Prices are high but food is great. Don't be in a hurry b/c great food takes time to prepare. While you wait enjoy a glass of wine. I definitely recommend.
This was my second time dining here. Just like the first, it was a great overall experience. The food was amazing! Our server, Jonathan, was very attentive, energetic, and funny. I would absolutely recommend anyone to try this establishment at least once and make their decision for themselves. Though I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
Server, Melissa, was not well trained. After a friendly greeting, she reached across 3 of the 4 at our table to pour water. The bottle was sweating and she dripped water on my wife and on our paper menus. she did not notice and I had to wipe up. When she cleared the table after the main course, she stacked three sets of dishes with uneaten food on them on top of my wife's place.
The food was inconsistent. I had two pieces of salmon on my plate, one was "medium rare" and the other raw. I mentioned this to the server at the end and she said she'd tell the cook. My yellow grits were cold and firm and my roasted Brussel sprouts were cold and tasteless. There did not seem to be a Head Server overlooking the restaurant so I decided that complaints to our server would be disruptive of our meal with friends. We have had good experiences in the past and i was the one who chose this restaurant. Disappointed.
I’ve visited a few times and each time has been incredible!
Steak not cooked as directed but was corrected. Server attention was either overwhelming or could not find him.
Final food was excellent.
Food was not cooked properly
We recently enjoyed Sunday brunch. It was our first time visiting and we will certainly return. Food was great and staff were friendly and attentive.
Appetizer sashimi tuna was very good. Main course: filet mignonette with twice baked potatoe and squash casserole - filet was charred on one side and salted to an extreme. The twice baked potato was semi-liquid and the squash casserole had no taste.
Other main course: salmon with mushroom risotto and Brüssel sprouts - salmon was large portion and tasty. Risotto had consistency of baby food but tasted ok.
Overall very disappointed. Meals were chain restaurant quality and not worth the money.
Family reunion. Fantastic!
Wonderful place with great food.
It was one of my daughters 23rd birthday, the service, menu choices, and drinks were super. The food was just perfect all 6 meals were spot on. No complaints one of the best dinning experiences in quite awhile.
Wonderful in every aspect from food to high quality service! Highly recommend!
First time at Egars and it won’t be the last. Everyone was genuinely friendly ,the attention we got was excellent and the food was amazing, especially the Gouda Mac and cheese ,sweet potato mash and lemon blueberry cake! Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
As always, Edgar’s never disappoints!! Their new summer menu is creative and of course delicious 😋
Service is very attentive and courteous.
Wasn’t the first time we’ve been there and certainly won’t be the last.
Service was excellent! Food over all was yummy and tasty.
Edgar’s has become one of our favorite venues in which to dine in the Augusta area. I would definitely recommend Edgar’s to my friends and colleagues.
We love coming and always enjoy our experience.
Sometimes it expensive for what is served.
The service was great, the food was good especially for a buffet, and the restaurant is very nicely decorated.
Jennifer great service 😍😍
Nice place, a little pricey in my opinion. I probably won't go back, but it's an okay place.
As usual the food was wonderful. Always had a great experience at Edgar’s
My second favorite restaurant in Augusta
My friends and I enjoyed our brunch. The waitress could have been a little more attentive. She mixed up the omelette orders. She didn’t check on us during the meal but when it was closing time, she did
My experience at Edgar’s is always great.
Both the food and the service were ideal. I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend Edgar's to all of my friends and family in the area.
Buffet only which is a little pricey. Food isn’t bad. Mimosas are great.
We enjoyed our brunch. The cost is a little high, especially when your child didn't eat and was still charged for being there. The food was good. The waffle machine was broken and the ones that were available were moist and limp. They were the one thing that I wanted and couldn't have. The fruits and vegetables were as good as what I could have bought in a breakfast platter from a local retailer. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. The other desserts were also very "commercial" also.
The best part about the meal was who I was sharing it with and the server that we had, although she didn't pick up plates when we were done.
This was our first time dining at Edgar’s. The meal was delicious and the staff was so courteous. It was my husband’s birthday so we appreciated a great experience.
Great food in an awesome dining experience! Wether you live here or are just visiting, make this place a spot for you to go to.
We travel through Augusta twice a year en route to North Carolina and always dine at Edgar’s. A truly winning combination of good food and good works.
Dinner last night was outstanding. I had the scallops and my husband enjoyed the prime tip bolognese. We finished with white chocolate cheesecake. Patrick, our server provided great service and was very knowledgeable about the menu.
Highly recommend Edgar’s.
This is basically a classroom for the Helms College students who are studying to work In the restaurant, whether it's as a chef, cook, hostess or wait staff so everything will not always be perfect. However, it was very close. Food was excellent and presentation was very good. We will return
Always happy with the service and food. Tried the brunch buffet this past Sunday and enjoyed it very much. Recommend the food anytime
Had brunch with my mom and son here. It was a very good atmosphere. We did the buffet brunch which was a fair price with several options. I’m not a fan of southern food so I did not enjoy the food as much as my mother did. Overall quite a lovely restaurant, great staff and good food. I will go back for regular dining to comment on the food but I expect it to be great.
Delicious as ever, Edgars Grille has one of the most outstanding dinner menus in the area. Truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend.
The mushroom bruschetta was DELICIOUS! I think we got full off of that and couldn’t finish our meals. The salmon was very satisfying and the glaze left me wanting more! The mushroom risotto was also VERY tasty, and I highly recommend trying it as a side. My husband had the lamb chops that were good after having to be cooked a little longer. Great ambiance and not too stuffy. I took advantage of their drink special that night and enjoyed my Moulin Rouge martini. Great food experience from beginning to end. If they had dessert it wasn’t mentioned, but we didn’t have room for it anyway.
We asked for a booth but did not get one. Don't know why not because they were not busy.
Had three large tables empty the whole time we were there.
Would still recommend the Sunday brunch.
This is a fine place to eat. It’s purpose makes me keep wanting to to back. Great food, service, bill, everything.
I had no idea that Edgar's was a partnership with a local University and Goodwill. I was incredibly impeessed. The kids menu was somewhat limited but the full menu has great options. We has the fried green tomatoes and the pecan encrusted shrimp. Both were excellent. They brought the kids food out first, which was great. Everyone commented that the food was excellent. I has the Colorado Lamb Chops and they were outstanding.
The restaurant and bar we're extremely well designed. As I looked around the room, I kept thinking about Goodwill and how upscale this place is inside. They did a great job with the design, menu and format. Overall, an excellent value
Mediocre. Didnt live up to the hype. Maybe I was just expecting to much. It was average
