Chicken was over cooked. Have ate here in the past it was all good . Maybe cooks have bad days too.
I love Edgars!! The ambience is great and the customer service is great from the time you walk in the door. The food is reasonably priced, was on time and delivered with a smile and yes, it always taste amazing.
Waiter needs training, needs to learn to serve the ladies first. Also needs to pick up the dirty dishes off the table
Great waiters and waitresses, very friendly and professional! Food is great and ambience is good! Evening food is fantastic and brunch is pretty good too! Thoroughly recommended!!
Loved eating at Edgar's! Little Pricey, but will come back again. Staff was very professional and receptive to our needs. Restaurant is a little noisy, but overall a great place to eat.
I believe our food was prepared timely but wasn’t served when it was ready. The pizza was cold, although the crust was perfect. The French fries as a side order was very salty.
My daughter's birthday was being celebrated. The waiter was so kind to arrange a cake with a candle and then remind me of it - when I forgot towards the end! So attentive! We love Edgar's ever changing menu selections! Makes each dining experience unique and exciting! The food is always OFF THE CHART fabulous! Thank you for offering your restaurant to the Augusta community! Quite possibly the best in town! Enola
The food and service was very good .
Would go again.
Great ambience, very delicious food. Will surely return.
Best restaurant in Augusta for Sunday brunch without any competition! Wonderful and friendly service. Awesome brunch buffet at a reasonable price.
Fantastic waitress named Athena who was so knowledgeable in every aspect we asked her! Very pleasant & willing to answer all of our questions! Food was outstanding!
Anniversary - food was amazing, Nathan was phenomenal - excellent experience.
First time visitor. Amazing and friendly staff! Comfortable dining setting! Excited for my next dining experience!
Shrimp and grits were amazing! Wonderful service and atmosphere!
A great option on a Monday night. Myself and some business colleagues enjoyed a relaxing dinner at Edgar's. The service was great and our waitress was very helpful. She was not shy sharing her favorites, which, as "newbies," was extremely helpful. Edgar's had a nice beer selection. The fried green tomatoes and pecan shrimp are not to be missed. My friends enjoyed the catch of the day, shellfish and grits, and I had the lamb, which was very good. If you get the lamb, or a dish with grilled asparagus, I would recommend substitution the asparagus for another side. Given the other, great, sides, the asparagus, thin, limp, was an after thought The garlic mushrooms and gouda mac n' cheese were great sides. I wish they had more dessert options; however, the chocolate cake did the trick.
We started out inside but it was loud and very cold. But we moved out on the patio and it was perfect! Great brunch buffet with lots of good choices.
Good food, great service.
Food and service was excellent. Loved the atmosphere
Diver Scallops dish was incredible!!
Just move to the area a week ago and came here to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere was really nice. We made reservations for 7:15 and got here in time. However, we were told that it would be a 10-20 mins wait time which I didn’t understand why we made reservations. We sat at the bar and waited for us to be seated. We were seated after about 25-30 minutes and immediately had our server came over to us. We order an appetizer with salmon in it which was great. My husband ordered the rack of lamb and I ordered the chicken breast. Our meal came and my husband immediately jump on his lamb while giving an approving head nod because he liked it. However, I couldn’t give the same approval for my chicken because something was definitely off with the textures. I had never had chicken breast that had a powdery texture. I was looking for my server to ask if I could get something else. She finally came over and apologized. She offered to changed it for the salmon which was much better than that chicken. I would say my server was very accommodating and was apologetic. She did not charge me extra for the change which I think was nice of her. Will I go back most definitely but no chicken for me in the future. I’ll pass 😜
While on business travel went to Edgar’s with a coworker. Food was excellent as was the entire wait staff. Will definitely come back
Great customer service and Great Food. Great drink specials on Saturday
Loved our experience as always... great atmosphere, great food, great service.
Excellent food! Excellent service! Excellent drinks! Augusta’s hidden treasure!
Amanda was our waitress & she was exceptional! Sweet personality & very helpful in our decisions as to which martini to try & what do eat. The scallops were so tender & delicious! Can’t wait to return & request Amanda again !!
Food is consistently excellent here. A little loud but that’s partly due to the live music which is great and totally worth the added noise.
It was quite a surprise to know that this restaurant is owned and operated by Goodwill Industries with the purpose of educating young people in the food industry. It is very upscale and the servers are super professional. The menu is unique and creatively constructed and the food is superb. It's a bonus to know the restaurant is non-profit and in addition to providing a training ground for students of Helm College, the proceeds are used by Goodwill. Fantastic experience overall.
Brought my mom here (she's from out of town). We had great service and the food was so good.
The food and service were very good. However, if you want to have a conversation it will be difficult. This restaurant is very loud. Even the server had a hard time communicating with us.
Food was excellent. Good size portions. (Enough for me to take home for lunch the next day)
Loved the music on Thursday evening.
We had another great dining experience at Edgar's Grille. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Nate was a great waiter, and was friendly and professional.
Consistently good food and service. Nice atmosphere inside. One of the best places in Augusta for a business lunch. The only negative of this place is the strip mall in which it is located.
We really enjoy coming to Edgar's Grille for a fine dining experience because of their culinary skill, ambiance, and service. Nothing better in Augusta. We will be back!
The food, service, and ambiance was amazing. This was our first visit. We were married the day before and brought some of our guests there and they loved it. They even talked about coming to visit us just to go to dinner. Happy customer.😊
great dining experience, we were treated like royalty and thoroughly enjoyed the food
Excellent all around from service to food! We enjoyed everything we had- appetizers of fried green tomatoes and shrimp and dinners of arugula feta pizza and filet mignon.
My only very small complaint was that the cheesecake for dessert was good the whipped cream I suspect was cool whip. That’s just a tiny thing and when I brought it up to the waiter he mentioned they were getting a new pastry chef in the next few days and that would certainly change!
My daughter and I had a lovely experience and will definitely return.
Phenomenal Restaurant. Would definitely return. Excellent food and service.
Food was great, the smoked pork chop was outstanding, and the cheese grits were perfect. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and the service was outstanding..
It was the students first week. Presentation great, service very slow. 15 minutes before drink order. 15 minutes before serving drink. 25 minutes before bread served. Ordered salad came out fast, then appetizers and dinner came out together so timing on serving off, Dinner was long 7-9:30 because service was not prompt. It wasn’t server but kitchen not flowing. Only students third day so I’ll be back. Will not comment on food this visit because not fair to judge student chefs their first week. I will go back and believe it will be much better,
First time here, and we will definitely return!!!!
