A very fine restaurant with an excellent menu and fine wine program. We had a 3 course meal with the premium wine flight selected by the wine manager. The dinner was excellent. It is expensive but it is in an upscale hotel in a resort location.

First trip to Banff with my spouse and first time staying at Rimrock hotel (and first time at Eden restaurant)

Its difficult to come up with he correct words to describe this place. The easiest thing would be to say "unreal dining experience." One is not just eating, it's an unforgettable experience. Food is amazing; well thought out and delicious. Service is impeccable and the view is beautiful. Cannot wait to return.

One of the best dining experiences we have been to anywhere in the world. Everything is perfect from the venue, the view, the food, the service, even the valet parking. The food is spectacular in creativity, taste and presentation and is partnered by the exceptional waiting staff with their expert and friendly explanation and intricately choreographed and executed service that elevates the dinner into an evening of virtuoso art. Expensive? Yes. Value for money? Absolutely! We had the tasting menu.

Everything was exquisite. The service was exceptional, and the food and view were also stunning.

there are very few true gourmet establishments in this area and Eden is among the best. Service is professional, food is beautifully plated and wonderfully prepared. sommelier service outstanding:
when you give a som a price range and he finds you a beautiful bottle for less, he is truly doing his job.
my only critique is, are are all restaurants in this area, heavy on meat and a bit lacking in seafood choices.
but when in the land of the bison and caribou better not to order Maine lobster!

Unbelievable dining experience with an incredible view. Staff was attentive, knowledgeable and above all, friendly and welcoming. I’ve been more than fortunate in having some great dining experiences over the years, and this was right near the top. God Bless you Chad G. and the rest of his staff.

Was recommended this as the best place to eat in Banff. Certainly impressive: great tables, wonderful views, stylish and delicious food. But, there is much missing. First, the menu is a challenge. It is as if it was written by a 10 year old. What is described as a 'mushroom tart' is nothing like a mushroom tart. Could have been better described as a curated collection of local mushrooms, each prepared differently and served in a wonderfully teasing way to delight. Or something like that. Even the staff were not much help. Rather off-hand and presumptuous when asked more details about the food. Did they not know, or not care? Something definitely missing. So, very good for the food, but as we all know, a restaurant experience is made up of so much more.

Great attentive service and humorous waitstaff. Chef was able to accommodate my gluten dairy soy allergies with delicious alternatives. Great views of the mountains. They celebrated my partners birthday with a special treat. Easy validated parking.

We were in Banff for a conference at the Fairmont last week. A retired chef turned taxi driver recommended Eden to us. One of my daughters name is Eden so we had to go. Glad we did. Amazing food, service and a view. We will return for sure when we are next in Banff.

I loved the service and the presentation of food at Eden. Most of the 10 course tasting menu was delicious (especially the bread) but the tartare didn’t have any taste at all. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner with my spouse!

This is a special occasion restaurant, but you might want to create more special occasions to go to it.
The elk tartare was kind of gummy, but everything else was fantastic, and the cost was equivalent to the nice restaurants near where we live in the States. Daughter got the vegetarian tasting menu, then added fish, and they were very accommodating.

Tasteless food, greatly dissatisfied

We had our 10th anniversary dinner at Eden, ending our week-long vacation in Banff, and it was a wonderful experience. First, the views are amazing AND the service is seamless AND the food is beautifully presented, very creative and delicious. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing.
We live in New York city and are used to (and spoiled by) eating in excellent restaurants, and this was definitely up to NYC standards. It was a truly a memorable experience for us. Thank you!!

For starters, what an incredible setting! From the moment you walk in you are made to feel both welcomed and special. The food was incredible and the wine pairings were very well thought out and beautifully explained. My wife and I could not believe four hours had just melted away. I would recommend this experience to anyone who loves food, wine and a great experience.

Chad, Benoit and the rest of the staff were great. The food was outstanding and the views of the mountain was picturesque. Definitely recommend going there.

This was a high end, expensive several course dining "experience." We both ordered the 3 course tasting menu - small portions but executed perfectly. We also were given gratis "samples" of several other items and all were good except one had a slightly bitter aftertaste. We had great fun with all of the staff but the sommelier was MOST entertaining. The view from our window table completed our evening.

The staff was exceptionally knowledgeable, attentive and gracious. The presentation, preparation and quality of dishes from appetizers to main courses was outstanding. The views of the valley below are spectacular. My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with dinner at Eden and the Eden’s team went out of their way to make our visit a memorable one. Dining at Eden - Rimrock Resort Hotel is well worth it!

One of the best meals we've had in years. Everything was wonderful from beginning to end from the delicious amuse bouche to the dessert. My only complaint is that the wine list is quite expensive and overpriced. With that said, I would definitely come again.

It is a special occasion restaurant where you are made to feel very special. The service and attention to detail from the moment we arrived to being driven back to our nearby hotel was superb. My wife and I dined here for her 50th while we were holidaying from Australia and we had a wonderful night.

Amazing meal with great ambience and wonderful attentive service by the wait staff! They went above and beyond to make sure my parents' 50th wedding anniversary was a special occasion. We were so impressed and delighted with the food and service.

Amazing food and spectacular views!

I think this was the best food and service that we have ever experienced. We had a tasting meal with wine pairing. I cannot state how outstanding this meal was.

Food was above average. Nothing that stood out as special if you eat fine dining on a more regular basis. Lobster bisque broth with the miso flavorings was difficult to eat, all four of us at the table agreed.

Ambience and location were great, good for a romantic date.

My Fiancé and I spent our engagement dinner here and it was absolutely PERFECT!! I reached out to Chris (the Maître D’) a few weeks before the dinner to make sure everything was set up for the special occasion, and he took care of everything. They put us at the best table with an incredible view and made the whole experience unforgettable. The Host, Sommelier, and Waitress were all outstanding, and the food was phenomenal! If I could give this place 10 Stars I definitely would. We look forward to coming back sometime in the future to relive the perfect night.
