesting, and the food was good. Portions were way beyond ample.
It's a real gem located in kind of a strip mall next to a college of some sort.
They had a guitar player/singer there the night we went, and when I walked in I thought "Uh oh." Usually those folks play too loud, but this guy had his volume adjusted just right and was playing what I would consider "soft rock" songs. I gave him 5 bucks simply for knowing where he was playing and what he should be playing.
Give Edgar's a try if you haven't. And read the story of Edgar on the menu: interesting.

Excellent brunch buffet. Been missing a really good brunch buffet for a long time. Omelets were made to order. Waffles were light and fluffy. Wonderful experience

Food was excellent and server was attentive but was distracted by mistakes in the kitchen for other tables and it affected our level of service. Overall a good experience and we will return.

This is the third Birthday celebration for which our (now) 23-year old chose this restaurant. My word! The filets he and I got were exquisite! My wife got the spinach stuffed chicken and it was excellent as well. My son got the spring rolls appetizer and pronounced them the best he had ever had. The deserts were wonderful. The drinks were delightful, Ted got a Mule; I had a bourbon cocktail and my wife had a martini. Whoa!

A great restaurant to celebrate any special occasion! This was our first trip to Augusta and we wanted to have a special family dinner. We made reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. We ordered the salmon, the shellfish and grits, and the filet mignon dinners. All of the food was very fresh and delicious! We also had various sides including grilled asparagus and fried okra. Our waiter was extremely attentive and friendly, and this made for a very relaxing dining experience. I would highly recommend Edgar's Grille for your next dining experience in Augusta!!!

We decided to try Edgar's Grille for the first time on our anniversary. The restaurant is lovely, the staff attentive and efficient - our server was Joe P and he was simply wonderful.

Our meals, from the shared plates to the entrees were fantastic. The menu was unique, but not fussy,, and the flavors were well thought out and executed perfectly. We will definitely try their brunch in the near future. Very well done!

Went for a date night with wife. We were looking for somewhere comfortable but a little more romantic than one of the chain restaurants but not pricey, and we found it. We were a little worried when we found out it was a part of the Goodwill training effort to educate and train workers, but you'd never know it. Prices were reasonable, atmosphere was great and the food was delicious!

I made reservations and asked for a booth. When we got there there were two open and we got a table with a chair and one side booth. The food was okay. Took a while for the server to notice us. And it took a while for us to get our orders in. My flatbread pizza was under cooked and very greasey. I will not be going back.

I love Edgars for dinner. Great service fantastic food. I highly recommend it. With that I tried their Sunday brunch. I was greatly disappointed. Service as usual was superb but the food was disappointing. It was served buffet style and was cold. The gravy for the biscuits not only was cold but so salty it was almost inedible. So I decided to try a waffle, that was undercooked. I will not go back for brunch

My friend & I went to Edgar's since we are in Augusta to escape our homes in Naples, FL re: Hurricane Irma. The food was very good & our server was very attentive. My only complaint is this: I ordered the house Pinot Grigio - for a good price of $6. They ran out of it, so I asked for another Pinot Grigio and hoped they would charge me the house wine price. But, the manager said no. I paid $12 for an ok glass of wine. I think since they ran out of their house wine, it would have been friendly to offer an alternative at the lower price. So, I'm disappointed in their refusal.

Was sorry when Edgar's went from a la carte to "buffet" with their Sunday brunch (not my idea of breakfast, would rather just have Eggs Benedict), expecting them to soon turn into the wildly popular "all you can eat" joint, but because I believe in their Goodwill mission, decided to give it another try for dinner this week, when we had out-of-town guests, and dinner did not disappoint!

The restaurant has a comfortable appealing decor. We were there for dinner and had the Crispy Pecan Shrimp appetizer and the Citrus Pan-Seared Scallops. Both were delicious with good portion sizes. The hardest part was deciding what to order from the menu! The service was friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend, looking forward to my next visit.
