It was a great experience from the front door, dinner, server and overall ambiance. Having been to this location multiple times I just revised why my wife and I keep coming back. Well done (but not the steak ... LOL)!
The service was great the food was ok
I requested for them to make it as special as possible and nothing was done. ☹️
We arrived on time. They gave our reservation to another table after we checked in and then we had to wait 30 minutes for them to figure it out. The food was good, but the service was okay. Staff looks really messy and no presentable. Front desk staff very uncoordinated and rude. For a “fine dining” option, this might be the worst in the area. Food is good, but it isn’t worth the hassle of dealing with the staff. Overall, not impressed.
Had a great meal and our server David V was awesome. He made the experience much better than what it probably could’ve been.
Had a lovely table set out for us for our anniversary! Complimentary dessert and champagne and even a rose and card. So wonderful!
Great food, even better service.
The experience was bomb! Our waiter (forgot his name) he was a great gentleman that stay consistent with our first time experience. We will return again. #GirlgetTogether
Crab fried rice not so good
Piece of parlor in our old fashion
Spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely no complaints.
Happy New Year Eve Dinner
From the time of arrival our experience was great. Our waiter Tech was outstanding. Product knowledge and his presentation was remarkable. He made our special evening a wonderful experience to always remember.
Thank you
The food is always great! However, there seems not to be a dress code. My fiancé and I were dressed very nicely as it was New Year's Eve and because it's a nice restaurant. However, we saw a lot of people wearing sneakers and sweatshirts.
It was an exceptional experience. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
The food was very good, as was the service at first. However, they got one order wrong and kept neglecting to refill water / drinks. The biggest issue was the bathroom: it was disgusting by the end of the night. TP everywhere (except on the rolls), a dirty spoon in a stall 😳 along with a random fake fingernail. The restaurant itself is beautiful but they had better figure out how to maintain it.
We are definitely concerned about the way your New Year's Eve visit concluded and particularly with the condition of the restroom. We hope to keep our restaurant well maintained at every point and apologize your visit raised an issue of concern. We promise to be even more attentive to the cleanliness of our restaurant. Thank you so much for joining us and for the chance to address things. If we can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at the restaurant. (703) 442-4523
Everything was outstanding! Even better was our server Tec. Truly made our night perfect!
Service and food was excellent. I recommend the restaurant to all my family and friends. I will be back soon .
Eddie V’s is STELLAR! In a lane all by themselves.
Holiday dinner with friends
Xmas lunch celebration!
Celebrating a successful semester
Had an excellent meal with my mom and friends for my birthday!
Eddie V's is one of our favorite places to dine....lunch and dinner. It's the place we think of when we want to experience great food and service, as well as an elegant, yet warm and friendly, treat. We drive about an hour to get there, and it's always worth it.
Family Dinner and it was wonderful as always!! Food and service always top notch!!
Very bad experience with a chain I’d thought highly of before. Service was poor and wait time, seating options poorly explained. Manager tried to make it right, but only after we’d waited for over an hour and 20 minutes past our reservation time. After that, the relative quality of the food was marginal.
Great and felt safe too.
We chose Eddie Vs for Christmas Eve. We had the family with us. We ordered a bottle of red, which the waiter assisted with, and mostly Filet and Seafood. The food was outstanding, as was the service. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The experience at Eddie V. Is always incredible. Highly recommend.
Food was great! Service was excellent! Table location was ok. Overall, the dining experience was excellent!
Positive dinning experience. Server was respectful and followed COVID guidelines. Restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays which created a festive ambiance.
Birthday dinner for my significant other was phenomenal!
The waiter was very professional and kind
Excellent wait staff. Excellent food. Great atmosphere.
My 35th birthday was spent here. My daughter and I enjoyed this place!
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
Although we had a wonderful experience at Eddie V's for my family members birthday, I was expecting the food to be spectacular, especially considering the amount of accolades this place has.
The main entrees we ordered were Filet Mignons and Salmon. Those courses were great, however, the sides were a bit underwhelming. We ordered the Brüssel sprouts, truffle Mac and cheese and the Au Gratin Potatoes. The Brüssel sprouts were good, not great. The Mac and Cheese wasn't crispy enough for me to even fathom tasting it, I could just tell CALORIES and the Au Gratin Potatoes (which I was looking forward to the most) looked like a bowl of half cut potatoes that were half cooked with pounds of cheese on top. Mind you, Au Gratin potatoes should be finely cut and crispy on top. Maybe they don't create it the french way? The presentation and taste of the potatoes were just not up to par. This is like going to iHop, asking for extra crispy potatoes, and they still come out undercooked and lukewarm. I was disappointed bc these could've been great.
Needless to say, we left with a ton of leftovers and I'm currently cooking the "au gratin potatoes" in my oven now...how they should be prepared.
I'm usually not one to comment negatively about dining out experiences, but this was just not what I was expecting before we arrived.
The dinner ambience, rose petals and bday card were a nice touch and our server, Melissa, was fun and attentive. I just wish the food could've been more elevated and the communication regarding the bday dessert clarified correctly, especially since our tab was over $300.
I would give this place a 7.5/10 but I don't think I'll ever come back here voluntarily. There are much better restaurants in the area where you can find better filet mignon, salmon and sides that are prepared and presented in an elevated manner.
One of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Staff, service and food all top notch.
The waiting area prior to getting seated was congested with guests which was uncomfortable given the need to maintain distance due to the pandemic. The service was exceptional. However, I would reduce the number of visits by staff to the table (during the pandemic) and at least have fewer people interact with the guests. we had at least 4 different staff members serve our table. it should be really only one during the pandemic.
Just a night out with the family. Waiter was friendly, sufficiently attentive and professional. Food was excellent but I think excessively priced. $350 for three adults. 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, 1 side dish, 3 beers and 1 dessert with a 20% tip. The filets were fork tender and the Oscar part was a tad too salty for my liking. The sea bass was moist and tasty. The lobster mashed potatoes, oysters, lobster bisque and steak tartare were also good. Last but not least, the Godiva chocolate molten lava cake with ice cream was more than we three could handle. We’d return but it is bit pricey.
I had the bone-in ribeye with the spinach and lobster mashed potatoes. All amazing. The service was equally amazing!
Just the best always, great service. Felt safe during covid in door dining
