Eden Ratings and Reviews
Went on Valentine's Day and had a great experience. Our reservation was for 9pm. We arrived at 840pm and were seated immediately. Great wine list, apps and dinner came out in a timely fashion. The food was out of this world. Overall we had a great time and we can't wait to go back!
I took my brother, visiting from KY, and he loved it! I've been here several times and the food is always excellent and the service quite good too. Extensive wine list and they have a bar as well. Perhaps the best food in Rehoboth Beach with few other contenders of such gourmet quality.
Eden is one of our all-time favorite places anywhere! The food is always terrific, the service exemplary and the ambience is lovely. We go there every chance we get while in the Rehoboth/Bethany Beach area. Highly recommended and would give it higher than 5 stars!
We went to celebrate the 60th birthday of my good friend. He had been to Eden many times and was looking forward to celebrating. The food was not that great - osso buco was particularly bland - and the waiter disappeared for 30 minutes before we had ordered our appetizers. I had called the restaurant ahead of time to order a birthday dessert for my friend, which never came, nor was the birthday acknowledged.
My husband and I went to Eden for a RARE date night. Scott was out server and he was exceptional. Was very knowledgeable about the wine list and recommended a great Pinot Noir from Oregon. We got the pork belly appetizer which was to die for. For entrees we had the ahi tuna and the seared duck breast; both were lovely. We did not have dessert, we were stuffed, but I'm sure that would have been delicious as well!
We went for New Years Eve dinner, the food and service were outstanding. This was my first time and I was a little concerned since this was going to be a fixed menu but it was better than I imagined. I can’t wait to go back and try the regular menu and I would highly recommend going if you enjoy great food.
A friend and I decided on Eden to celebrate our birthdays, and we were not disappointed! The staff is very friendly, well-groomed, knowledgeable, and accommodating, and we especially liked our server, Chris. He went out of his way to replace our wine when he discovered the bottle was not at its best. He took our teasing about his good looks with grace and good humor, making two old ladies feel special. The food was exceptional... the proteins (duck and filet mignon) were prepared as perfectly as they possibly could have been. If I had one complaint, it would be the pea tendril salad. It was very hard to eat, as you couldn’t get it on a fork, and the flavor in general was a bit “grassy”. Other than that, the food was amazing.
After all of the years coming to Rehoboth Beach, how did we miss this one? Incredible food, impeccable service, notable wine list, what more could you ask for? The Halibut from the regular menu was delicious. Served with a wonderful risotto and baby Bok Choy base. Other than the fish being slightly over cooked, it was a meal to die for. My wife ordered the special of Arctic Char, served over a spinach orzo that was simply perfect. Needless to say, we both tried each other’s fish . If I had to choose, the Artic Char was best, but my risotto was better than her orzo!
The service was among the best we’ve ever experienced anywhere. Our server, Holly J., was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and a delight to speak with. Her understanding of the processes the chef utilized was a wonderful addition to the evening.
The wine list was very diverse, with many good values. After dinner drinks of single malt Scotch and cognac were quite reasonably priced, and the de-cafe coffee was some of the best we have ever tried.
We will be back!
We went there for our Anniversary and expected to have a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was so quaint and charming and the evening started off great.
Our $36 filet was ordered medium but came out well-done. The waiter took it back with no issue. After fifteen minutes, the newly cooked filet could have mooed like a cow it was so rare. To make matters worse, I ordered the grilled Rockfish. After five minutes, the waiter said that it would be pan-seared. That was acceptable but then he came back to inform me that the Rockfish was really Halibut. I was expecting a great filet. When it arrived, it was dry, flakey, and tasteless. In fact the entire meal was tasteless. So disappointing. We could have made a better meal at home on the grill. We will never return. Way over priced.
My girlfriends and I were celebrating our 39th get-together weekend so we are always on the lookout for a good restaurant with excellent food and a nice atmosphere. Eden met all of our expectations. There were five of us and we all have different tastes but everyone was very pleased. The wine recommendation from our excellent waitress was so delicious that we drank a second bottle. The evening was perfect.
We had a very nice meal at Eden. It was a quiet Sunday evening. The server was attentive and responded to all our questions and provided very good recommendations when asked. Food was excellent, portions are generous but not huge. I'm not sure what this restaurant would be like on a crowded Friday or Saturday but we definitely enjoyed our meal, so I would recommend it.
My husband and I loved Eden! I went with the Tuna Poke for starters and the halibut for my entree while my husband went with the Tomato Bisque soup and Ahi Tuna. It was the night of 1/2 off wine bottles so we ordered a red and a white. Dustin, our server, was a trained somalier so he guided us on the best pairings with our food. Wonderful evening!!
It is always refreshing to eat in a restaurant that knows their customers and remembers what they love. We started with a handcrafted cocktail and a beer while chatting with locals and the friendly staff. We were seated on time and started with appetizers. The ceviche was one of the best I have had there, or anywhere, for that matter and the grilled Caesar salad was yummy. We moved on to wine and decided to go by the glass as we each wanted something different. John and Holly both made suggestions throughout the evening and they were spot on. The filet never disappoints and we both chose it for our entrees. The hubby went with sorbet to finish off the meal and I sadly stuck to my diet. The entire evening was perfect from beginning to end, we will be back often!
Always great! Had dinner during Jazz Week with a 5 piece jazz band to accompany us. Waiter was terrific. I had the grouper which was served with a spicy but very tasty sauce. My dining companions both had the bison short ribs and raved about the dish. Not your everyday menu!
