Over all the Easter take out was very good. The reheat instruction was also accurate. However having the dessert there before and it being outstanding, the apple pie was a big disappointment. More like Kroger than gourmet chef.
Pizza was fantastic staff was very nice manager excellent thanks for staying open during this time of crisis it was nice to get out thanks again
The best meal around, the service was excellent and the food was outstanding
Greeter was very considerate as I was debating whether to sit outside or inside. The server was very professional and friendly.
We always have an exceptional time at Edgar's Grille. Our server was fantastic and the food was perfect. There was never an instance where our bottomless mimosas were not instantly replaced with new glasses. Despite the challenge of the corona virus, the service and customer service is better than ever.
It’s a beautiful place and experience! I give it 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back for the seafood bisque!!!
Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Awesome dinning experience
Great place in every aspect. This is my favorite restaurant in Augusta. Always good!
Great experience with knowledgable wait staff.
Very nice dinner and atmosphere. Waiter was so polite and helpful!!
We always enjoy our meals at Edgars Grille. We had one complaint this time which is very unusual. We always order an appetizer of pecan shrimp. This time they were not wonderful. The server told us that they had changed suppliers. They did take the shrimp off the bill but I hope they change back to the previous supplier.
I took my parents there for their 30th wedding anniversary and I couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place for the meal. We all had an evening that we won’t ever forget.
The food was ok. Too many sesame seeds on the salmon, the brussel sprouts were overcooked, and the steak was undercooked. Plus the cost was way to high for what we got (~$100 after tip for just entrees, 1 glass of wine, and 1 soda - no appetizers or desserts). Finally, our server was most absent when we first got there, came by too much when we were eating, and then very absent when were were done eating and trying to pay.
Awesome all around!
In cooperative when trying to seat our group of 10 together or close. Receipt is not clear on gratuity. Nothing shows up on first receipt expect a donation so if you don’t read it and you donate you then get hit for a 20% tip on top of the donation, very deceptive
In the restaurant, not so many people there. the food, especially grit is excellent. so delicious! meat is also good. Salad, we need more taste of fruit, and vegetable. Cake is good not so sweet. Omelets is large size, then we can order one and share at next time. overall, this restaurant is better than others, and we would like to enjoy out side table.
Love the atmosphere here. The service is outstanding. The food is especially good and well presented. The prices are reasonable. Next time we will try the Sunday Brunch.
We love edgars so naturally we wanted to come here for our 16th wedding anniversary. However, that particular night after we were initially seated; we were ignored for almost 30 minutes. Not even a hello I’m your server, or given water. We almost walked out, that’s when we were finally greeted by our server. It wasn’t overly busy either... so we were very confused as to why this was going on. After we were finally greeted, the service improved drastically but that initial half hour almost made us rethink coming back in the future. I’m glad they changed our minds... hoping next time is better.
The food was great. Steak was perfectly cooked
The food and atmosphere keep us coming back for brunch. The service is top notch. Every experience has always been great.
I was very impressed by the service! We had Athena and she was attentive and sweet. The brunch food however isn't worth cost.
It was our first time at Edgar's and overall it was a very good experience. The main drawback for my wife and me was the ambiance was lacking due to everything was, as my wife said, a hard surface. This also led to our other detractor, the noise level which is magnified by the lack of any sound absorbing features. Hard to carry on a conversation. All things considered though, we enjoyed it. The food was very good and our service was excellent (thanks Dylan).
Our wait staff were attentive and energetic. I felt the cost per plate was very high but understand that this helps the students and staff.
Food was wonderful!
This was my first time at Edgar’s! It was so wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend the duck tacos. I know the staff wasn’t aware, but this was the perfect place for our engagement night! The candle lit tables were a nice touch.
Always excellent. One of Augusta’s gems. Well rounded menu and changes frequently. Stands out even when compared to big city restaurants.
Ambience and service were excellent. The food was delicious-we just couldn’t find the pimento cheese in the pimento cheese deviled eggs. We would definitely return, though. Looking forward to trying the lunch menu! Love the concept behind this restaurant.
Food had too much hot taste. menu did not indicate the hot nature of the food.
Great lunch today. Service and food were very good
The food was very good but they did run out of 2 items which I thought odd for an early (6:30 reservation) dinner on a Mon night. Service was not good - long delays after ordering entrees, desserts, & paying
Great food & service. Atmosphere is perfect.
The food was okay. Nothing blew me away. The service was pretty slow and it was a buffet so not like we needed a ton of service. Had to wait to get water, and waited 10 minutes at the end to get out check. Don’t think I’d come back. If we are going to eat out we want it to be an experience.
We had a great date night at Edgar’s this past Friday night. We enjoyed the food, the drinks, and the service! We will be back soon!
Superb dining experience ....especially after a long week. I've already made another reservation. Started with the greeting from the hostess. As it is suitable for most occasions..... the cozy setting works well. I really like everything about Edgar's Grille.....from the table setting to the glass bottle used to serve water from. The food did not disappoint! As i was reviewing the menu i felt like i wanted to order one of everything. Aside from the great food (seafood chowder is to die for) my favorite experience was seeing my food delivered without a naked thump setting in my plate. They earned 5 stars!
Wonderful breakfast buffet
What ever you have for your own breakfast, it's on the buffet. Well worth the price.
My moms 85th birthday brunch. Food and service was good, but much too noisy.
This was my first experience at Edgar’s Grille, and it was wonderful! The brunch buffet was huge, the service was excellent and the food delicious. Will definitely be back!
Best restaurant in Augusta!
Food with the exception of the appetizer we ate was mediocre at best. The appetizer was the best part of the meal.
Our waiter was wonderful on this busy Valentines weekend!
Great variety of great food. Our waiter, Nathan, was impeccable. Noise level made normal conversation a little difficult.
