We had a superb dining experience as we always do at this location. This is by far our favorite restaurant in the Northern Virginia area. The food is exquisite... the service is unparalleled. We did experience a slight delay in getting our food, but without us even saying anything, our waitress provided complimentary lobster tacos to hold us over. We definitely want to order these next time and you should too: best tasting tacos you will ever try in your life.

My girlfriend and I both ordered the filet mignon, medium rare. They were cooked to perfection. For our sides, we ordered the crab fried rice with mushrooms and scallions (which is a MUST when you come here) and sauteed spinach with garlic and parmesan (our version of "healthy but still delicious").

For dessert, we ordered the bananas foster butter cake. I'll be honest, I do NOT like bananas. This was my girlfriend's choice. But I am so glad we ordered it because it was the best dessert that we have tried in the area. It is MOUTH WATERING. The presentation is great too (you watch the cake roast in a small fire at the table), perfect for any of you who love to to record for social media.

It is evident that the staff is well trained and they always go above and beyond for the clientele. Thank you to the staff for a great dining experience and for helping my girlfriend and I have an amazing Valentine's dinner.

The view from the main dining room reflects the essence of NoVA, the quintessential DC suburban area. Every dish is a separate experience , and their banana foster cake is my new favorite dessert. I must also say that the service is impeccable, particularly Kim. Eddie V’s is definitely one of my favorite restaurants.

Ambiance is elegant but comfortable; staff is professional but warm; food is creative but not fussy; service is attentive but not intrusive. Upscale but worth it!

Eddie V's never disappoints. We had to wait a little extra long being that it was the day before Valentines even with a reservation but everything from food to service to ambiance was GREAT

The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. However, I made a reservation for 13 guests well in advance of our recent visit. I was dismayed to see that they stuck all 13 of us in the bar area next to the live band. No one in our party could hear each other over the music. It was a completely disappointing experience. Totally unprofessional.

We had celebrating 38th wedding anniversary at Eddie V for dinner, anniversary card was set up on the table, it-was very impressive. They gave us booth next bar, it was so loud, when we have conversations, we have to raise our voice. We did not know they have a big dining area till we went to rest room. They knew we have an anniversary, they should put us a dining room area instead of bar area. Live music and loud voice are not pleasant atmosphere. But food was very good and service was good and efficient. We enjoyed it.

The food for this birthday dinner was fantastic as we had expected from reviews. Fish (tuna appetizer, Med. branzini & Chilean sea bass for mains) super fresh & perfectly prepared.
Cocktails great too. Music on a weekday night was a treat. It was a splurge we don’t regret but can’t justify often.

By far and away, though, the highlight was the stellar service managed so graciously by Medi Abera. She is amazing and made the evening special.

This was my first experience dining with Eddie V's and it won't be my last. Besides the extra wait time, everything was fantastic! I placed a reservation in advance and had to wait 30 extra minutes but I must address that this was the weekend before Valentine's Day. Luckily my finance and I found seats in the "V lounge" and enjoyed some unique cocktails before dinner. The waiter made our experience delightful and accommodated to any of our needs as well as offered suggestions. I definitely can't wait to go back and would highly recommend Eddie V's for any type of date night.

The steak was way overcooked. I asked for med rare and received well done. The waiter forgot to put the appetizer in and I had to ask for it after our table was cleared for the entree. The bearnaise sauce for the steak was cold and gross. I would suggest wait staff to write down orders. I have never had a good experience with a meal when the waiter tries to remember the order. They always mess it up or have you repeat your order several times. I have asked many friends and work associates about this and always come up with the same conclusions. It is not impressive nor effective.

The perfect spot for a business lunch - excellent food and decor that absorbs sound so you are not shouting to be heard. But the staff is the highlight - they are absolutely fantastic - they come by often enough to make sure all your needs are met but not so often that it disrupts the flow of the table conversation.

My birthday celebration was wonderful. We had the restaurant to ourselves for Sunday lunch. Ashley was so attentive and helpful in helping me select my delicious meal. Adam (manager) came to the table several times to see if my birthday celebration was enjoyable. The lunch menu had a tasty selection of beef and seafood selections.

Despite having a reservation we were stuck in the bar where we could not hear each other talk. This resulted in our inability to enjoy the cuisine. We should have gone somewhere else.

We spent our 26th wedding anniversary with Eddie V's on Saturday night. I'd been to this restaurant once before for an evening business dinner, but wanted to come back for this event. We arrived at our table to find fresh rose petals on the table and a Happy Anniversary card from the staff. We were treated very well and we were made to feel very special based on the level of attention and detail they paid to our special event. Eddie V's is classy and vibrant. We had a memorable night. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for great food, service, and night life!

It was my boyfriend and I’s first time at Eddie V’s and we loved it! The ambience was romantic and the live music was great! The food was excellent and our server Mitchell was attentive and very nice! The manager, a young lady was very accommodating as well, she asked how our dining experience was and of course we told her nothing but good things! We live around the area so we will definitely be back soon!

The food was incredibly good. I had the small filet mignon and we had the green bean side dish and the brussels sprouts for the table. . The food was delicious, perfectly prepared and the side dishes were wonderful! I was so happy to see a berries and cream option for dessert, lighter than the other desserts (which my friends had and they raved about the apple cobbler and the bananas foster cake). Best of all was the attention of the wait staff including Murat and David and the manager, Anthony, who visited us to ensure all was well. It was.

I chose this restaurant because my company had our XMAS party there and because the DC Restaurant Week got extended until Jan. 27th. When I got there, I found out that this restaurant did not participate in the extended Restaurant Week. Because of this confusion, the manager graciously sent over a Shrimp Cocktail that was amazing!

Server and food were great. Our courses took way too long in between and we passed on dessert because we didn’t want to wait. Would probably choose a different place going forward. Also it was freezing in the dining room.
