This was our first time at Eden. We are summer residents in Rehoboth area. The food was creative and the service was great. We were upstairs which was a bit noisy and warm with the record heat. We knew enough to request inside seating but not downstairs seating which was very cool and quiet. All areas white table cloth. Will be back.
Too hot, too noisy and upstairs seating for handicapped people.... took 30 minutes to park and even tho went in and asked that my group be told to go ahead and have drinks was not conveyed to them. One of my favorite restaurants previously but never again. Waiter very nice and good under adverse circumstances.
Ordered the Filet mignon for myself and my son. They came out surprisingly quick with no flavor what so ever. When half the table was still finished dinner, they handing out dessert menus and started taking orders.
Love love love the food at Eden. They never disappoint. Even my mojito was the best I’ve ever had. Great time as always 😁
Lovely, festive, elegant, excellent wine list and food beautifully presented-the lobster, crab and mango tower is a standout!
We enjoyed our dinner and wine. They have a nice wine list! Our waiter Kevin was great very friendly, attentive and fun. The rest of the staff was also nice. Definitely one of our Rehoboth Beach favorites!
I enjoyed the Wahoo and my friend had the pasta. We both loved our meals and the cocktails were great too.
Our server,Kevin, was very outgoing and attentive. Steak was delicious and deer chop was seasoned really well. Although not your ty[ical Caesar salad, the Caesar was light and refreshing..
My wife and I had a lovely dinner (it was her birthday), made delightful by this restaurant's outstanding cuisine and wonderful ambience.
Disappointed that they do not honor reservations and make no efforts to accommodate you when it is obvious that there was enough room in the restaurant.
Food was above average, service was excellent. Disappointed in where we were seated-we were a table for 2, seated between the kitchen and its exhaust fan noise, and a table for a larger party, where one guy apparently thought a contest was being held to see who could yell the loudest in the entire restaurant. This was even though much more desirable tables were available when we were seated.
Superbly prepared fresh fish creations that were exactly as described in the menu.
Booked on a friends recommendation for special family dinner. Eden was superb, our server was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was excellent - charcuterie and cheese for 5 to start. Burrata caprese, filet mignon, ahi tuna, pan seared chicken and the scallops were all exceptional entree’s. Good beer selection and the house cabernet is big and bold. Creme brulee, the chefs oreo cheesecake and the dark chocolate ice cream finished off our best family dining experience in Rehoboth this week.
Usually a very dependable place for a quality meal. We had a party of 4 and everyone's fish was very dry!
I made reservations for out door seating...... It was very nice.... we were upstairs in the porch.... It was comfortable..... atmosphere was nice and the food was great...
We had a wonderful dinner for our anniversary. The food was delicious and our waiter was awesome! I would definitely go back again!
As always a fantastic experience as I always say if you are in town you have to put this on your "to do" list.
We have had many great experiences in the past at Eden so this trip was very disappointing. Granted it was a holiday but it was not overly busy so it should have been better. Server forgot 1 of 2 appetizers, dinner was very disappointing. Ordered scallops with risotto. Of the 4 small scallops 2 were burnt black on 1 side. The risotto was more like pasty minute rice and was cold. Pork oso buco had very little meat and was mostly bone. It was served over rice that was more like a rice ball of sticky rice.
This is our second experience. The first time we were inside on the lower level and this most recent time we were outside on the balcony. We really enjoyed being on the balcony especially since it was July 3rd (Rehoboth does fireworks on the third). The wine was perfect, our server was friendly and knowledgeable, we enjoyed the pork belly quesadilla as an appetizer! We will be back next year!
Always great food and service. Every time we are in town, we make a point to come to Eden - one of our top two favs in Rehoboth. Great flavors, interesting food combinations, and always fresh.
Food was imaginative and excellently prepared. Everything was delicious. Service was mediocre. Glasses of wine specifically ordered for the entree came out 20 mins before entree. Runner was rude and unfriendly. Wednesday night price fixed is excellent value. Overall great meal but service needs improvement.
This was the first time in years that we found fault with the food. Appetizer, cocktails, wine and dessert were great but the main course was a disappointment. Something is slipping in the kitchen. Hopefully this can be remedied.
Eden is a great Rehoboth Beach drinks and dinner place - we have been there many times and have never been disappointed. It is one of our “go to” places when we have guests, especially since it is one of the few places in town that takes reservations during the Summer season. Have never had a bad meal - our guests feel the same. Thinks to try - the flatbreads are wonderful, as are the scallops. Specials are always interesting and tasty. They also have a nice but small bar area with very knowledgeable mixologists. Make a great Old Fashioned! Worth the visit.
Great place but inconsistent product that night. Only real issue was my Duck app was way over cooked. Either someone knew it was below standard, plated it, and sent it out or didn’t know it was below standard, plated it, and sent it out. I am hoping the latter. Having been in restaurants for thirty years I tend to have a heightened expectation in fine dining establishments. The flip side is I know the challenges of performing at a four and five star level every day so I try to leave my criticisms back at the hotel. My server never brought my coffee with dessert which was disappointing but not the end of the world. The restaurant lost revenue from a voided app and missed sale from the coffee. Not to mention the server lost 20% gratuity from both. Don’t let these few hiccups sway anyone from dining here. Just an off night and noted as such.
Tough date night for us. Ordered a few things for my fiancée and I to split. Kansas City steak was going to be the main dish we split. I think it was about a $45-$50 steak. Ordered medium rare, came out well done. I felt terrible saying it wasn’t right but did so they remade us a new steak. She asked me to cut it in front of her (which felt awkward but I understood)... as I opened it, even she could see that the steak was more well done than the first one. At this point we just felt awkward and embarrassed so we said to not make a 3rd steak. She claimed the main chef was gone for the night so she apologized. Took off the steak from the order so didn’t have to pay for it, but we had to go get dinner elsewhere. Nice server. Terrible food. Would NOT go back.
Beautiful restaurant but the meal was a disappointment. Fish so dry it was inedible. The replacement pork osso buco was not much better. Server was very competent and removed the fish from the bill. Don’t order flatbread
Lack of a Children’s menu is a bit challenging in Rehoboth. We struggled with the menu for our 8 and 10 year olds and could not find anything shy of a $50 steak they split. Chef does not like substitutions but at least they put it on 2 plates for us. The Pork osso bucco was bland.
For a pretentious upscale restaurant, I at least expect rust- free patio furniture for the outside dining.
Love the vibe and selection of wine, cocktails and food. Excellent service !
Place is dirty. Brown water spots on ceiling. Place smelled musty. Drapes at tables need a good cleaning. Steak was under cooked. They need a chef who knows how to cook a steak.
The chef came out to talk to me about my food sensitivities. The chef served my husband and me our food. He was awesome! Forever grateful!
We had the cheese plate and the pan-seared scallops, along with the cucumber-infused martinis. They all exceeded our expectations. Our server, Ryan, was knowledgeable and helpful in our selections. Overall, a great dining experience! We are recommending Eden to friends who will be visiting Rehoboth Beach.
Eden is upscale dining in a romantic setting with cozy booths separated by billowy curtains and great service. The signature grilled caesar salad is a favorite. For entrees we chose the ahi tuna (perfectly cooked) and the pork osso buco served Hawaiian style with pineapple rice and zucchini - it couldn't have been any more tender. Desserts win here, too, with a decadent peanut butter pie and one of the best creme brulees we've had outside of France. Don't skip the bread - little squares of slice bread with whole roasted garlic cloves baked into it!
Romantic evening. Started at bar for happy hour wine. Was seated at a booth. Pleasant and knowledgeable server with noteworthy support staff. Food was incredible. Chef is to be commended.
Can’t imagine visiting Rehoboth Beach and not coming here. Whether you are a local or a visitor, this restaurant is not to be missed.
We were a little nervous when we arrived a few minutes before our reservation (with a 3 & 7 year old) and were told that they didn't open until 6 p.m. sharp and to return then. The restaurant was beautiful, the ambiance was very nice. The food was excellent and the wine options were equally wonderful. There was no children's menu but our server was excellent and was very accommodating. Overall this was a great meal with very friendly service, and the restaurant was truly beautiful. It's probably better for a quiet date night, but they were very kind to our family.
Eden provided a perfect birthday experience!
We have walked past Eden many times and never thought anything of it. If you peek in the Windows the main room is behind a veil. We decided to find out what was behind the veil and could not have been more pleased. Matt took great care of us and answered my wife's questions authoritatively. We started with the lobster/crab tower, which sits on top of mango and is a delight. Also the Sardinia shrimp with perfectly done shrimp and a unique presentation. We had to Google freeloading sarda, but I had no trouble eating it. Our mains were seared scallops on vegetable risotto and halibut on tricolored couscous. You could tell the seafood was very fresh and perfectly done. And they have a pepper mill and a Himalayan salt mill on the table. Not that we needed them but I dislike when the chef is so presumptuous that he refuses to have salt and pepper on the table. We were perfectly satisfied with the portions even though we had no room for dessert. I can't believe we literally waited years to try this place.
Food was good. Sat outside upstairs and is a great view. Overall a good experience prices are on the higher side.
The meal for our table took 1.5 hours to come out. When it arrived people with Halibut dishes noticed they were over cooked. The servers were kind. The ambience is lovely. Unfortunately we were not impressed this time around with service and food.
Eden always delivers. The scallops were delicious and the portions are perfect. Great service to boot! Can’t wait to celebrate another special occasion there soon.
My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Eden. The restaurant was very upscale in feel and presentation. The meals were the right size, not too big or too small. My wife enjoyed the fillet mignon with potatoes and I had the Atlantic Halibut. Both were delicious.
