Amazing time! Great food & service! Love Sonya + the entire staff. Thank you for always making everyone feel welcomed and satisfied!
I’m a forever fan!
Twelve of us went for a birthday party and the evening was magical. I like that you can bring your own wine, the food was delicious and fresh (although I wish the soup was hotter) and the atmosphere is fantastic. A true Austin gem. Bit pricy but worth it.
Lovely outdoor farm to table restaurant with community seating only. My friend was was gluten and grain free. The host sent us a reminder text and preemptively asked for us to let them know if we had any food restrictions or request. I thought that was really thoughtful they have implemented that into their courtesy reminder.
Amazing experience and my friend enjoyed their birthday dinner
Awesome food and terrific service added to the charming appeal of this farm-is-restaurant location. We had the tri-tip steak and quail and both dishes were expertly prepared and delicious. Our server encouraged us to walk around the farm where they are sourcing a good portion of their offerings. They do not have a license so it's BYOB so pick-up some wine at your favorite place and splurge on the food menu you wont regret it. This is a must dine location in Austin!
My wife and I absolutely loved it. It was a little more expensive than I initially anticipated, but well worth it. The ambiance was great; there was live music setting a nice mood. It wasn't super quiet, but in a good way; the place had a pulse :). The whole waitstaff was great! We'll definitely be going back, and definitely want to take friends in the future; this place is as Austin as it gets!
Beautiful outdoor venue with a wonderful pre-fix meal. It was nice to walk the surroundings as well. Our only complaint would be that the benches are a tad hard for sitting on.
Will definitely come again and recommend this place to my friends.
It's a beautiful, charming and very organic place. I loved the fact that they accommodated our vegan preferences. You just have to let them know in advance, when you make your reservation that you prefer a vegan meal and they will make a delicious one! Highly recommend it this place!
Eden East has to be one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. From the pacing (you get to take as much time as you need), to walking around the farm and dining under gorgeous lighting - I couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere. The food was incredible. Our first course was a chilled butternut squash soup with ginger and garlic flowers - so many great flavors! We had a fresh green salad followed by a choice of chicken fried quail, seabass, or tri tip steak. We got one of each as a group and they were all of out this world. We finished with dessert - they even put a candle in for our friend's birthday! Not to mention, it's BYOB. I will 1 million percent come back every time I'm in Austin.
Truly an amazing dining experience. The service, food and atmosphere were amazing. This is definitely going in my ‘must do’ file for anyone visiting austin!
We have been here twice for special occasions and in both cases the food and the service have been simply wonderful. We can not recommend them highly enough - the experience is not one to miss! Allow 2 hours for it, it is worth every minute.
Eden East was stunning, the service was incredible and the food - fantastic. We had an incredible experience, and walking around the farm was amazing. Be sure to bring bug spray (or spray down before!) because it’s still a farm, so there will be bugs. I did get a nasty bite by a spider while there, but that’s totally out of the restaurant’s control. Otherwise, fantastic experience
Celebrating an accomplishment. Food was good.
Ambience was very unique and fun. Loved the unique dishes and well presented plating. Service was very nice and our waiter was very attentive.
Great time! Great food. Great service. Would definitely return. I think our party had one of each from the menu and it was all tasty. Loved that we could bring our own wine.
Rocking it on the appetizers and main course! Spend your money there.
This has been a place we’ve been interested in since moving to Austin and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, service was great and overall experience was awesome! We will be back for sure-new regular date spot!
Great food and service. Beautiful restaurant.
Absolutely amazing! This is my second time visiting and both experiences have been outstanding!
First of all, you have to understand that it will be hot. That's a given, because you're dining outdoors in Austin in the summer, so just put that part aside, because there are fans and music, and the place is quite lovely. The service was great -- our waitress did a fine job. But, what you really come for is the food, and the food was just okay. I really wanted to love this place, because I've been wanting to come for a long time, but I just didn't. No one thought their meal was exceptional - most dishes were under seasoned and just meh. We had the shrimp, the quail, the butternut gnocchi, the pickles, and the corn soup -- as well as the eggplant and onion dip. The corn soup was lovely, the gnocchi was nice after I upped the salt on the dish, but everything else was underwhelming. Combine that with the amount of flies you constantly had to shoo away in the heat, and we couldn't wait to end the meal.
Great food, great service, great drinks...food was small portions for the price, but then again it’s literally food from their farm so when you factor that in, its more understandable...salad dressing was amazing
Even when somebody could consider it a little overpriced, my wife and me enjoyed every bite and every course. Very often my wife suffers of upset stomach when we eat out, but this time it wasn't the case, the ingredients are really fresh and organic. The staff is very nice, always responding to all our questions. I will totally recommend this place to my friends.
Chilled soup was out of this world!
Salad with pork belly was outstanding.
Chicken fried quail needed salt.
Desert was very good.
The staff was wonderful. The food was also very good, flavorful and fresh. Cocktails included with the meal were delicious. The ambience was disappointing to me bc I had chosen the location for a special anniversary celebration based on its reputation as one of the most romantic places in Austin. I had a view of the trash dumpsters, and didn’t realize that a main road was literally feet from where we were seated with the sound of cars going by continuously. There were numerous mosquitos biting me and my significant other and flies swarming over our meal (which I understand would be inherent with an outdoor venue, and the restaurant did provide bug spray) it just took away from the idea of the romantic evening I had anticipated.
Romantic, natural, delightful meal in a covered outdoor area on an urban farm, surrounded by fields of food. The outdoor seating area is cooled by fans that somehow keep the temperature down without blowing everything around, the food is fresh and artfully prepared without being indulgent of pretentious, and the service is both excellent and charming. There is really nothing not to like about Eden East, and it is perfect for a special, romantic date
Delicious food, great service, beautiful space! Would definitely recommend.
Excellent food experience. Great quality and friendly service.
An unfortunate experience and I’m sorry to have even started this review as it would be scathing if I continue. I’ve considered reaching out to management to get my $65 back/let them know that their kitchen needs improvement but is that worth the money idk
Hello, we are very interested to know about your experience as it helps us improve. Please email info@edeneastaustindotcom to discuss with a manager. We pride ourselves on providing an incredible overall experience to all of our guests.
If I could leave 6 stars I would!! My boyfriend and I have become foodies and this place just across the board was awesome. Something to be said about eating the food that’s coming straight from the farm behind you. Service was great, meals were perfectly proportioned and spaced out accordingly. Not to mention this place is so cute and romantic! We will be back.
Wonderful experience, you don't want to miss it. Great food and ambiance, its places like this that make austin great :)
Eden East is a wonderful "on the farm" experience. My Mom and Sister loved the Mother's Day celebration! I will definitely be back!
I love going here for a Mother’s Day brunch. Service is friendly, the food is great and it’s so fun to walk around the beautiful farm!
Great evening out with that special person or a group of close friends...provides something different to do in Austin
The experience was lovely even if You like to eat by yourself! But if you love to dine By yourself it would be one level up.
I took my mom for dinner here as part of our Mother's Day weekend celebrations and we loved it! It was a chilly night so we were greeted with warm smiles and blankets. We were seated promptly and offered a complimentary cocktail. Shortly after, we went on a walk around the property - it was very quaint. The food was delicious and fresh. Although it's a prix fixe menu, you are not left feeling full and uncomfortable. The portions and pairing are perfection! I highly recommend this place! Great experience.
I cannot say enough good things about Eden East!! Seven of us came for a nice dinner out for my best friend’s bachelorette party. The scenery/farm is amazing, the food is even more amazing, and the service was perfect...our waitress was so much fun! This is a dinner and experience all wrapped into one. Hands down our favorite part of our weekend trip to Austin! Also I haven’t stopped thinking about the dessert since I ate it. Best dessert I’ve ever tasted!
Wonderful spot. We went on a perfect spring day and the food and service matched the weather, perfect. Loved being able to walk around the farm before dinner. Will definitely be back.
What a fabulous unique experience in the middle of a city! From cafe lights to Chandeliers in the trees to chicken coops to straw on the ground all together making a magical evening. Dining was casual and at a relaxed pace where you can get up and wander the grounds in between courses. Service was more like at a good friends home. It’s BYOB. The food is amazing!
Best ambiance experience in ATX. Outdoor dining but felt like a magical garden party. The farm was adorable and the setting was so romantic. Highly recommend.
We went for Easter Sunday and there were 4 of us. And this review is a consensus for all 4 of us. The food was absolutely tasteless.
They started with passed appetizers - one of which was a polenta cake with a fish topping. The cake was so greasy, it was inedible. I wish I would have taken pictures now...
One guest was a vegan and we asked for them to bring a polenta cake without the fish on top. We were told, "the passed apps only come as they are - no substitutions". I explained that I wasn't substituting, I was just asking for no fish on top. But, no, they would;dn't do it... There was only one passed app out of 4 that was vegan - which was roasted beets.
The kitchen was literally 4 feet away with a window. It was not exceptionally busy, so it would have been very easy for the waitress to request a polenta cake with no fish... but she wouldn't.
We told her about our vegan friend and so she was given - 1) Roasted Beets as a passed app - 2) Roasted Beets in a tortilla for the main meal and 3) Roasted Beets in a bowl as a side dish.... that's it...
The fried quail was absolutely tasteless while the short rib tacos had some kind of hard, overcooked edges that made it too chewy to eat...
We really wanted to like the place but the wait staff was not warm or welcoming and the food was not but but seriously terrible. And we are HUGE foodies....
The worst part was the check. I was shocked that the check was $300. There was nothing that warranted that large of a bill.
We def will not be coming back to Eden East....
What a beauty! The salad was the only thing food wise that was truly phenomenal and the redfish in fact tasted like it was a day or two past it's prime - not too fresh. Despite this, I would recommend it on a Spring day/summer night to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful farm and cute farm to table vibe. The fact that it's BYOB with no corkage fee is a major plus as well, and complimentary cocktails! Without this element, I'm not sure the value would be there at $70/head, but I loved being able to bring a couple good bottles of wine at retail price. I will be back to try their Sunday brunch and farmstand!
Loved every minute of it!!!
